[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]Swooping toward the scene, Egretstar's one working ocular would focus upon the male. A lack of trust showing on her features, though this wasn't overly different to how she would act in regards to strangers on their land. In fact, this didn't end at strangers. Malakai was probably a good example of someone she should have trusted but clearly didn't. He still had the freedom of going onto their land whenever he pleased, after all. Still, at least he'd given her some reasoning behind her distrust. Whitefur, on the other hand, hadn't done anything like that quite yet. Aside from trespassing, which the feline had already explained in a calm manner.

"Egretstar, leader 'ere." Southern accented words were in the form of a mumble, accompanied by a nod of her head. An attempt to show respect, due to the fact that he could be joining their ranks. "I could show ya around, but it'll probably be easier with someone else as well." Why did she want at least one other HawkClanner beside her? Protection, more than anything. Not having the best health for the possibility of a fight, regardless of how courteous Whitefur seemed.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]SirenClan.

It seemed pointless that they even considered one another as allies, which was Egretstar's reasoning for being here. To put an end to their alliance, hopefully in a civil manner. After all, HawkClan had enough issues in regards to alliances as it was. The Blackheart Rogues being enough to deal with without another group joining the issues. Still, The Blackhearts were supposed to have had a closer alliance than SirenClan. Not only that, but the situation was much more complicated in comparison with a simple lack of communication.

Questioning whether she should have brought someone with her, the vulture would settle herself behind the border. Taking in a breath and doing what she could to make herself comfortable. A single working ocular surveying the area and taking in any detail she was capable of picking up on.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]OOC | I'm in the middle of working on the new guide. It's 1:50 in the morning here. That being said, any aid you guys can give me in increasing activity here would be greatly appreciated! Whilst we no longer have to reach the monthly quota, I'm still really worried about how much activity has dropped recently. I'm, once again, sorry for my inactivity. It's something I'll be trying to work on, though I do have a few things that I need to prioritise unfortunately.

Sorry that the last meeting wasn't finished, but I feel as though it is much more important to make sure that this one is on time. I'm going to go back to making sure that these are done in one go, to avoid issues like this forming again.

IC | HawkClan was going downhill, fast. Perhaps this was at the fault of the vulture herself, or perhaps this was down to the members occupying this group. Whatever it was, they'd have to solve the issue. Egretstar had managed to dig them out of low activity once in the past, so hopefully experience would aid her this time around. Still, the situation had a sour taste to it. ShadowClan had stopped for the time being, so why weren't things improving?

    "HawkClan!"

Voice holding a gruff tone, the vulture would call her clan. A single working ocular narrowed as she stared down at the area where NPCs would begin to gather. Wondering how she'd managed to get to the point where she was leading strangers. Questioning the point in continuing, though she knew quitting wasn't a good option in the slightest. No, she had to build HawkClan up again or watch it go up in smoke. For this, the woman envied those that had left. Not being forced to stay within a sinking ship, with the freedom to go wherever their hearts desired.

"Quickstart and Quantum are demoted. Neither of you picked up the activity." Both were long lasting members of the community. It didn't seem right to be demoting either party. Still, Quickstart had to be leading by example. Something he hadn't been doing for a while now. At least both had been given ample opportunity to increase their activity before their demotions. Who did that leave? Herself, Blackjack, Travelpassion and Splitsecond. Not the largest group, unfortunately. Still, there was potential. That was, if activity could improve.

"I'm makin' a boot camp." It sounded much more likely for an anti-clan to do, but something needed to be done. "Everyone has to go, but there'll be stuff put in place for different age groups. Training in healing and fightin', along with some other lessons an' whatever." Hopefully, someone would be willing to help Egretstar with this. After all, the vulture was far from an expert when it came to healing. This boot camp would likely have links to the competition, but right now the vulture's thoughts didn't stray to that of the competition being held.

