[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px;][justify]Hearing the sound of voices belonging to several creatures, one of which being somewhat familiar to her, Lorelei would approach the scene. A single working ocular pausing briefly on each of those present, lingering on the figure of Juvenile. It seemed she hadn't been acquainted with both this new joiner and Marianus as of yet. Something the Empress did plan on changing. Unsure on how she felt about the both of them quite yet, though this was understandable. Luckily for them though, she hadn't heard anything about them prior to the scenario at hand. This meant that her emotions toward them both were a blank canvas currently.

"Hey, I'm Lorelei. I'm the Empress 'round here. Welcome, if ya need anythin' feel free ta let me know!" A somewhat welcoming voice would escape the vulture. Her tone harbouring a thick southern drawl.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12pt;][justify]Lorelei would watch closely as the scene unfolded, hoping that this would be the last time something like this would occur. Not that she believed it would be, though it would be good. Having the pines from a cactus attached to your body didn't exactly seem like fun, though it seemed Veronaskeletons was very much calm regarding the situation at hand. At least, if they were to obtain anything from Magnolia's misery, they could begin to see that the Turtledove was very much capable of handling these kinds of situations. The Empress could do nothing but hope this trend would continue forward.

"Look after yerself, Maggie." Lorelei would eventually speak once more, though she was aware that she had already told the Dove the same thing. Such a statement seemed far too important for her not to repeat it though. "I doubt you'll be fightin' any cactus' anytime soon" the woman would add, again trying to make he situation slightly more light-hearted.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12pt;][justify]Powers. It seemed like such a strange topic to the Empress. Of course, this was only due to a lack of exposure in the past. Her introduction to the larger groups she had grown used to meant that all of a sudden there were a lot more things that she was seemingly unaware of. Powers, mutations and odd pelt colourations. These seemed as though they would only be the tip of the iceberg though, the whole situation seeming very much strange to her.

A lack of understanding as to their general existence would make Lorelei's future very much interesting. The main issue being a lack of understanding as to how others managed to control each of their powers. The ways in which they worked being a mystery to the Empress.

Still, one afternoon she had woken up to find she was no longer in the vulture body she would commonly parade around within. Her figure being much larger and now four legged, owning a thick layer of fur rather than her usual mocha feathers. At first, there had been horror. Having woken up to see paws rather than talons. Somehow though, the Empress would soon manage to get herself to calm down. Understanding that others went through this somewhat regularly, though they would commonly have control over what they were doing or the form they would inhabit.

Wondering around caused an array of flowers to form in her wake, some being somewhat useful herbs. Not that they were in the best environment for them to grow and thrive, though Lorelei was somewhat sure they would quickly figure out a way for herbs to be kept safe within the hot conditions. It did turn out that she had a few more powers now at her disposal, though the Empress hadn't yet figured this out.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12pt;][justify]"Hey, nice ta meet ya" a single working ocular would survey the creature standing before her. Seeing what she had to work with. "I've only recently stepped up as Empress, so I'm checking the tribe's allies. You were allies with us before, yeah?" Words would continue to leave the woman, drenched in a thick southern drawl.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12pt;][justify]At the sound of a familiar voice, the Empress would blink now rounded blue oculars. Clearly finding it odd to have two working visionaries, though she guessed that this was supposed to be an advantage to her. Regardless, she was sure she could find an eye patch or something similar if she found it too strange. Then again, inhabiting the form of a canine was very much strange in itself. Something that would take a while to get used to, understandably. That being said, if she could get used to others having powers there was no need to say she couldn't get used to owning the same traits. Eventually, anyway.

    "It's me, Lorelei."

The words sounded foreign on her lips, the woman clearly not used to such a change in facial structure. Allowing herself to survey the area around her showed something Magnolia had already picked up on. Flowers were growing behind her. Blue oculars would widen for a second, though she was kept relatively calm. After all, flowers were much less of a shock in comparison with shifting into another body without even knowing you were doing so. Not to say this wasn't strange to her.

"I... I think I have some powers" shocked words would leave the Empress after a pause. Confusion plaguing her features.

[size=8]Though she had only recently changed forms, Lorelei was already having problems with the canine body she inhabited. Though it was larger than her genetic body, also having two working eyes rather than the single working eye the vulture had owned, it clearly hadn't been built with the heat of the desert in mind. The one problem that came with this was that the Empress had no control over her newfound powers. Flowers would be born in her wake, though due to the conditions of the area most began to wilt somewhat quickly. Lorelei had also found her bodily fluids to hold a navy hue to them. Something she had found via a small cut on her shoulder.

