"Why the hell not?" said Kotoko as she padded over, blinking. "Someone's gotta do it, I guess. We can't go runnin' out of food now, can we? Then it'll give people another reason to die..."

No promotion. Or shoutout. Or title. Damn. Kotoko rolled her eyes as she let out a small sigh, shifting her weight. "Congratulations to those promoted." She murmured, clearing her throat. Maybe she needed to be a little more active the next couple of weeks...

BoneClan gifts? "Cool," said Kotoko as she trotted over casually, drawing in the basket towards her with a single swipe of the paw. She looked down at it, shifting through its contents, nodding as she did so. "I'll be takin' these." The feline murmured as she took a couple of flowers in hand- They'd be a wonderful addition to her indoor garden. She took a few steps back, taking a seat in the hard dirt as she looked around and waited for others to arrive.

"Name and business?" Kotoko murmured as she padded over, flexing her paws. It'd been a while since she'd said those words, it felt kind of... refreshing.

Visiting? Who was visiting now? Nowadays, she usually ignored visitors because they weren't for her. They were usually coming to see a friend, or a family member, or maybe a lover. Whatever it was, she usually didn't show up to those kinds of things. She didn't want to see the warm, loving reunion between the visitor and the person they seemed to be looking for, oh no. It just wasn't for her. Especially since everybody in her god damn motherfucking family left her, she had nobody to visit her. Just looking at something like that might remind her of the pain and heartbreak she felt when her brother disappeared, her sister disappeared, her parents, her girlfriend, and Pixelle. Pixelle, not only her sister, but her best friend. The person she could undoubtedly say she loved the most. Gone. Abandoning her.

"Hm...?" The gruff voice of the ebony lioness at the border snapped her out of her negative thoughts. She let out a small, slightly thankful sigh, and turned over to where the voice was coming from. Immediately, her eyes widened. Who was that? She gave the large feline a once-over, lips pursing into a firm line as her optics narrowed into slits. They looked... familiar. All too familiar. And yet she couldn't give a name to the face. Or maybe she just couldn't believe it was that... someone.

"I'm... here." Kotoko said as she trotted over cautiously, eyeing the other slowly. She stared, and stared, and thought... Wait! No, it couldn't be! She stumbled back. "P-pixelle...?" The pale feline's lip began to tremble. Visions of her and her sister began to flash before her eyes, running around the beach, playing hide and seek in the forest, snuggling together, happy times. Then the note came back into her mind. The note. Oh god damn it, the note! She lowered her head, pressing her paws against her temples as a pounding headache came crashing in. "Pixelle..." she hissed, the name coming out like the horrifying screeching of nails on a chalkboard, like the scream of someone falling into despair, like agony summed up in a single sound.

After all this time, this is when her sister decided to show her face?

"What the fuck are you doing here!?" Kotoko roared as she lifted her head back up, expression stiffer, angrier, luminaries glowing with fury. "After all this time... Now is when you decide to come and see me? Why the fuck do you think, after so god damn long, you think it's a good idea to show up!? You disappeared, abandoned me, and then come back like it was fucking nothing!" A heavy breath. She clenched her teeth. "Do you even have any idea what the hell I was going through!? Everybody left me, Pixelle! Our siblings! Our parents! God damn it, Pixelle, I was alone! And you decided to go away too!" Tears began to form at the corners of her eyes. She didn't bother wiping them away, only lowering her head and taking in a shaky, gasping heave. By now, she was sobbing. The tears came flowing down, staining the hard dirt.

"B-but... I can't fucking hate you for it. God damn, Pixelle... you're... my sister..." She came stumbling forward, aiming to throw her tiny arms around her much larger sister. "Jesus Christ, Pixelle... Y-you're so huge... Too huge..." So much bigger in comparison to her tiny little cat body now. She sniffled, burying her face deep into her sister's chest (that is, if, well, Pixelle allowed her to hug her) and flattening her pointed ears against her skull. "F-fucking Christ... at least you bothered to come back and s-s-see me..." More crying. "I'm... I'm sorry." She pulled away, bringing a paw up to wipe at her disgusting, wet, snotty face. "It's... It's good to see you again."

A small smile. Gentle and warm. Just like she used to smile when she was just a small lion cub, hanging around her siblings and parents and enjoying life as it is. A smile she hadn't smiled in such a long time. It brought a pang of nostalgia back into her mind, but she didn't push it away.

    //oh helloooooooo muse
and hi kaemi!!! it's so good to see you again!

"Nice," Kotoko said as she came over, nodding with a smile of approval. She had her own garden herself back home, and too had a general appreciation of plants. Though she, unlike Imperiouspaw, did not have a special digestive system, so she couldn't stay away from meat. Besides, it was delicious! "Very nice. How long have you had this garden?" She asked, a small smile forming on her lips.

Meet and greets... When was the last time she held one? God, so long ago... Back when she was still a lioness, probably. Back when she was still a medic. Which, she had to admit... wasn't too good, because you had to know everybody here if you wanted to get along with them. They were your clanmates. It was important to at least learn everybody's name. "Kotoko." the feline said as she came trotting over, shaking out her flower mane and taking a seat by Radio. She gave him a teasing smirk, sticking her tongue out at him before returning her gaze over to Mira.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]
Ooh, politics! It was always exciting dealing with other clans, especially if the leader was needed. She came trotting after Radio, skidding to a halt beside him and adjusting her weight, sitting up straight and wrapping her tail around her paws. She eyed the StormClanners, smirked teasingly, and then looked back towards her soon-to-be brother-in-law, pointed ears twitching. She wondered what the foreigners were here to talk about...?