"I'm goin' to recap our foreign affairs because there have been changes to it all." This was something the woman didn't sound particularly enthusiastic over, though truth be told Egretstar hadn't shown any particular enthusiasm throughout the course of the meeting. This, however, was a particularly frustrating topic. "The Blackheart Rogues are on a trial period. There have been a large amount of issues with them, which I'm not dealing with. We will treat them as allies, but if anymore issues strike up I'm dropping them to neutrals." Did that seem fair? This question should have probably been something she was more concerned over, but it wasn't. Instead, Malakai was the main focus of her thoughts. Someone she didn't want to deal with anymore, though it didn't seem as though she had a choice for the time being. "Our allies are RadicalClan, BlizzardClan, RiverClan, SkyClan and ThunderClan. Enemies are ShadowClan, ScarClan, ColouredClan and the Exiles." Whilst she still hadn't sorted everything out, it seemed as though this list was close to the final line up.

Staring at the group below her, the vulture would finish talking. Preparing herself for the reaction she could receive, though the meeting had hardly been interesting. It seemed as though the only thing particularly different was the boot camp.

Alright, I've come up with a few ideas. These don't all have to be used, of course.

    1. StarClan becoming a large issue for the clan. StarClan is already seen as an issue from the omen Egretstar had received, telling them that they had to move. This could then snowball, eventually beginning to develop a hatred for the group. Of course, this plot would require a lot of work and would last quite a long time (seeing as HawkClan only became a pro-clan recently).

    2. Tribal markings, as described earlier within the thread. This could accompany the introduction of tribe like mannerisms. This would create a mix between a tribal lifestyle and a clan lifestyle, which would make sense after the merge with ToAS.

    3. Groups could be implemented into everyday life. Could also link in with the tribal markings, if both plots were to go ahead. Each group would have a particular colour, which would be used for the markings. There would be a head for each group, chosen from respectable members of the clan (not exclusive to S/HPs).

Please invite allies and post the link here! Please make sure you are referring to the list of allies given out during the latest meeting, as I'm currently working on reworking the guide.

Groups that have been invited: StellarClan

For those that are participating in the competition, points will be given out for this. Any character that has participated in at least one event will earn 10 points (please leave proof when asking for points to be given). Those that have participated in all events they are capable of joining (again, please provide proof) will earn 50 points. Events may also include available points, so please make sure you check out the first post in all of these threads if you are interested!

Those from allied groups will be sorted into teams randomly if the activity requires teams. Keep in mind that some activities may require smaller groups (that will be chosen randomly) or for teams to mix. This is an attempt to keep everyone working together to the best of their abilities.

    "HawkClan!"

Addressing the clan again so soon seemed odd, but this was to be expected. After all, Egretstar had promised this. Hopefully, it would be worth her time. After all, it wasn't going to be particularly easy to manage. What was the main aim? To get her members doing something productive. To get them ready for future combat, though the possibility of this had seemed to decrease recently. It wasn't something they could forget about, though. Otherwise, being caught off guard could lead to a particularly awful situation. This would be useful knowledge regardless of when it would have to be implemented, hopefully.

"We're havin' a boot camp. I want everyone to join in, even if you're just watchin'." It would be particularly insensitive to expect everyone to be capable of participation in these events. Some had physical disabilities, which was just one of the plenty issues that could show up. Watching would still provide helpful tips though, or at least this was the intention. "Invite allies." This was a somewhat simple request. Hopefully, these groups would appreciate the gesture.

All of my muse has been stolen by Wisteriatail and I really don't know what to do about Eg.

I don't want her to step down because I know that the clan will be left in a really bad position o3o I need to try and find a way to increase my muse for her though...

    "Name an' business."

Blunt, cold words would leave the vulture. Why was she speaking in such a way? Word had finally reached her of the disappearance of several of those she had known. Athena... Peter. Grief struck her beyond anything else she had gone through during her life. It didn't seem right. It seemed impossible for someone who had made such a great impact on her life to now be absent from it all together. Whilst she wanted to deny the unbearable waves of emotion that rushed through her veins, the way she was acting was enough to give the situation away. At least, it was to those that knew her. However, Ina was a stranger. Someone who would have to deal with someone they hadn't met taking out their emotions in the form of words.