Noticing a figure, the woman would direct her thoughts away from these powers for the time being. Her somewhat large frame now slowly making it's way toward Macabrepaw at a somewhat slow pace. Each footstep somewhat unstable, her movements generally awkward. The signs that she was clearly not used to a form so much different to the vulture body she had been born within.

    "Hello?"

A single word would slip past her lips, her figure still making the journey toward the stranger before her. This woman seemed somewhat cheery, welcoming. Of course, looks weren't everything. Deep down she was still the same woman that had joined RadicalClan before. Relaxed and such, whilst deep down being somewhat manipulative. All it took was a spark to set this off. Fireworks could be dangerous if left uncontrolled, after all.

[size=8]OOC: I totally understand! I hope school goes well for you!

IC: Uncontrollable powers had once again caused the Empress to shape shift into another form, though she didn't seem too disheartened by this. Whilst the domestic feline was pretty small in comparison to the husky body she had been in, the difference in pelts and such meant that she wasn't as hot constantly. Something that was somewhat important to her wellbeing.

Having been wondering around at the time, the Empress managed to pick up on the words that had left Veronaskeletons. Though she hadn't been very close with the other woman, Lorelei couldn't help but be disheartened by the news. Verona had been active, someone she thought was highly deserving of her position. Not only that, but she had also been a good contribution to the tribe when regarding her personality. Someone that was reasonably fun to be around, though it seemed she had taken her job somewhat seriously. A good trait to possess.

    "Bye, Verona!"

Hopefully the woman would have heard her words, though Lorelei had doubted this would be the case. Still, she could always cling on to that slight sense of hope. Not only the hope that she would hear her, but the hope that at one point she would make a return.

[size=8]It had been a week, or at least around that period of time, since the last meeting. Seeing as Lorelei had promised weekly meetings, she thought it best to do what she could to uphold her end of the bargain. Not particularly because she could think of a large amount of stuff to include in the meeting, but purely because she had said that she would. A small update seemed better than nothing, anyway.

"Tribe of Ancient Stones, meetin'!" The domestic feline would call out, watching as several NPCs slowly gathered at the heart of the pyramid that they called their home. Somewhere she was still particularly fond of, though she couldn't speak for other members of the tribe. "I'll start with promotions and demotions," that seemed to make sense. "Veronaskeletons left and stepped down, Louvreart and Eternalsunshine are demoted" it was a shame, but the woman hadn't seen them for too long. "No promotions right now" nobody in particular had yet to catch her eye, though she had spotted a general increase in activity within the clan.

"I'm gonna hold some Valentines events near the weekend, maybe a blind datin' thing and carnival or somethin'... Anyone else want us to do somethin'?" Raids would have also been a topic for discussion, but Lorelei simply thought they weren't strong enough to begin dealing them out at that point in time. Not to mention the fact that she couldn't pinpoint any groups deserving of raids, seeing as they had managed not to get much trouble quite yet.

Unsure as to if there was anything else that she needed to discuss, Lorelei would sit and attempt to gauge the reaction of her audience.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px;][justify]The last meeting Lorelei had held hadn't been particularly upbeat, mainly consisting of demotions. Not that they weren't required, but it would likely dampen the tribe's spirits. What would the woman try in order to combat this? There wasn't much that could be done, but things such as events seemed to be a good plan for the time being. Attempts to try and increase activity were important for the tribe, it would be even better for them to create a positive atmosphere whilst aiming for this. Attempting to sweep the negative under the rug for the time being, seeing as it was only positions that had been lost. The group could still easily move forward, though it didn't seem as though they had many remaining members. Something that had clearly began to put the feline on edge. The thought of eventually ruling over a ghost town being terrifying in it's own regard.

"Come 'ere if ya want a weekly task!" Shouting was the only way she would be able to communicate with the tribe, seeing as the woman didn't have telepathy. Nor could she see anyone willing to pass on the message to other members of the tribe. Her reasonably large figure would stand at the base of the pyramid, her posture strong despite the heat looming over her. Temperature didn't usually seem to be an issue for the Empress, though this was due to her vast experience with deserts in the past. Rather, the woman seemed to thrive in settings like these.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px;][justify]OOC: Sorry for my slight drop in activity lately! This was mainly due to school, with my mock exams starting up next week. I will, however, attempt to increase my activity with Lorelei as much as possible.

