OOC: How about Terror? He's friendly enough, even though he's Benign's bodyguard.
IC: Terror followed his queen, silently hoping that Ebony wouldn't be punished too harshly. He looked fondly over to Mint, and noticing her expression, grinned. He hoped, just like everyone else, that he would be able to sink his claws into something soon. Just not a member of the group.
-
"Come with me, I'll take a look at it. I'm the Medicine cat now, Darkleaf gave me her position." Prairiestorm looked to Echostrike, "We made our way back to camp with the help of a loner named Ghost, and I'm not sure where he went after he helped us get home."
-
Hey guys I'm planning on bringing in Darksnow soon, if things with Ebony get too bad. Terror will probably scent him, just before he comes into the clearing, distracting everyone from Ebony. Benign will get to do some recruiting, and I want for Darksnow to be a little offensive to Anubis, not enough for Benign to care but enough to tick Anubis off. Then Anubis can be the one to blame Darksnow for attempting to kill Benign. Does that sound good to you guys?

OOC: Lightwind is available for an apprentice. She could mentor either one of them if that's alright. Whichever you prefer.
Also, has the med cat been active?IC: Relicfoot strode from the elder's den, muscles aching from the unchanged moss in his den. He was going to complain to the apprentices, but first he wanted to get something for his pain.

Maybe, but what if the strongest one is stupid? What if one of them is really clever and tricky or smart but not necessarily the strongest? I think Benign would consider that. I want to play that kit, if that happens. ^^ And anyways, maybe she could force the kits to... I feel like maybe she should have them kill each other, so that the one who is smartest/strongest/most loyal would survive. Good idea or not? That way, the kit that lives would also be the most ruthless, if they're willing to kill their own siblings. My kit would do that. ^^
-
Terror wandered around amid the watching, waiting cats. He saw their frightened faces and could feel the tension in the air. He hoped that he would not be forced to rip out any tongues today, but he had gotten over his distaste for the activity after the first several times Benign had instructed him to do it. He sat by Meek, just waiting patiently to see where this was headed. As he looked at the dirty she-cat and settled down next to her. After a moment, Terror began to feel pity for the mute and started grooming her dirt-covered fur. He wasn't sure why he was feeling so generous, but he knew Benign was busy so he had a moment to help Meek.
-
Glad you like the idea, but I'm not sure. We could say that they have until they reach 3 moons to kill off their siblings and if they don't that Benign will just choose. That way the kits have the chance to prove themselves to her before they become votaries. How does that sound?
-
Terror muttered, "Your fur is a mess, Meek. I'm surprised no one helps you out with this more often." Terror looked up at the she-cat, forcing her to meet his deep eyes and lowering his voice. "Are you... doing okay? I mean..." He looked down almost embarrassed, "I know, you don't expect me to be the kind of cat who would care. But... I can't help feel bad for you. How would you like it if I helped you hunt and keep your fur clean every once in a while?" He chuckled slightly, "Don't worry, I'm nicer than you think. Just nod if it sounds good to you."
-
Terror lowered his head, "Sorry, Benign. May I accompany her down to the river to wash herself? I will make sure to clean off my tongue for you as well, my lady." He bent low, hoping that Benign would accept his request for Meek's sake.
-
"No, my lady." He smiled a little, "Just had an odd stroke of pity, but it won't happen much, I assure you. Anubis and I are still quite loyal to you." He glanced to Anubis for him to back him up.
-
OOC: Well, the arena thing wasn't exactly what I meant. I thought that maybe the kits could just fight whenever and wherever they chose to make the smart ones be able to pick their battleground. Know what I mean? In an open arena, strongest wins. Clever ones would have a chance to win if it wad just an ongoing competition.
-
Terror grinned, letting some of his personality through, "Well, maybe not never. But we will restrain ourselves. I think we're all going a little crazy from the lack of bloodshed lately, guess it affected us in weird ways. We do apologize, my lady."
-
Terror scoffed and frowned in disdain. "That would never happen with me, Benign. You know that. Kits are insignificant, only the most powerful one can survive. There's no other way it could be. I understand that as well as you do. Benign, you oughtn't question the loyalty of your most faithful servants."
-
Hmmmm... Maybe... An abandoned garden? Overgrown with helpful herbs in case a cat gets sick? Ooh, maybe we could steal a med cat from somewhere because someone important falls ill and they realize that they'll need someone who can help keep the group from getting sick.
-
Terror braced himself in preparation for Ebony's punishment, knowing that Benign would need him to help hold the she-cat down. He glanced at Meek, still feeling bad for the mute and knowing that soon there would be yet another addition to the group's silent ranks. He sighed, licking Meek's thick fur one last time before waving his tail at Anubis and following his moody leader.
OOC: I hope that Ebony gets on tomorrow... She's kind of like the main focus of this scene until Darksnow comes in. And that won't be until after Ebony gets her tongue ripped out. So... Nothing to do til then. But I have to go for now, it's hard to be on because I'm in a cabin in the mountains that doesn't have great reception. I'm lucky to have been on tonight, from friends' various iPhones and iPads. Too bad I don't have one of my own or I would be on more, but oh well. Goodnight, Paramore! Had a good time rping with you!
-
Yeah, that's a good idea. You could have the two fight at some point, and either "tie" or have Benign win and not kill the fox so that the fox knows who's boss. But that would also leave an interesting danger to younger cats. Hmmmmm... What's something else that could go on their territory? Maybe an old barn that houses a few old loners whom Benign could kill or recruit and then use the barn for hunting? Idk, just an idea.
-
Hahaha that would be awesome. And yeah, I know. It's not exactly original, I was just kind of brainstorming. I'll think about it tonight, maybe I'll come up with some better ideas. ^^ I'll let you know if I think of anything. ;)