Of course, the question was one that was required. Something those that joined clans would be taught relatively quickly. Something so simple, yet she would have usually deviated from the question. At least, in it's basic form. It was made quite apparent that the vulture wasn't feeling up to this today, though. So, she would stick to what she had been taught.

OOC | Sorry for the long wait again! I've been trying to work on my muse for Egretstar for a while now, so hopefully I'll get to a point where I can pick up on everything again. I'm going to start picking up on things that might need doing, though hopefully at one point I'll be able to get quite a few of them out of the way at once.

Also, a warning that I now have a job! I won't be around too much on the weekend for this reason, as the induction will take up most of the day on both occasions. I might update you guys on when I'm not going to be around, but it hopefully won't get in the way of too much. I'll also try and schedule weekly meetings for one of my days off :^)

IC | Several suggestions would reach the vulture, causing her to pause for a moment. Taking in what each of her members was saying along with attempting to recollect her thoughts. Understanding that now, a lot of the clan's high positions were absent. Leaving her a slight mess that would have to be sorted out as soon as it could be. After all, this high position system was in place for a reason. Without it, the clan would be left in turmoil. Still, the clan still contained it's main assets. A leader, along with someone occupying the medical ranks. Though, Splitsecond hadn't been able to gain too much training before those expected to train her had became absent. Perhaps it was something that would change in the near future, but for now, it was still an issue.

"Splitsecond, I'm going to give you the option of either stepping up as the clan's deputy or the clan's Apothecary. If you choose to become an Apothecary, I want you ta go to an ally for more trainin'. I can help you organise somewhere."

Either option would likely be helpful for the clan in it's current position. Splitsecond was particularly helpful, so she seemed like a good option as the clan's deputy. HawkClan also required an Apothecary, though. If Splitsecond was to step up as deputy, she'd still likely end up training whoever would next step into the rank. This would likely also have to involve another group, considering Splitsecond's lack of time within the field. In the best case scenario, Splitsecond would have a grasp on basic herbal knowledge.

Moving on to what had been brought up by those around her, the vulture would do her best to focus on singular comments. Hoping that, eventually, everything mentioned would link together. Creating a plan of sorts. "We could try a member exchange, but I don't want ta loose too many members. It'd be counter productive. I might see if RadicalClan would be up for one, though." Not only would this be a good excuse to try and improve relations between themselves and their neighbors, but it would also be a good excuse to send Splitsecond somewhere to further her education.

"Can ya sort out the herb trainin' sessions?"

Facing Splitsecond, the woman would offer her a slight nod. "Gifts should've been taken care of fer everyone, but events would be good."

The boot camp master post can be found here. It is suggested that you check this thread prior to posting, though there will be an explanation for this event provided.

For those participating in the tornament, points will be made available. All of those participating are able to claim 20 points, whilst the winning character can claim 100 points. Please make sure you claim these points in the tournament masterpost, or they may not count!

A badge may also be made for the winner of this event.

    Explaination

Please make sure you read this thoroughly prior to posting. Questions can either be asked in this thread or sent via PM to Katya (please don't PM me via my sub-account, as I don't tend to check it as frequently). Keep in mind that posts may not count toward your total unless they involve in character text.

Characters will be sorted into teams of three and must then work together to get through the assault course. After your characters have been paired together, all members must make at least three posts of 100 words or more. Throughout this assault course, there will be different obstacles that the team must have to overcome.

NPC HawkClan members will outline the assault course's path along with acting as lifeguards in the swimming section of the course.

    Obstacles:
    1. Tree stumps that participants must weave through.
    2. Swimming through a river found within the middle of the territory.
    3. Crabs being controlled by NPCs via telepathy.
Each member must catch at least one crab in order for the group to win.

