    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"HawkClan didn't fail."

Instead of fuelling the fire further than that, Egretstar would choose to leave her comment at that. A defiant remark that showed how the leader was going to stand by what they had done. A remark that showcased the fact that Egretstar honestly didn't feel as though they had failed. HawkClan had clearly aggravated ShadowClan, though this hadn't been their main goal. Instead, they'd simply wanted to stand up for themselves. To show that they wouldn't be pushed around. Had they achieved this? Yes. Therefore, they hadn't failed. ShadowClan had heard their message loud and clear, otherwise they wouldn't have claimed free reign on HawkClan along with two other pro-clans that had helped them out. Still, it was good that RadicalClan hadn't also been targeted. Peter had aided HawkClan in their raid, but this must have been something that Radioactiveplague had missed.

Once the conversation moved on to the topic of WindClan, Egretstar would stay silent. Listening to Radioactiveplague and thinking about how she would respond. Not wanting to discuss her own experience with the group for the time being, particularly after the argument that had just occurred.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]BloodClan.

Aside from them participating in the raid HawkClan had held against ShadowClan -- in an attempt to help defend ShadowClan -- the vulture didn't know too much about the group. Egretstar attempted to forge an alliance with the group back when the woman had first became the leader of the Tribe of Ancient Stones, but aside from this there had been a lack of exposure to the group.

Why was the woman so close to their territory, then?

Wanderlust had struck her once more, causing the leader to leave her home for a while. Wondering aimlessly, with no real goals in sight. Eventually, she'd end up here. A lack of enthusiasm for being so close to an enemies land proven in her behaviour. Though she was outside of the groups border, the vulture was quiet. Moving as though she was stalking prey -- though she'd usually be airborne for this.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"A rebellion? Why, what happened?!"

HawkClan wasn't in a particularly good position for involving themselves in further conflict. Still, a choice couldn't be made until further information was granted on the situation. It helped that ShadowClan hadn't been too active against them lately, opening up opportunities for the group to use this break to their advantage. Opening up HawkClan's armies to other endeavours, though risks were much more important during this time. Long lasting conflicts could cross paths with their issues against ShadowClan, making fighting much harder. Still, it seemed HawkClan had a solid support mechanism in place. A lot of other pro-clans siding with HawkClan and offering their aid. If things did cross over, allies would be a huge asset. Also, there was a large possibility that Egretstar would be able to use HawkClan's aid in the situation to get SirenClan to fight with them against ShadowClan.

Settling down in front of the visiting SirenClanner, Egretstar would allow a single working ocular to focus upon the organism. Curious, with concern showing on the avian's features.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Thank you!

I think both options would be adorable, but it'd probably just depend on how the two of them felt in character more than anything. I think their relationship would actually be pretty great, particularly with both clans being pretty close right now!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Sorry for the slight inactivity lately! I've been doing a lot lately, along with not having a lot of muse for Eg lately. I've also been getting migraines lately, which isn't really going to be helped by me going on my laptop all the time.

More likely than not, I'll be ordering some tinted glasses to try and help me out with this (not just for use on the site, but for the fact that I quite commonly use my laptop and phone). They reduce the amount of blue light reaching your eyes, for those of you that don't know, which is also supposed to help you sleep better.

Thanks for your understanding, guys! I'll be trying to get the meeting for this week up as soon as possible, along with posting with Eg more here!

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Peter!"

Swooping toward the scene, the vulture would land somewhat close to the other leader. This was one of the few visitors the woman was actually happy to see. Most others brought bad news with them, or were the bad news themselves. Allies weren't seen very commonly, though this was somewhat understandable. After all, the last time she'd visited anyone had been when she'd visited the Blackheart Rogues. A visit that hadn't been particularly positive, though there was no doubt in the vulture's mind that such a visit was required.

"Thanks for the gifts, I'm glad you guys are alright."

