She glanced towards Jekyll as he covered her with a blanket and offered a false smile in his direction for his attempt to help. She supposed she was cold, she had just reached a point where she was so mad she didn't feel it. She used a paw to wrap it around herself with a nod, figuring that getting sick would be inconvenient in the long run, letting its warmth envelop her and clear her thoughts. Spewing half-drunken on pneumonia madness at this girl wouldn't be of any use to her, might as well keep a clear head. She watched idly as he prepared the hot tea- his relief was evident and it made her shoulders relax a little. It was good to her Clanmates still had a little faith left in her.

She glanced at Basil, who was clearly struggling between the two views of his leader: the one who stood here now and the one who had laughed it off when the pony had tried to join. She didn't blame him. At his words, the feline gave a dry smirk. "Pest control has arrived. I apologize for my tardiness, there was... a traffic jam, per se." Sure she could have waited out the mind block, but she wasn't the type, so instead she hacked right through it. She chuckled dryly at the figurative language she used before ending abruptly as the problem herself arrived.

"Listen, sweetheart," Nighthawk purred, the endearment poisoned on her tongue and shot like an accusatory word rather than an affectionate one. She straightened her shoulders, struggling to contain the child in her that wished to shred the equine where she stood. "I get that your precious home was overrun by a gang of losers. It sucks. I know the feeling." She narrowed her eyes pointedly. "Unfortunately for you, though, I'm not quite in the mood to let princess Starsparkle take over my home when I worked so damn hard to keep it upright for this long. Besides, I became Captain like a week ago. My fun's nowhere near over." She licked her maw and pulled the blanket up as it began to slip. "So... bye! Hope you enjoyed your time here. Your cruel little maneuver, that one where you tried to show my Clanmates how hideous I really was- yeah, you play dirty. Hell, you would blend in with us pretty well if you ever wanted to stay, 'cept you'd be a prisoner." She shrugged before her gaze grew serious. "Now leave. The resistance my Clanmates showed you when you first showed up is going to hurt a lot worse with a Captain giving orders."

Her gaze slid over to Ravenkit and Ghostwriter, lingering on her deputy for a moment before lifting a paw and waving airily. Almost apologetically too, with a glint in her yellow eyes that said We'll talk later. She certainly had a lot to make up for, now didn't she? She licked her maw and turned back to the pony, tail whipping beneath the blanket Jekyll had given her.

"Since when was my health of any of your concern?" Nighthawk's words were cold although she could feel Jeyll staring at her inquisitively at Starlight's words. So what if she was sick, it was not a physical sickness aside from the insomnia which she dealt with easily. Her mental issue was something else entirely and it wasn't like it had nothing to do with being Captain, but she wasn't about to bow down because of it. "And yes, that's exactly what I intend to do, cut this joke off as quickly as it showed up." She was tired of talking. She loathed it, didn't she?

As the pony shifted into an elephant she pressed out a sigh, golden eyes narrowing. Pathetic worm, using powers to fight, it was like she didn't have a single brain cell- or a muscle of her own. She relied entirely on these feeble powers to fight. Nighthawk felt a smirk pulling on her muzzle. She could defeat her even with those useless powers, she didn't need them to crush the idiotic clown. As Helix spoke, she cast him a knowing glance and nodded her head, a silent promise to explain later lingering in her eyes as she turned back to Starlight in time to see her trying to crush Ghostwriter. She had a feeling her deputy could hold her own against such a slow attack and instead used the opening to try and lurch forward and leap onto the elephant's back before aiming to reach over her head and claw open her eyes wit a flurry of swipes at the leathery skin protecting them.

(sorry if i missed anything, i have a headache so reading the white text was hard xD)

Nighthawk rolled her eyes at the stereotype. Though she had to admit it was a rather intruiging one, so she wouldn't exactly argue against it. She peered at the odd creature before giving what she hoped was a convincing smile. Sunclan, then? She had been on the verge of dropping the, to neutrals during the crisis but according to Enzo it seemed to be repairing itself now. She lifted her feline brows before nodding gratefully. "The action is hugely appreciated- but are you sure you can afford to give gifts in such a state? Perhaps it would be better if we gave gifts to you," she murmured with a low laugh, though she was actually serious- she would bring it up later.

Nighthawk knew she was long overdue for another meeting even though she wasn't going to pummel herself with weekly meetings- that seemed like a dull event honestly, it made things too expectable around here. She wanted things to be exciting and unpredictable and all that jazz. She hopped onto the deck and stood somewhere higher up, glancing over the ship with an air of pride. She definitely needed to brief on her... eccentric behavior. Eccentric, for Nighthawk, that was. The ebony cat sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. [b]"Skulls! We have a lot to discuss so chop-chop."

