If the pastry, or fluffy bread as Devin had called it was as nice as he made it sound, Red thought there was no reason not to try it. Besides, it had icing on it! "Well, the adults bake treats in the kitchen every so often so what's wrong with us doing the same? Also...I want chocolate icing on the conchas we make." Without waiting for a reply, she stood up from her haunches and gestured for Devin to follow as she headed to the kitchen.

But their problems nonetheless. I mean not as big a magnitude as those struggling in financial poverty and poor living conditions, but still problems anyways. I don't know...I'm struggling to balance schoolwork, club activities, and friends that don't really feel like friends anymore...the transition between lower secondary and upper secondary is real (aka from middle school to high school in US terms).