It still seemed as though RadicalClan hadn't had the same issues with ShadowClan that HawkClan had been receiving in the past. Perhaps Peter had completely slipped under the radar in HawkClan's raid against the group? Still, ShadowClan hadn't yet made the retaliation Egretstar had predicted. Though, perhaps this was simply a plan. Not that the group seemed that well versed in planning.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"If you were to go, ShadowClan could assume that you guys are taking sides. It's up to you, but I'd honestly advise against going..."

Choosing an approach that would prove her support in Spiderstar's choice, Egretstar would simply give her honest opinion on the matter. ShadowClan's members were quite well known for making assumptions. It didn't seem as though Spiderstar wanted StormClan to be on the receiving end of this -- understandably -- thus attendance was risking exactly what the oriental was attempting to avoid. Not only that, but straight up telling the woman that she wouldn't be allowed to attend seemed wrong. Particularly considering just how much the vulture wanted to forge an alliance with the group. Not that this seemed likely during the current issue.

"Still, I'm happy to help ya out. If yer interested, anyway."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Egretstar hadn't been around as much as she had wanted to be. Particularly during the clan's current condition, though she'd been working on foreign affairs that would hopefully aid them. RadicalClan was still close, it seemed as though the Blackheart Rogues were going to be dropped as allies in the near future and there had been a pro-clan gathering. If ShadowClan were going to persist with the fighting, they'd have quite a few groups against them at this point. Still, HawkClan couldn't just count on allies alone. They'd have to strengthen themselves, which seemed more important than it had done in the past. Activity had slipped, particularly with the high positions. It also seemed as though the member count had decreased. Something that would have to be worked on as a top priority.

    "HawkClan!"

There was no point in adding anything else to her introduction to the meeting. A single word demanded just as much attention as a sentence. Throat still sore, it also made sense to make things as straight forward as possible for herself. "First of all, activity. I want you guys to try and pick up on things, all of you. Myself included." It wasn't that she hadn't had any reasoning behind her drop in activity, but it was still not enough of an excuse. Leaders had to be easily accessible, Egretstar was aware of this. "High positions, I definitely need you guys to pick it up. Talk to me if you have any questions as well, or jus' need somethin'."

"Twilighttown, yer demoted*. Quickfire, yer on probation. I'm sorry, but as a deputy I need ya around more." It felt bad to put such a long time member on probation, but there was no point in letting the deputy off lightly. HawkClan needed active high positions, as did any group. "I need someone ta hold a patrol for all of the high positions that have gone missing lately." (*in regards to this thread) Yes, Egretstar had said in the past that she would be holding these patrols. Now, it seemed like a bad idea to lead said patrols. Someone else would likely be much better at leading them whilst the avian was ill, though it wasn't as though Egretstar wouldn't be joining them.

Pausing to allow members to listen to what had been said, Egretstar would choose to separate the meeting into multiple sections. Needing a break to try and recollect her thoughts, whilst also attempting to make herself more comfortable. It seemed somewhat clear that the vulture didn't feel her best, though she was doing what she could to avoid thinking about the subject. Not that this was simple.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"What do you have to say about the StormClan war, then? I've heard about you capturing Spiderstar. I trust her..." Could she say the same for Malakai? No, unfortunately not. A lack of communication on both a personal and professional standpoint left Egretstar without any kind of connection with the large being. "Why would someone make rumours that vivid? Surely they'd be much more vague." If someone in either StormClan or RiverClan was to make such descriptive rumours, it was clear that they would be the next creature on Egretstar's 'hit list' (not that it was likely for the vulture to be killing anyone currently).

"I'd suggest a trial period. Peter doesn't have ta do the same, but I'm not willin' to trust you lot right now." HawkClan had far too many issues as it was, this group didn't seem to be aiding them in the slightest. Still, Egretstar was somewhat willing to try and find a solution. More so for Peter's sake than anyone else. "Communication has been a huge issue, clearly. Its a good idea, but it's a starting point." Discomfort visible, the vulture would continue to leave herself with her wings spread across the ground below her. A single working ocular now focused upon Malakai, distaste for the male very much clear. Maybe it was something she should have worked on hiding, but right now that didn't seem important. After all, honesty was one of the things that the vulture was looking for currently.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Peter's already said what I was about to point out, memories can be manipulated. A lot of us don't have all of these powers, as well. Spiderstar never denied that lives were lost on both sides, but she did say that the way you treated her throughout her capture wasn't how you're making it out to be."

