[justify]Frankly, Damian didn't see a problem with being alone. Living as a rogue treated him well: he had all the food he wanted, he could go wherever life took him, and best of all, he was alone. The canine relished in the feeling of living in solitude, but there was also a problem with it that bothered the wolf. Damian was one of the many who believed that one should have a purpose in life, that one should be able to contribute to... something before they leave the Earth. As lovely as living alone forever sounds, there was no way he could contribute to anything significant other than maintaining the food chain, which, of course, was rather important in its own way, but it wasn't exactly why Damian was thinking of when the word "significant" came to mind.
In hopes to find the purpose he'd been desiring, he brought himself the border of the pine forest where the members of SunClan made their dwelling. The brown timber wolf's nose was hit with a scent that was distinctly different from the rest of area he's been walking through leading up to the border. He allowed himself to become accustomed to the smell before taking a seat right outside the marker, sweeping his fluffy tail along the ground and wrapping them around his forepaws. Someone was bound to spot him eventually; until then, he would wait.

[justify]Damian swiveled his neck in order to look at the figure who just spoke to him. He tilted his head, observing her for a brief moment before forming an answer in his mind. He hadn't particularly rehearsed what he was planning to say, but the female before him probably wasn't vey concerned, considering her brisk tone. "I've come to join," he stated after clearing his throat with a cough.

[justify]Upon hearing the statement of the retriever that had just joined them, Damian rose to his paws to stand and faced Steve, offering the him and Mid a polite smile. "Thanks; it's a pleasure to meet you both," he greeted, dipping his head the both of them. "The name is Damian."
-
"Nice to meet you, Bones," he replied, offering another smile to the German shepherd.

[justify]Damian was exploring the pine forest on his own when he spotted the group gathered by the border. He quirkier his eyebrow, curious as to what was taking place. By the time he'd approached the group, he'd managed to hear the stranger introduce himself as Brokenpaw and question his own presence there. Damian would say something, but seeing as he was new, the canine wasn't sure whether or not he had the right to speak. So he kept silent and waited for one with more authority to reply to his confusing statement. He simply raised his eyebrows in a questioning manner as he focused his gaze on the figure.

[justify]Damian was acquainted with just about nobody in SunClan, considering he had just joined and was mainly just getting used to the territory. Upon hearing an unfamiliar voice call out and announce a "sparring game," the wolf shrugged his shoulders and made his way over to where the sound came from. Why not?
He didn't really know what everyone within the territory considered fighting. The wolf had probably only fought once before against a fellow canine, and from what he could remember, it didn't end well. If he was going to be of any use to the group, perhaps this gathering would be beneficial.
