Lily turned to him and gave a little half-smile before turning back to the water. "On three?" she asked.

"How did you hurt yourself? Does it still bother you?" Andrew asked.

Alex nodded at Pensri, then turned his gaze to Brian.

Andrew listened with wide eyes. "Wow." he whispered. "That's...well...that sounds a lot like my injury. Which was excruciating. But worse. So...wow."

((That must have been so painful! Btw, don't answer if you don't want to, I'm just curious, but is Cheyenne your real name? 'Cause mine is Naomi, and I gave my character that name too, so yeah.))

Alex shrugged. "Why not? I've always wanted to see London. Besides, maybe I could get accepted into the team. Wrestling or archery, something like that."

Jake smiled lovingly at her and shivered at the feel of her skin.

"Do you- do you think we should go after her?" he asked hesitantly. "She looked so upset..." Jake looked at Rosalin, concern and puzzlement creasing his forehead. "I wonder what was wrong?" he asked aloud.

"Okay, enough already!" Kelley laughed. "Enough with the accent! Surprise me. I love surprises." she confided.

"Nothing original." he answered. "I was skiing with my family in Austria and I crashed into a rock. I messed up my knee somehow. Apparently I ripped this little band called the miniscus, and it got tucked under my kneecap. Surgery and then physical therapy for like three years. This was last year." he said, absentmindedly rubbing his knee, the brace hidden beneath his pant leg. "But hey! It got me out of PE!" he suddenly grinned.

((That really happened to a friend of mine, except she has physical therapy and no PE for like five years, instead of three.))

Lily shuffled her feet nervously as she waited her turn to practice at the pool.

"O-kay???" Alex responded as he saw Brian's new outfit. "Dude, we're not even there yet!"

"Well, they put me under completely, so I don't remember a thing about the surgery except waking up in the hospital the next day. I don't even remember getting to the hospital." he realized. "I guess I fainted." he blushed a little.

Lily noticed Bluerain's downtrodden look and turned to her. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" she asked.

Andrew shrugged. "Anyway, I have to wear this stupid brace now, and I hate it." he sighed.

Lily looked puzzled. "What do you mean?" she asked.

"And you did, right?" Andrew pointed out.

"I thought sons of Poseidon never got wet." Alex pointed out. "So what's with all the gear?"
