    so the apprentice gambled? this wasn't of particular interest to bell, but they noted it anyways. idly, they wondered why ghosty had bet against obama. oh well, it didn't particularly matter to them, really. besides, maybe the other knew more about politics than they did.


    "ah, i am!" they chimed in as ghosty climbed onto one of the tables. they watched with gleaming violet eyes as the male performed the trick. "whoa, cool." of course, they had always been easily entertained, but still.

    "oh, you look good in that!" bell commented, padding up and gazing at dimitri with an intrigued expression. they weren't quite sure what dimitri was doing, or why he was wearing a nurse's outfit, but they weren't gonna lie, it was certainly cute.


    ah, perhaps they weren't supposed to be commenting on it? it wasn't like they knew this feline very well, anyways. hopefully they weren't stepping out of line? they had just sort of blurted it out without thinking.

    hopefully bell wouldn't get one like that -- they were deathly terrified of insects.


    "could i have one of these things, too?" they weren't quite sure of what weekly tasks were, but they had gathered the gist of it. they just had to do whatever they were assigned, right? simple enough.


    these tasks certainly seemed interesting, though. collecting insects? making balloons explode? they couldn't help but eagerly wonder what they would end up getting.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 300px;][justify][font=arial]bell was actually relieved -- if a little shocked -- that they had actual work to do now. before, when they had been living as a kittypet, they simply lounged around their home and observed their owner. they hadn't imagined that there would be all that much to do in a clan, but boy, were they wrong.


    it wasn't exactly what they had dreamed of when they had wanted an adventure. they had been thinking of exploring dungeons, fighting monsters -- just like the heroes on tv in the moving picture box did. still, it was definitely an adventure of its own.


    today, though, they had run out of things to do. it was an odd feeling, being free from work after previously being up to their ears in it. they decided to explore a little more, which had eventually led them down to the dock. they ended up simply sitting there for a moment, gazing into the water. the peaceful scene reminded them of the few times they had accompanied their owner on fishing trips. of course, that had ended after she had gotten tired of them constantly stealing the fish that she had caught.


    bell jumped as they heard a sleepy sigh, peering down at the feline that sat inside of the boats tethered to the pier. they couldn't believe that they hadn't noticed her earlier -- then again, they weren't the most observant to begin with, and they'd been stuck in old memories. "oh, what are you reading?" they questioned, their violet eyes landing on the book in her hands.