IC: Life had seemingly began to move at a particularly slow speed within the Empress' mind. Days would become weeks, weeks became months. Maybe it was just a rough patch, something not particularly aided by how little she felt she could do at the moment. As much as she wanted to engage in some form of combat, Lorelei wasn't about to jump into fights the tribe would be unable to handle. Leaving her with limited options. Herb training was out of the picture due to how little knowledge she had on the subject, leaving her with combat training along with a few other options. Ones that she would likely be using in the near future regardless. Creating events and other similar tasks.

"Anyone interested in learnin' to fight, come 'ere!" Words drenched in a thick, southern accent would leave the woman. Her large figure standing at the base of the pyramid they called 'home', shaking to a small degree. There didn't seem to be a particular cause to this, particularly not the temperature of the climate she was in. Still, the Empress would ignore this for the time being. Instead, Lorelei would focus on the task she had now given herself.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px;][justify]First, Lorelei would focus on Sutton. Offering the woman a very brief smile. From the little she knew of the woman, she was nice enough. Someone who knew what they were doing, though Sutton did seem a little too quiet compared to what she was used to. Then again, most creatures within the tribe seemed to fit this description. Not that it was a particularly negative thing, though it was something Lorelei had a hard time adjusting to.

"Sutton." Lorelei would allow the word to slip past her lips, dragging her away from her thoughts for the time being. "Hold an event of some kind, maybe a paintin' class or somethin'?" It seemed as though she could trust Sutton with the creative control the task provided her with.

After a brief pause, hazel oculars would then focus on Magnolia. Clearly noticing that she didn't seem as cheery when compared with Sutton. Unsure of what she could make out of this for the time being. "Maggie, I'd like ya to take a group an' collect some herbs. You could teach 'em whatever ya know whilst yer doin' it if ya want" after all, it seemed like one of the best ways for someone to teach a group. Being able to clearly demonstrate the locations of different herbs along with much more information.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px][justify]Lorelei would focus on the woman addressing her for a moment, hazel eyes focused on her. A deep confusion portrayed on her ragged features, though this slowly began to turn to a more neutral expression. "I think I'm thinkin' of someone else, sorry" the Empress seemed lost in thought as the words left her lips. Maybe it was a bad memory, this seemed like the most reasonable reasoning at least.

Eventually, the feline's vision would switch to focus on the canine that had spoken to her. "Maybe you could organise a blind dating event? Get someone ta help ya if ya want." Such an activity sounded fun to her, though it would also likely require more than one creature. Depending on the way Macabrepaw wanted to work on things.

[fancypost borderwidth=0; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]A glance would be awarded to Magnolia and Macabrepaw, though it would only last for a short period. None of the tribe's existing members seemed overly willing to fight, hinting at a change toward the way she lead them in the future. Not that she wanted to completely change her plans, though Lorelei was well aware of the fact that she would likely have to change up her stance on fighting to an extent. Raids would still be highly useful, the woman just had to make sure they were conducted in a manner that the tribe agreed with. Stealing from their enemies seeming like one of the routes they could take.

Eventually, her vision would settle on Amaryllis. Grateful that someone would be willing to participate. The basics did seem as though they would be the most useful for the tribe's members. This making the Empress a little more willing to simply focus on these points. "Right." Lorelei would pause at that moment, attempting to form a plan within her mind. Something easier said than done. It was clear she wasn't really fit for the role of a teacher, though she would give it her best effort.

Demonstrations seemed as though they would offer the best explanation, explaining how each move worked through word of mouth seeming to be much harder for the Empress to accomplish. "Do ya mind if we partner up an' I demonstrate some moves?" A southern tone would leave the creature, her mind still working to try and form some kind of plan.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify; width: 400px;]"RadicalClan?"

This question wasn't due to Lorelei not knowing the clan, rather it was the Empress repeating the name of her former home. Taking in the word for a moment as she focused on the trio standing before her. Memories clear within her mind, this group being her introduction to clan life. Such an important milestone would be nearly impossible to forget. Aria wasn't a familiar face though, causing the woman to assume she had became a member of the group once she had departed.