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]
She carried her weight under a gentle breeze and a beautiful, cloudless blue sky. The sun shone hard on her pale pelt as she glided gracefully through the tall grass, stopping in her tracks when she reached the edge of the cliff. She took in a large, grateful breath and sat on her haunches, emerald luminaries taking in every sight of the ocean shore below her. The crashing waves peregrinating into her ears, the feeling of the soft grass in between her toes, the scent of the ocean breeze all brought her to peace. All of this is why she decided to run away.

Of course, she went back to ShadowClan to see her family and old friends. There was no way she'd be leaving her homeclan forever, just... temporarily. And whenever she needed a little break, she just, well, came here.

Kotoko stood up after a moment or two of enjoying the view, shaking out her pale pelt of small pebbles and wisps of wishing flowers. She watched as the small puffs floated away into thin air, cleared her throat, and turned to the bag she brought with her. Out she pulled her medicine book, the one she kept since she was just a shaman apprentice. In it contained information and pictures on many types of flowers and herbs, exactly what she needed for reference for what she was about to do.

"Okay..." She took a deep breath, readying herself. She flipped to a certain page, lifted her paws and closed her eyes, before reopening them to get a second look and then closing them again. The feline began to conjure the flowers from the book, the forms glowing and taking shape before fully blooming. Koko opened her eyes, smiling with satisfaction at the result. A lovely patch of tansy! She stuffed them into her bag. Radio might want some of those to help with his sickness.

Then she tried conjuring up some more. Dandelions, tormentil, lavender... and maybe some rosemary to add to her indoor garden! She picked the flowers all up in a single swipe, shoving them into her bag. She swung it over her shoulder, turning back to where she came from. She'd better hurry home soon before the flowers die off, they only can survive for so long without water!

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]
"Ngh!" She jumped, dropping the bag and freezing as the contents spilled out. The last thing Kotoko had ever expected right now was to hear someone else's voice. She thought this was her private spot...? What was someone else doing in her private spot? She hurried to clean up the spilled herbs and book, stuffing them hastily back into the bag and slinging it back over her shoulder, rushing to get out of there and get out of there fast.

As soon as she lifted her head, her eyes met with those of Desertpaw's, and she stumbled back, slightly startled at the other's sudden appearance. She stared back, wide-eyed, shaking her head as she took a couple of steps back. "What...?" She said, placing a paw up to her chest. "What do you want? What?"

Kotoko listened, pursing her lips into a firm line as she did so. She nodded, chuckling a little, a smile smile forming upon her lips. "Okay, okay... Chill out- Hey," She said with a tiny sigh, dropping the bag again. She waited until the she-cat was done speaking, grin still present and growing ever so slightly as Desertpaw continued to ramble on. "It's whatever, man. There's no need to be sorry." Honestly, it was kind of amusing seeing her trying to explain herself like that. Her ears perked when she mentioned the "flower thing", and immediately the feline leaned in and murmured, "You mean this flower thing?"

She made some space between her and Des, letting out a little ahem before going back into her "flower-thing" pose. She lifted her paws and, almost like it was nothing, conjured up a couple of lovely red roses. Kotoko trotted over to them and swiped them up, slithering towards the other with flirty smirk, bowing her head and holding them up for her to take. "For you, ma'am."

Honestly, she didn't know what she was doing. She hadn't flirted with a girl in such a long time, ever since she was with Lotuskit. But Lotus was, well, out of her life now... And the girl was cute, so why not?

"Ummm..." Kotoko slowly made her way over, nonexistent eyebrows furrowed as she stared on. She gave the tom a once-over before narrowing her optics in thin slits, shaking her head. "Why? What... Like, what the fuck? Why? Why are you glowing?" The only person that kind of thing really suited was Radio, and that sort of was... his thing, really. It was kind of weird seeing someone else do it.

She wondered why he'd only wanted to meet the little kids of the clan? He better not be a pedophile or anything. Cautiously padding over, Kotoko took a seat in the small crowd, looking around at everyone else who seemed so calm. Then she returned her gaze over to Yuri, and she shook her head. "Kotoko." the feline murmured, shifting her weight.

    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]
"Yeah," Kotoko said, nodding gently as the she-cat thanked her. She looked sheepishly down at her paws, twiddling around with them. "You're uh, welcome." She looked back up, shaking out her flower mane, lapping at it a little, and returning her gaze to Desertpaw, who she faced intently. "Desertpaw," she repeated softly, letting out a small, shy chuckle. What was she getting so shy for all of a sudden...? The girl was actually being nice to her. Though with such a tense, slightly anxious demeanor from the other feline, Koko had expected her advances to be brushed off or awkwardly let down. Now that she knew that Desertpaw might, just might share those feelings, she didn't know how to handle the situation.

Wait, you're going too fast! She thought to herself, and she shook her head, clearing her throat. Take things slow. She's cute, but you don't know if she likes you back! "I-I um," Shit! She forgot to introduce herself! "I'm... Kotoko. Jade. Kotoko... Jade. Yeah. But most just call me Kotoko, or just... Koko." The fem fixed her attention on her bag, remembering about the flowers she was supposed to be bringing back to Radio. But she supposed that could wait. Besides, she could always just conjure up some more if she needed to on the way back. "Desertpaw... I've never seen you around before. Where are you from?" Her optics flickered up to the sandy feline again.

    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]
"Hey," Kotoko called, trotting over toward the foreigner in an instant. She eyed her from head to toe, tail lashing, ears pointed up and alert as she took in a whiff of the girl's scent. Definitely not ShadowClan. "What're you doin' here? Why are you rushing into someone else's territory like you own the god damn place?" Of course, she had no idea that Kai was being followed, though even if she was it probably wouldn't be her top priority. Not unless the thing ended up hurting her, anyway. Though she seemed fine, and Koko seemed insistent on finding out why the hell she chose ShadowClan to come and stroll into.
