[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Nodding, the vulture would do her best to stay calm. Shaking ever so slightly, though the vulture would decide this by moving her wings as though she was attempting to make herself more comfortable. "Peter an' I will talk about it... I have a feelin' that HawkClan'll be offerin' a lot of help if all of this is true." It wasn't an issue with Egretstar doubting the other pro-clan leaders, but simply with the fact that she couldn't make a choice before both herself and Peter paid them a visit. This visit being more so for Peter's benefit -- as the goat would be much more likely to want a trial -- but important for the both of them none the less. "From the sounds of things though, Malakai and whomever attacked RiverClan's kid should be made targets. Not other members of the group, unless they're proven to be involved." It didn't seem as though there would be many others that would be harmed, but if she was helping them out then perhaps it was worth saying something.

Egretstar, too, would snort at Radioactiveplague's comment regarding the war he'd started. "Athena makes a great point." Spiderstar was stuck between both sides of the fighting. An issue, particularly as Spiderstar seemed like a big figure head in regards to the pro-clans left. Of course, Egretstar did respect that she'd have to put StormClan before anyone else. Still, was what she was doing what StarClan would have wanted? Or would they have wanted her to fight for the remaining pro-clans? "That's understandable, Spiderstar.... Still, the anti-clans seem to be targeting pro-clans. Without reason, usually. Be careful, please." Egretstar would happily offer her assistance if anti-clans turned on the group, but for now a warning would have to be enough.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Hey Egretstar, it's Athena. Careful with what you say here, I suspect that RiverClan has a ShadowClan spy in our upper ranks."

In response to Athena's telepathic words, Egretstar would dip her head to the canine. A movement that wouldn't give away the woman's words, whilst still allowing the leader to show her acknowledgement. A traitor in high ranks was something the vulture had not thought about prior, so it was definitely something to take into consideration. "Athena holds a good point." Her words in regards to the lack of pro-clans were something that would stick in the female's mind. Thankful for the other leader now backing up her own words slightly. Athena clearly knew what she was on about, after all.

"HawkClan's intentions were never to destroy ShadowClan, but simply to protect ourselves. Ourselves not just being HawkClan, but other pro-clans in general." ThunderClan's proposition did interest her, but the idea of doing what had happened to themselves not long ago seemed wrong. Someone had already attacked their territory and forced HawkClan to move, doing that to another group would make them just as bad. Children would be involved, likely hurt. Not that ShadowClan seemed worried about this, after children had been sighted in warzones, but that wouldn't put an end to Egretstar's own worries. "Whilst I understand where ya coming from, HawkClan isn't in a position to stop fightin' back. Allies are bein' involved on both sides, with ThunderClan already clearly being harmed. Pro-clans are a minority, if we sit back idly we'll be wiped out." Clearly, the vulture was a strong believer in her own words. After ShadowClan's second raid against them, Egretstar had truly felt as though they had no other options. Aside from fighting back, which had brought them all here. Discussing the possibility of war and what could happen to them all in the future. Discussing the possibility of being wiped out.

"HawkClan won't be attacking ShadowClan's territory, though. We'll happily offer our assistance, but there is much more risk in regards to harming minors in your plan. HawkClan has had to move territories recently due to attacks against us, I wouldn't wish the same on some of the members that shouldn't be involved." After all, not all ShadowClanners would be guilty in the same ways that Radioactiveplague was. Or Yuri, as another good example. "I'd be much happier targeting problematic members, which usually happens in raids. Those interested in fighting show up, preventing those too young to fight most of the time." Those not preventing children from fighting were disgusting, to her at least. Not worthy of leadership by any means. Not knowing that they were involved being different entirely, but actively allowing them to step into a warzone was dreadful.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Radioactiveplague lacked chivalry. Of course, they were enemies. Still, his words to Spiderstar provoked her much more than the words aimed toward herself could. "I know we're enemies..." Sharp, yet not particularly loud, words would be spoken. Coated heavily in a southern accent, with the vulture's one working ocular darting to Peter. Wondering as to how he would handle the situation, though she trusted her friend to make better choices in comparison with herself. He was making good points against the ShadowClan leader, thankfully. A smile would have been sent his way, but the vulture would simply settle for a nod of her head to her friend. "I was simply making a point of how many pro-clans you and your buddies have been attacking. That's allowed, no? After all, it was your choice. Your allies would find out about it soon enough, anyway." That was, unless information was hidden from them in a similar fashion to the situation with the Blackheart Rogues.