Even if such a creature was vivid within her mind, Aria wouldn't have remembered her. At least not in the form she currently occupied. A hybrid, something that would likely appear to be an abomination to anyone who hadn't previously been exposed to such a display. Large tentacles pultruded from a figure that was reasonably larger than what would be considered 'normal' for a domestic feline. Her entire frame tinted in different shades of navy.

"Kid, what're ya doin' so far from home then?" The Empress would eventually allow more words to escape her lips. Each syllable drenched within a thick southern accent. "Would Peter be alright with ya bein' so far from home?" A second question would soon follow the first. A small amount of concern displaying on odd features.

[fancypost borderwidth= 0px; text-align: justify; width: 460px; padding: 10px;]It seemed to be an impossible task for the Empress to avoid laughter, though the hybrid would do what she could to minimalize her outburst. Taking in a breath and allowing fangs to show in a small, toothy grin after moments would be consumed by her laughter. It seemed she had taken a liking to the child that had shown up, mainly due to the reminders Aria provided regarding her first experience with clan life. Though it was safe to assume that Lorelei hadn't fit in perfectly within RadicalClan, her time spent as part of their group had worked to shape her future. Providing her with an interesting experience, though it may have been somewhat short-lived.

"She's alright to stay, but ya can if ya want"

Such words would be spoken in a particularly relaxed manner, one that showed that Lorelei wasn't overly worried regarding the scenario at hand. Lorelei had taken the child's word over the fact that she would be alright within the territory of an ally, despite her age. Something that could be seen as reckless, though Aria didn't seem to have any bad intentions. Though she seemed as though she would be a troublemaker, which wouldn't prove to be an issue for the Empress. Something that would likely be known by those that had witnessed her first meeting as the tribe's leader. Such an energetic ceremony having likely set the members of the group up for a much more vibrant leader. Something only partially true, with Lorelei consistently shifting from a more vibrant persona to that of a more lazy one. Causing the leader to become unpredictable at the best of times.

[fancypost borderwidth= 0px; text-align: justify; width: 460px; padding: 10px;]Hearing the woman's acceptance, Lorelei would nod. A grin forming on her features as she shifted to another form. That of a hybrid, though it seemed the main body shape was modelled off that of a domestic feline. One reasonably larger than what would be expected for the species, though. "Ya don't mind, do ya hun? It's just easiest for me ta use this body for fightin'" of course, Lorelei wasn't too worried over how Amaryllis would reply. After all, it wasn't as though the creature would be able to choose her opponents when on the battle field, at least not in all situations. In fact, Lorelei thought it best for her to get in some practice against larger opponents. Wanting to educate her fellow tribe members in how to deal with creatures in bodies larger than their own. Such advice seemed too practical for the woman to want to avoid passing it down, though part of this was fuelled by adrenaline.

"First off, ya wanna learn how do block and dodge." Such a point seemed like a good starting place. "Right, try an' avoid these attacks." Allowing Amaryllis a pause, the Empress would send a large paw toward her sparring partner. Claws hidden, though there was some force behind the movement. Enough to cause a dull blow upon impact. Lorelei was already planning further moves, though she would do what she could to restrain herself. Scared to overwhelm the creature standing before her. After all, Amaryllis didn't seem overly willing to fight against her, though part of this would be down to the fact that Lorelei was in fact the leader of the tribe.

[justify]OOC: I wrote this up two days ago and then it was deleted right before I went to post it, so sorry for the long wait! I will be working on my own activity with Lorelei from this point onward along with focusing on making the tribe much more active.

IC: It had been a long time. Something about meetings seemed much stranger to her than they had been even when Lorelei had first became the tribe's Empress. This was likely down to the adrenaline the woman had felt when she had first held a meeting, the emotions she felt pushing her forward. Instead of those emotions now though, there was a sense of embarrassment flowing through her body. Lorelei had failed at what she had originally promised to do, to an extent. This didn't mean it was too late to work on making her promise a reality though, so that was what the vulture would try her hardest to do. Hoping that, if she was to bring anything to the tribe, she would accomplish what she had set out to do.

Despite the slight sense of embarrassment, Lorelei didn't seem overly phased where she stood. Her large, winged figure still standing tall. It was clear that the woman still thought it important to take note of the way she presented herself, not wanting to seem as though she was loosing her spark. No, that wasn't about to happen. The woman was too similar to a wildfire to allow herself to burn out. It seemed she was fully at home in her current location, standing at the base of the pyramid the tribe called their home. Though, it didn't seem others within the tribe felt as comfortable within a desert setting. Something Lorelei would be forced to consider in the near future.

