Red realized, as she followed the crowd and plopped down by the throne, that she didn't understand a lot of what the lion had said. Probation? Alliances? There were other people like the people who lived in the castle, others like the Knights of Eden? In any case, she didn't manage to form any words before the atmosphere grew tense with the appearance of an opposition to the lion king. She never asked any questions when people were arguing like that, she just didn't dare. So she remained silent.

Death? Red echoed softly. Before she could say anything, Akikopaw explained what happened to Edward. Yet, Red knew there was something wrong. Akikopaw was crying and that was something obviously sad. Asking anymore would be wrong, since it would make Akikopaw sadder. So Red would equate death with what Akikopaw said, at least until someone told her otherwise. With that, she responded simply, her voice tinged with slight sorrow, "I see..."

It wasn't that she disliked Edward or Escaflowne, whoever she was now, but rather that she just felt uncomfortable with wolves. And she had wings too! "Why are you a wolf! she pouted, hiding behind Akikopaw. Red had seen the corpse that Edward left behind but Akikopaw had explained what happened, albeit with gruesome details cut to be child-friendly.

However, she did know that Akikopaw cared about Edward/Escaflowne and that meant he wasn't too bad. Besides, he seemed nice when she first met him. She always thought wolves were mean and evil creatures, but a young girl's view, especially a nice girl like Red, was malleable and that statement didn't mean much seeing as she had only saw one before. She didn't think much about it.

It had not long been long before the first Edeners arrived. There was a black and red panther that had just went off to the side and Red didn't know her name. And then there was a blonde tabby cat and a sand cat that arrived, introducing themselves as Ladyliberty and Rey respectively. Red thought she might as well introduce herself.