"I didn't ask Spiderstar to pick a side, don't twist my words. I warned her, not just about your own clan but others." It was true, Egretstar had not once specifically asked Spiderstar to make a decision. In fact, she'd pointed out that the woman's choice was 'understandable'. This was petty, though. Playground squabbles lead by leaders that could change the outcome for their groups. Not that Egretstar was particularly above all of this, but Radioactiveplague was provocative. It was his plan, of course. Still, simply changing the subject didn't seem likely.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"We need questions answered... Now."

Just thinking about everything they'd been told recently was enough to conjure a disgusted feeling in her stomach. As though the vulture was about to vomit, though she'd not eaten enough for this to be likely. Frustration ran through her body, though the one thing that held her back from screaming was Peter's presence. A reminder that she'd have to wait for the Blackheart Rogues' to speak their peace before she began freaking out over what had been said by several leaders. The claims seemed real though, too grotesque to simply be made up for the amusement of a few creatures.

Moving onto the territory belonging to the Blackhearts, Egretstar's figure would crumple slightly. Wings laying out in a somewhat lazy manner, throat still sore. A single working ocular trained upon her friend, curious as to how he was feeling.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"Some of them might be involved with that kid, though... We should wait until Malakai gets here..."

It didn't seem as though the leader was likely to even show up at this point, but Egretstar knew that they'd have to at least give the man his chance to talk his peace. Even if she felt as though both herself and Peter were just about to be spoon fed more lies. Such an alliance was something that had to be regarded with the correct amount of care, for the time being. If the Blackhearts were to prove both Athena and Spiderstar right, then that amount of care would likely be thrown out of the window. At least, on Egretstar's side of the situation.

Peter seemed relaxed whilst addressing the Blackheart members. Something that made the vulture partially uncomfortable, though the woman was also somewhat thankful for this. After all, it was clear that the HawkClan leader was furious. To a point where the word wouldn't do her emotions justice. It was probably a good idea for her to allow her friend to ask the questions, chipping in wherever needed throughout the discussion. Otherwise the situation was much more likely to break out into a fight.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"There were two raids held against us, actually. If it had just ended at one, HawkClan likely wouldn't have responded on such a large scale. Yuri also came on our territory, after the first raid, and started a fight over one of our high positions. He then sent the second raid against us and lost."

Yuri still disgusted her, completely. The way he'd treated Kururi -- who had been a former prisoner to him -- was terrible. Then he'd happily send over a second raid. Something that HawkClan had done surprisingly well against, all things considered. Still, they'd fought back. There wasn't much else Egretstar could do against the male right now. Not until they were forced to fight in self-defence again. Yuri and Radioactiveplague still seemed to be the most problematic ShadowClanners, though. Something to look out for in the future. Not just for herself, but the countless other clans that seemed to be having issues with ShadowClan. It seemed as though they prided themselves on being a nuisance, something that was sure to stab them in the back in future endeavours. After all, several of these clans had already made it clear that they would be fighting back. A lack of allies willing to fight would put them at a clear disadvantage.

"No, I didn't know that. Still, are there reasons for those attacks that you've missed out by any chance?" It seemed as though RiverClan was much more likely to have reasoning behind their actions in comparison with ShadowClan. Who'd already confessed that they felt there was no more justification needed aside from the fact that HawkClan was 'enemies'. Something the vulture hadn't even been aware of until ShadowClan raided them for the first time in moons. Disrupting the peace, as they so commonly did. There had been no point. No method to Radioactiveplague's madness. These anti-clans just wanted a fight. Now they had one, with most of the existing pro-clans.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]The names of everyone announced will be in the team colours of the team they've been chosen for.

    [hr]

A team leader was still required for the opposing team. Nelly seemed to be the only HawkClanner who had verbalised her interest in leading the opposing team, so she felt as though that alone had already practically given her the position. "Nelly, ya can be the team captain for team Ostrich then. You'll need ta act as a referee throughout the competition an' hold some events for it. I'll also need ya to choose your team*." Other than what she had already said, the guide to the competition seemed to sum up anything that she'd need to know anyway.

"Isabelle, yer on team Raven with me." (Randomiser results). That left two. Egretstar would decide to allow Nelly the chance to choose next, due to the fact that she'd just chosen Isabelle. Hopefully, that'd keep things running smoothly.