Egretstar herself would not be participating in the event. Instead, she would be left to organise teams. Alongside this, the vulture would be watching the event from the air. Ensuring that those helping her would be dealing with anyone who stepped out of line. More importantly, ensuring that nobody got hurt. Hopefully, everyone would prioritise their health over winning a simple event.

Having already informed everyone interested in participating of where to meet her, the vulture would wait. Silent, with her single working ocular focusing upon the course not far from where she was.

I'm very interested in starting up a few new plots for Egretstar, so I thought this would be an interesting concept to start with. This will not be first come first served, but I would like a thread with all of those who apply. This will be to figure out which character I think would be best suited to the plot. When applying, please link me a private thread for them both (this can be in HawkClan's board or the board for your character's clan) :^)

This marriage would strike up in an attempt for the duo to improve clan relations (meaning that any group could work, though allies or enemies would likely work best). The two would get married, with a large amount of their interaction starting as business conversations. Eventually, the plot could split off in one of two possible directions. The first being that things turn sour in the relationship, resulting in blackmail on one or both sides. Divorce would still be a last resort, particularly due to this blackmail. The second option being that the two forge a genuine relationship together. Falling for one another. Children could come out of the relationship regardless of how the plot develops over time, though I will be picky in regards to whether this happens.

There is no form. Simply include your character along with any information you feel is important (such as their clan, ranking and relations).

Why was ShadowClan picking up this pointless feud again? Particularly after the poor outcome (on ShadowClan's side) of the raids they had engaged in with HawkClan in the past? Not that ShadowClan seemed willing to accept this, even with one of the raid leaders having lost a life by her own hand.

Perhaps if this had happened around Radioactiveplague's reign, Egretstar would have been more understanding of the situation. However, ShadowClan was still willing to pick up something so pointless after two changes in leadership. Was this simply because HawkClan had proven that they would fight back? That allies would be involved if the situation called for such a move? Apparently so. Still, why wasn't ShadowClan attacking an enemy that had wronged them much more than HawkClan had? RiverClan, for example. Radioactiveplague and Athena had made the feud between both groups very much apparent through leader's gatherings. Whereas this issue had started with a raid sent without reasoning. A desperation to cause havoc, though ShadowClan always seemed to expect the groups they were targeting to take the hits. To allow this group to walk over them, rather than choosing to fight back.

Nuclearwinter was in her blind spot, along with her adopted daughter. Had she been capable of witnessing the capture of Goosekit, the vulture would have prioritised this over the raid in front of her. Unaware of the ShadowClan member's intentions. The noise around her would become inaudible for the most part. Several creatures speaking at once. The sounds of multiple creatures moving at a fast pace. Heart pounding in such a way that sounds seemed to be prioritised within her mind instead of the screaming before her.

Twinskeletons seemed to be the first creature Egretstar found herself focusing upon. Without giving herself enough time to rethink her instinct, the woman would dart toward the new ShadowClan leader. Wings folded, allowing the woman to move at a fast rate. Talons angled toward Twinskeletons, attempting to grab onto any flesh they were capable of reaching.

    "Tadashi...?"

His name was caught within her throat. What did this mean for Athena's leadership? More importantly, why had nobody told them of the change? At least there was communication regarding this leadership change, but Athena had been so vital to Egretstar regarding the group. Athena had followed a similar mindset to herself, from everything she had witnessed from the canine. Alongside this, the woman had also gone through plenty of issues with ShadowClan. Whilst RiverClan were still likely in the line of fire, it definitely felt as though Athena's personal experience was important to the cause.

    "What happened to Athena?"

Eventually, the one question on her mind would leave the vulture. A single working ocular narrowing as thoughts began to flood through her mind. HawkClan had lost members quite a lot recently, so it didn't seem likely for the woman to have stepped down. Whilst it was still a possibility, Egretstar seemed particularly sceptical regarding the option. Still, she did hope that this was the case.

Egretstar was unable to offer a thank you. Mind running far too quickly for the avian to focus on the positive. Gifts didn't make up for nobody informing them regarding something so vital. Even if it wasn't Hana's fault in particular.
