    As I stated in my first reply, above, you could have your mothers carry point genes. However, it would be very unlikely. Recessive point genes are extremely rare in wild cats. So basically, you'd either have to go for realism or diversity and you can't have both.

    Fall saw the innocence and the lack of understanding in the other she-cat's eyes, but it was hard for her to not feel threatened. She could sense Blackice's attraction to her, she was young and pretty. But so was Fall. And Fall was like Blackice, in a way. That other she-cat was just a normal, dingy little nobody. Fall... Fall was of serval blood. At least, partly. But it meant that she was like Blackice, and that other cat was not. She saw no reason why he would want someone like that over her...

    No, I'm not dead. I've been gone a long time and I'm afraid that's not going to change. :/ I might get on VERY OCCASIONALLY and when I do I'm too tired or too busy to post any more lessons. Sorry everyone. I definitely dropped the ball on this one.


    If there are more lessons to come, they will come in the Summer once my school and exams and nonsense are over.

    Hi guys...


    Wow, it's been so long since I've even been on this site. Well, for the next few days I'm going to try to answer SPECIFIC questions here on this thread. Don't ask me if I can train you. Just ask specific genetics questions. I will do my best to get on here a few times and answer them.

    THERE ARE EXACTLY TEN SLOTS OPENING UP FOR GENETICS TRAINING.


    The way this is going to work is that I am going to get on when I have time, and teach a class of ten the genetics they so desire to know.


    PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.


    In order to become enrolled in this class, I want you to tell me why you want to learn genetics, why you think I should spend my time teaching it to you, and how dedicated you are going to be to this.
    Convince me that you should be enrolled.


    I WANT PARAGRAPHS, PEOPLE.


    I don't have to do this, and it's for all your sakes that I'm doing it.
    So you better do a good job of convincing me if you want this to happen.
    Also, I need your ages. I'm not teaching some eight year old. Sorry. It's just not happening.


    Some info on the class:
    -Many people prefer pafps, but this will be better. Since this is the only class and the only ten students I will be teaching at the time, I will be able to focus on each person's needs and the group will not progress until everyone grasps the material.
    -Because I will have hand selected this group from the applications, I will be personally invested in the success of my students, so you won't have to worry about getting forgotten or left behind.
    -We will cover everything from the beginning to the bitter end. Or sweet end, depending on how you like it.


    ALSO:
    -In addition to the ten students chosen for the class, there will be a ten person waiting list, should any of the selected students become inactive or decide not to enroll.


    SO:
    Comment with your nice paragraphs here. I will accept who I accept, and there will be no arguments and I will not be changing my mind. Whining at me or getting mad is not going to change anything. Don't try it.


    I will be accepting new entries until March 17th. That is the deadline. Anyone applying after then cannot be enrolled unless they literally dazzle me and blow me away and I haven't yet given away all ten slots. Basically I have to think it would be an honor to have you in my class in order for this rule to change. And I'll warn you, that's not an easy thing to do.

    I am very interested in you. I say that honestly. From the way you write I can tell that you are responsible and that you are interested. You remind me of how I felt when I was looking for someone to teach me. I am self taught, and though I do not have time for individual classes, I have just opened up a ten person class. I am requiring applications, which I will evaluate, and I will choose the ten people that I think have the most passion, motivation, and dedication. From reading this, I think you already have a foot in.


    What I'm saying is that I would be thrilled to be your teacher.


    I know you said you want a one-on-one type setting. Unfortunately, it is much easier to teach more at a time. However, since this class is only going to be limited to ten people, it means I will be able to focus on each person's needs. And, since I personally will have hand selected each participant, I will be invested in their success. The class will move at a fast pace, but I promise that no one will fall behind or be flooded by the other students; we will not move on until everyone has fully grasped the material.


    Please apply. I would love to have you in my class; you seem like the exact kind of person I'm looking for. The deadline is March 17th, so you've got plenty of time. I can't wait to see your application.