*Using a random number generator. Post images of the result, if you can, to prove that you aren't cheating :^)

Thank you, I'll reply as soon as I can!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Luca was willing to help them out? SkyClan had been one of the groups that the woman hadn't expected to gain a positive reaction from, but this didn't mean that she wasn't pleased by the news. Nodding slightly in the creature's direction, Egretstar would take a second to think of how she could reply to such news. "Thank you. Feel free ta come an' talk to me privately about the war, if you want." Strategies would have to be discussed, along with similar issues. Not only that, but there was the possibility of an alliance. An option that the vulture wanted to explore as soon as she could, whilst their allies were so low in numbers. Something that seemed particularly important whilst there were issues between themselves and the Blackheart Rogues. Something that would likely lead to Egretstar terminating their alliance all together, though she'd have to wait to see how things panned out prior to making such a drastic move.

"Seeing as our raid against them was reasonably successful, I won't be sending out another in the near future. Instead, we'll prepare ourselves for a raid in return. Then, we'll retaliate when a raid is sent our way. I don't see a point in aggravating 'em after we've done what we need to, though." After all, the raid she had expected in response was taking much longer than she had thought it would. After all, it wasn't like ShadowClan to put things off. To plan, as well. After all, Radioactiveplague had been completely unaware of the second raid sent to HawkClan by Yuri. Which had sparked their retaliation raid. "Thank you, Frostbite." Nodding in the deputy's direction, the vulture would pick up on her offer.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Weapons seemed pointless to the leader.

Unless the creature wielding such equipment had opposable thumbs, the creature would be forced to carry whatever they were using in their mouth. Not only was this dangerous, but the lack of manoeuvrability was astounding. Considering nearly all of the organisms she had witnessed using these weapons were carnivores, the decision seemed stupid. These creatures had a set of teeth made for fighting along with devouring creatures, so why not make use of what you already had instead of slowing yourself down?

Still, the leader found herself gathering alongside her clanmates. Hoping to find knowledge on how to fight against people utilising these weapons better rather than learning to fight with them.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]This invite is for all semi/high positions. It is a pro-clan gathering. Please assume that a HawkClan NPC sent over the invite and feel free to PM me with any questions :^) I would have Eg send over the invite, but that wouldn't make sense as she is leading the discussion and se can't be in two places at once. A lot of it will be about ShadowClans/anti-clans in general.

she and peter ought to get closer.... she's like one of his few friends outside of his clanmates.

i'm not sure if it would ever work out but I wonder if it could ever even become romantic in any form. peter's super conservative about love tho, so he might not approve but vulture goat hybrids might be cool as a plot based alliance litter thing.

    x
Definitely, Eg doesn't have a lot of close relations so that'd be great! Should I make a thread for them, or would you like to make it? :^)

In regards to the romance plot, I was thinking of something like that at one point. I think they'd both start of being quite awkward about it, but I think it would be adorable! Eg could also shapeshift if they were to have a litter, though she doesn't tend to very often.

    Sure, who should make it?

Sounds good, who should make the thread?

Thread with Chaoticpaw? He'll likely be an ass and bicker with her, so they could possibly become enemies.

    [color=transparent]x

That might be able to happen! Who should make the thread?

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]Thank you guys!

If you could put it in HawkClan, that'd be great!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify]"It isn't as simple as that, a leader needs proof."

Focusing upon Flowergarden for a moment, the vulture's frustration at the way this creature had voiced their opinion was clear. Still, Egretstar would avoid further action for the time being. More so for Deutchstar's sake than Flowergarden herself. After all, the leader knew that if one of her members had spoken in such a way there would have definitely been precautions given out. Still, the woman would have hoped that HawkClan members would have been much more concerned over their clan's foreign relations.

"I think we should do that, right now anyway... Leaders can brief everyone once we have somethin' sorted, but communication will be easier with a smaller group."

It was true, there was a much larger turnout than the woman had expected. Athena's telepathic words to her meant that -- regardless of what everyone else thought -- they'd have to remove anyone who could possibly pose as a threat. That would have to continue to be their main priority. "Spiderstar... I still don't expect ya to choose a side, but what're you guys plannin' on doing? After all, there's still the risk of other anti-clans goin' after you lot." As much as the woman respected the Oriental's choice in the matter, StormClan would likely have to act in some way against everything. It didn't seem as though the anti-clans were too interested, but that was something that could easily change. Not only that, but wouldn't StarClan want them to fight for the pro-clans as well?

Upon noticing Peter, the woman would offer a quick nod of her head. Refraining from greeting him in the casual manner she usually would, for the sake of the situation. Things were too formal, though she would have preferred for everything to be much more laid back. Still, war wasn't a casual subject. There also wasn't much point in asking how RadicalClan would be reacting to everything, considering her friend had already made his position clear. Even if RadicalClan was reluctant to fight, Peter would likely be helping out in some form.