Would Spiderstar lie about such a thing? It didn't seem likely for such a woman to do so, whilst several different sources had already shown that Malakai likely wasn't the leader many were hoping he would be. Perhaps they were asking for too much? Common communication, reassurance that things were going to be alright and above all someone that they felt they could trust. Malakai still hadn't responded to the situation with ShadowClan, a striking reason toward Egretstar's lack of trust for the man.

"Have you even heard about what happened between us and ShadowClan, for StarClan's sake? We sent over a raid invite after issues we'd been having with them and I didn't even receive a response!" At this moment, Egretstar's vision would focus upon Peter once more. His words seemed fair, more so than her own. Though, it also seemed as though she was much more passionate about the issue in comparison with Peter. Soft spoken, though perhaps this was simply something that Egretstar should have come to expect more often. This was good, in a way. Peter was much better at communicating concerns whilst Egretstar would help to better display the importance of the situations mentioned.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Truth or dare?

Moving toward the scene, the vulture found herself setting down a small distance from the rest of the group. Body somewhat close to the ground, a single working ocular narrowing as she tried to view those gathered around her. Had Blackjack's response not been so personal, perhaps Egretstar would have made a joke. Something light hearted about the man having a crush on Twilighttown, though looking back on things perhaps it was better that she hadn't been given the chance. Twilighttown still hadn't shown her face, which concerned her. Perhaps the vulpine had simply moved on somewhere else? After all, she'd never seemed too fond of the group or any of it's members. With the distance Egretstar felt between her own members, the leader didn't blame her. Not that it seemed likely for her to flee the scene anytime soon.

Blackjack would be choosing a dare for Bitterblue. Interesting. Bitterblue hadn't seemed likely to choose 'dare' out of the two options she'd been given. Still, perhaps the feline had more guts than the vulture was giving her credit for. It seemed that way, at least.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Activity has gone down a lot again lately (at least, from what I've seen) so I think now would be a good time for some more plots. Just know that I'm not blaming low activity on anyone in particular, though I'm sure I haven't been great at contributing to activity recently due to several reasons.

    Some suggestions:

      [li]Something to do with StarClan.[/li]
[li]Something to do with either the newfound issues with the Blackheart Rogues or the 'war' with ShadowClan. Plots could also come from alliances, or relationships with groups in general.[/li]
[li]Plots between particular characters that could spark into something affecting the whole clan.[/li]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]OOC | Sorry it took me so long to get to this!

IC | It was unfortunate that Peter was her closest friend. Purely due to the distance she had caused through leaving RadicalClan, though moving had made this much less of an issue. Still, who else did she have aside from the other leader? Athena, Spiderstar and herself were on somewhat good terms. All three being semi/traditional clan leaders believing in StarClan. Could she call either friends? No, Egretstar hadn't really had enough chance to talk to either creature in private. Perhaps if she had, both would become friends to her. When it came to members of HawkClan though, it seemed the vulture was even further from those she lead. Perhaps it was of her own fault, perhaps it was on the side of those around her. Still, Egretstar likely came of as a grump. Such was understandable, especially with recent drama fuelling the fire. Leaders had to be tough, unless they wanted to be swept away within a heartbeat. Such had proved itself in the past and would continue to do so throughout the future.

"So how's all the moving stuff going?"

Listening to Peter's question would pull the woman back to reality. Moving hadn't been the main focus in her mind currently, though it probably should have been much more of a priority to her. Drama had overrun her life though, which she'd simply have to wait out. "It's been alright... We've lost a few of our high positions though..." Voicing that issue formed a lump in the woman's throat. Two high positions had either left them or gone missing in action. Unable to think of anything else to add to such an admission, Egretstar would simply allow a single working ocular to focus on the goat. Praying for some kind of reassurance.