"Guys, I need ya here for a meetin'!" After a reasonably long break from meetings like this, other leaders may have chosen to use a more formal phrase to gather their group. However, it wasn't particularly in Lorelei's personality to follow what these other leaders would do. Not a particular fan of formalities, mainly due to herself wanting to seem as relatable as other regular members of the tribe (to an extent at least). Making herself sound overly formal just seemed to remove this aspect from her.

"Meetings are goin' to be held every Saturday from now on, though I might hold more meetings before then. There will be a separate meetin' regardin' promotions this week." Why was this? Well, it seemed as though it would be the easiest way of figuring out who she would like to promote rather than rushing into things. Lorelei had a few ideas regarding the topic, though it seemed further thought would have to be put into each choice. The candidates in mind would have to be active, something that Lorelei was determined to focus upon more with the upcoming future. "High position meetings will also be happenin' more often, so make sure you guys look out for 'em." Communication would be important, so this seemed as though it would be a good way of handling this. Along with that, Lorelei seemed to hope that this would encourage high positions to provide ideas and help for the tribe.

A brief pause would then be provided, allowing Lorelei time to think about what should be focused upon next along with allowing her to glance around the desolate surroundings. Sounds filling her system for a short moment, before she would allow herself to begin talking once more. "Right now, activity is a huge issue. Any high positions that don't show up before this meetin' is dismissed will be demoted. I have to focus on making sure those of you that need to be around — including myself — are around as often as possible" it was clear that the woman did hope her words sounded fair to her audience. It wasn't as though Lorelei hadn't wanted herself to also become more active in the future, after all.

Already the meeting seemed as though it had gone on for a particularly long time, though there was still plenty more that needed to be said. So, the vulture would sit and wait to view the tribe's reaction.

[justify]I would like to work on the tribe's activity and also help to make the tribe a more interesting place to roleplay. In order to try and accomplish this, I would like to see some of the ideas that you guys have in order to create events or general ideas that you think could be included somewhere within the tribe.

    Current ideas:

    01. Possibly including a religion within the group. This isn't something I see done often nowadays, so it could be interesting. One way this could go is through having around four entities, with one being above the others. They would each stand for different things (e.g. power, love...). This would be something I believe a lot of planning would have to be put into, but it could be useful and interesting regarding plot development.

    02. Creating an event that the tribe would hold annually. This could be a competition the group holds to try and work on things such as teamwork. Points could be earned for doing things for the tribe (e.g. holding events for the tribe, giving ideas...) whilst points could be deducted from the team for doing things against the tribe (e.g. raiding an ally, attempting to cheat in the competition...). Could be somewhat similar to Smosh Winter/Summer games whilst being easy to understand for those that haven't seen the series. This idea will likely be taking place if enough support is shown for it.

    03. Possible changes within the rank system, though I personally do like the simplicity the existing ranking system provides.

[fancypost borderwidth=0; text-align: justify;]Viewing the three that were in attendance, the vulture would allow herself to huff slightly. Maybe she had expected too much, though the woman clearly hadn't thought this was the case at the time. It seemed that she was most sad over the fact that Magnolia still hadn't arrived. Being the only other creature that was in a position of power, Lorelei had been hoping that she wouldn't have to demote the young woman. Though, it seemed as though she had been given more than enough time to attend the meeting.

"Meetin' dismissed, I'll explain things more in the next meetin'. Maggie, yer demoted." Her wings would shrug in a nonchalant fashion, under the impression that if Magnolia really cared about her rank she could easily earn it back. Though, it was just that. A rank. Hopefully, if Magnolia was still around, the girl wouldn't allow something so simple define her. Still, some did just that. Allowing themselves to become beaten down over a title. An expectation to go out of your way in order to benefit the tribe, more so than a regular member usually would. It was all something Lorelei wasn't overly understanding of, though this likely wasn't helped by her upbringing. Groups of this nature were still confusing to her in areas, though the woman liked to think that she was blending into the tribe well at this point.

Lorelei would take a second to think of anything she may have missed, glancing at each face for a short period of time. Eventually, the vulture would simply turn on her heels and begin walking toward the pyramid her tribe called 'home'. Wondering over what the tribe's reaction would be over the recent events, though she didn't seem to get overly caught up in the idea.
