[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 400px;][font=arial][justify][size=8]God, he could use a nap right about now. Or the knowledge of his surroundings. Yes, he was lost. Horribly lost. Then again, it wasn't like he ever did know where he was in the first place. One day he just woke up with no recollection of where he was, what had happened, or who he was. Well, that's not exactly true. He knew was his name was at least. He just couldn't recall who he was as an individual. What he was like, what he was in general.

The feline padded through the territory, eyes half-lidded as he stared blankly at his surroundings. He wasn't going to call out for anyone when he first picked up the scent of a clan, but he was a bit impatient. He knew how these clan things worked. He had met a few travelers from clans in the past few weeks he was able to remember. You stayed around and waited for someone to ask some boring question. The waiting time could be short or long, or somewhere in between. Well, he wasn't looking forward to a long wait.

"Tapedeck, here to join." Short, sweet, and straight to the point. The male called out his name and business as he stood there a few feet into the territory, his shark tail swaying low to the ground.

Tapedeck said, not even offering a glimpse of a smile to the four who had welcomed him into the clan before walking past them and further into the territory. He had no questions or concerns.

No, he wanted to hurry up and get settled into his new home before he ended up getting restless and leaving. Staying in one place would be weird, seeing as his only memories did not involve him staying in one place in particular. But did he really want to travel his entire life? He wasn't sure. So for now he would just stick around in one place.

The male heard that some (if not most) clans often got several newcomers. Sometimes multiple joiners in a day, sometimes only one. But at the end of the day it was just a number. The feline padded forward with a blank expression on his face, coming to a stop beside the male who had welcomed him into the clan earlier.

"Welcome. Tapedeck." The man spoke calmly, gesturing to himself with a single paw.

[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 400px;][font=arial][justify][size=8]"Nah." The male stated bluntly as he walked over and seated himself, his shark tail curling around his side. This was that medic lady he met when he first joined, if he could recall correctly. Naturally he didn't know her very well, seeing as he just joined not too long ago and this was only the second time he had seen her. But this was a smart idea, he had to give her props for that. "Were you born in this clan?" Tapedeck would then ask the next person to arrive.

He didn't remember anything, save for the past few weeks. Did it bother him? Perhaps a little, though it wasn't like he was making an effort to recall even a single memory. These things took time, he knew that. He couldn't force memories to return. Besides, did he really even need whatever memories he did have? Tapedeck felt he only had to focus on the present and the future. No need to dwell on the past.

Speaking of the present, now was as good a time as any to actually start meeting his new clanmates. Perhaps he should have introduced himself to the rest of the clan sooner, but oh well. He was going to do it now. "Meet 'n greet." Tapedeck called out as he made himself comfortable in the midst of camp.

His stay was only temporary after all, only for a few days up to a week while he tried to figure out what he wanted to do from this point on. While wandering through the territory he came across a piece of a map. He couldn't find the other pieces, but he was able to make out a few directions on the piece of paper.

Should he try to follow the directions and see where that lead him? Aw hell, why not? It wasn't like he had anything else to do with his life. The shark cat hybrid didn't bother to get any of his belongings, seeing as he had none other than the piece of the map he had just found. "Later guys." Tapedeck shouted out quickly before walking away from the border of the Colouredclan. If this plan ended up being a bust he could always try returning later. Like a plan B of sorts.

Time to see where this would lead him.

The shark cat hybrid stood up once his name was called out, only to sit down after a few seconds. He was the head surgeon of the group, huh? Interesting. He supposed a group would need at least one person with medical knowledge and he was that person. He didn't know how he knew so much about the medical field, but he supposed he shouldn't question it. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, or whatever that silly saying way.

Into a place he was unfamiliar with. Then again he was unfamiliar with many many places. He wasn't exactly an experienced traveler, after all. At least he didn't think so. Perhaps he knew this place before he lost his memories. The shark cat hybrid snapped out of his thought process when he spotted a grey canine laying against a rock. Oh.

Should he say something? Perhaps he just wanted to be left alone. Or maybe it would be best to slip on by in case this guy wanted to eat him or something. After a few seconds of silence from the feline, he finally decided to speak up. "Hey." Tapedeck greeted the sha bluntly, facial expression lacking any emotion. If anything he looked tired.

Though it didn't seem that he was yelling out of anger. No, it was more out of fear than anger. Upon hearing the accusation of him being a rapist he began to frown. He most certainly was not one of those disgusting criminals. At least he didn't think he was. God, did he do something like that before he lost his memories? The feline attempted to shake off the thoughts. No, no he couldn't think like that. Just the thought of the crime alone made his stomach uneasy.

"I'm not a criminal. And I'm not gonna hurt you, don't worry." The tabby said as he seated himself right where he stood, not getting any closer to the sha or further away.

Both the submerged and land parts of the island had their own beauty to them. The beauty of all the greenery surrounding the buildings humans abandoned long ago. And the underwater portion of the territory was surprisingly calming. Tapedeck wasn't sure which part of the territory he wanted to explore in full. He could take advantage of the opportunity to explore the underwater section in full and try out his shape-shifting powers more, or he could stay dry and search the surface.

"It is pretty here, huh?" The man commented mostly to himself, though his words were audible enough for others to here.

Tapedeck was a rather honest man. The one time he lied, although this was long ago when he was in Tidalclan, was when he learned about his shape-shifting powers and pretended to be a girl to prank his clanmates. That was interesting. "And I have no reason to do that." He said in response to the Shadowclanner's second question. It would be a foolish idea to even attempt such a thing, as if he would actually consider doing such a thing in the first place. The canine was bigger than him. He could easily bite into his throat and be done with him. And he wasn't ready for death.

What was his name? 'Should I tell him?' The head surgeon considered giving the other male this information. He had just met the guy after all. Would it be a foolish idea to give the other man his name? "Tapedeck." The feline introduced himself. What could go wrong by giving his name to a stranger, right?