I don't think I'd be very comfortable with that kind of plot right now, particularly in regards to making changes to Eg's personality. Also, its something that has been used quite a lot recently. For example, the same plot is happening at the moment in DarkClan.

I think since we already did something with StarClan, then we shouldn't continue to use it too much. Or maybe, since HawkClan did what SC asked of them, then they could get rewarded somehow?

    x
I personally thought it would be good to use as religion isn't focused on as much now. Also, I personally really like having the reasoning for why HawkClan is currently a pro-clan.

I like the idea of some kind of reward, though I'm not too sure as to what that reward could be. Perhaps prey and herbs could become more abundant for a while? It would also make a fair amount of sense, considering the summer time would aid plant growth. Those that live in the group would just assume this is StarClan's doing.

We don't have to go with this in particular though!

I think you have a point, though I'm not too sure as to how we could accomplish this without making drastic changes to what the group is. Perhaps we could look into HawkClan's history and try to do something relating to this? I always love using a groups history to develop their current lifestyles, but it's up to what you guys want to see :^)

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify]I feel like another mass adoption thread is due, considering the slight drop in activity. [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]HawkClan's current alliances were not in the best state. The Blackheart Rogues had been put on a trial period, after a series of mistakes on their side. Many of the groups they were supposedly 'allies' with hadn't communicated with them in quite a while. Something would have to be done about the whole situation, before more drama was sparked with their enemies. Something the vulture had expected for quite a while, though she had to remind herself that there was still a chance that something could end up going down.

"HawkClan! We're sortin' out allies and sendin' out gift baskets!" This did, unfortunately, mean that she'd be stuck traveling quite a bit. Still, it wasn't something that the vulture could avoid right now. "You can suggest possible allies, but I already have a few ideas." Along with this, the vulture was already aware of at least one group that she'd be dropping down to neutrals. Nothing had been heard from SirenClan in a long time, in fact Egretstar had forgotten about their alliance for quite a while. It seemed as though there was a possibility of them having dropped of the map, but it was worth checking.

Groups requiring gifts: RadicalClan, The Blackheart Rogues*, CloverClan*, RiverClan, SkyClan*, StellarClan, ThunderClan and BlizzardClan.

Don't send them out if you know the group has been given gifts very recently (in the past two weeks or so). Please make sure you tell me if they have been visited recently, please!

*Already been handled, thread hasn't been made yet.

That could work, particularly considering the merge with the ToAS back when Egretstar first joined the group. Perhaps we could incorporate the team system in some way, as the competition seems to not be working overly well once again. I still want something like that around, I just don't think it's getting enough attention for it to run well.

Perhaps we could bring back the markings based on a character's development? I can't remember whether it has been done here in the past, but I know that it was something that tribes tended to do quite a bit. Badges were made for a certain group relating to this, though I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I could try and do something similar, though I don't have a good design idea in my head right now.

We could also do something linking back to birds and feathers, though again I don't have much in mind right now.

No problem, thank you for the suggestion!

I do like some of the plots that have come about from it, I just don't think it's something I'm interested in right now :^)

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]Eating an egg? Something about the dare did offend the woman, though she'd simply be thankful that she hadn't laid any eggs recently. If she had, the vulture would have been much quicker to defend her unborn children. Though, perhaps if she'd been desperate for food she would have ate one herself. It wasn't the kind of thing she would have done for the sake of a dare though, all things considered.

    "Well..."

What else was she supposed to say? Unable to think of a comprehendible sentence, Egretstar would simply mumble something to show how she'd taken the situation. Doing what she could to then ignore what had happened, Egretstar would then turn her attention to Kakima. Hoping that whatever she had to do, whether she chose truth or dare, would be a little more tame.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 11pt;]OOC | Sorry, I hadn't realised that it was my turn owo

IC | "Aurorapaw, you can be on my team."

Not knowing the apprentice, the vulture did hope that she could change this. Isabelle was also someone she didn't know well, so perhaps this would be a running theme throughout her group. This was a large reason as to why this competition was being held in the first place, so Egretstar couldn't complain. It would be nice to get closer to some of her clanmates.