Hmm, floppy ears had saved her eyes, it seemed. The black female blinked before she spotted an incoming trunk and smirked. The unfortunate part of being an elephant was the slow movements, whereas she was quicker than a rabbit thanks to years of practicing hunting and evasive maneuvers. She licked her maw as it came for her and as it tried to wrap around her body she side-stepped before aiming to roughly sink her claws into the exposed end of the trunk and also rip at it with her teeth before releasing it quickly to avoid further injury. [b]"Hey, trunks, why don't you stop hiding behind this sack of leather and fight me one-on-one instead of taking the cowards way out?"

And here they all were. She gazed at them all with the same feeling of being crushed by the weight of responsibility but swallowed around the cotton in her throat. She licked her dry lips before finally addressing them all. Now was not the opportune time to get nervous.

"To open, I wish to apologize for my behavior." That hideous ugly face of hers she had kept so carefully hidden all this time was now showing through and she was disgusted by it and so were they. She shifted her paws beneath her. "Emotions... are not something that come easily for me. Attachments, even less so." Her golden gaze shifted subconsciously towards Slippaw, her heart breaking at the way she stared at her so pointedly. "...Even my own family. I was never taught was family is, much less loyalty or love or anything like that. I saw it as weakness. I always have." She wasn't going to get mushy on them, it just wasn't something she would do, but she had to explain herself. "I understand if my recent actions make me unfit to be your leader and should the majority see me as an unfit ruler I will step down without hesitance. But I want to say that when I came to the Skulls I came expecting to be able to leave without a trace, and when that damn pony stripped and picked at my mind that side of me shone through in all its hideousness. Yet I could barely make it across the border before my own paws sent me back here- I realize now that the Skulls is my family. My weakness, too, but it's a good weakness to have."

She took a deep breath. Enough of this me, I, mine *. She was in a bad mood still from Starlight and lifted her head, ears pinning backwards slightly. "That said, if you all truly want me gone, I refuse to accept that pathetic horse as a replacement. If you see her again, kill her instantly. I really would like to try horse meat...." She let her sentence drift off thoughtfully, tail flicking behind her. Her true side was shining through still but it was projected through her dedication to the Skulls, that much was obvious. "I would like to settle so,e affairs before you make your decision to dispose of me or not because honestly, I've been meaning to for a while. Let's start with promotions and demotions, since you guys get all jittery about those.

"Firstly, Basil, I would like you to fill the Quartermaster position. You have shown extreme dedication to the clan even though you are young- damn though, you still have more dedication in one foot than most able-bodied Warriors so I wouldn't want anybody else for the position honestly. Good work, keep at it." Haha, her praises were so awkward honestly. "Summerpaw is demoted- I warned her and there was little improvement. However, Jekyll. You've been working hard all this time and there's very little I can teach you that you don't know yourself. I'd still like to give you lessons, but you can step up as the full Apothecary now. Good work, good luck. Crookedpaw, Auresque, you two can step up to Cannoneers and Slippaw and Helix can fill their spots as Boatswains." Her gaze fell on her daughter to whom she gave a small smile, but like hell this promotion meant she was going to stop following her everywhere she went and keeping her out of trouble. "That's all for promotions but you all have been ridiculously dedicated through this all so I thank you for that."

Now for the fun part!! Politic hell!! She had spent hours working this out going through alliances but she had finally figured her * out. "I'm dropping the Ambassador program for now- it had potential but it's going nowhere and it'll be a mess with the alliance changes I'm making. A smaller version can be held if you want but for now, we'll just have people send gifts and regards every other meeting and of course, I have other ideas in mind too which are way more genuine and fun then these gift basket excuses, they're kind of lame. First of all, the Tribe of Submerged Paradise is being dropped to neutral because we don't really have similar alliances at all... not sure why were allies in the first place. I intend to seek alliance ship with the following: Boneclan, Bloodclan, Blizzardclan, Shadowclan, Scarclan, and Colouredclan. They have the same allies as us and honestly the same lifestyles too, plus they're ridiculously strong allies so damn, why wouldn't we be allies with them?" She was kind of shocked they limited themselves to such small allies when they could have much more but no matter, this ought to go smoothly as she had scoured over the other clans' alliances and they fit perfectly. "If you want to go to one or more of those to request it, just say so and off you go. I'll visit Bloodclan and Blizzardclan myself to stretch my legs and clear my head."

She paused and narrowed her eyes. "Sunclan is an ally who went through a tough tyranny lately and as an ally we ought to help out, they even went out of their way to give us gifts after such a blow. We will send aid to help them recover- I want like two or three people to come with me to send them gifts and stuff like food, medical supplies, extra paws, etc. You can even offer temporary dual-alliances to help them out until they're stable if you would like. We will do whatever they ask until they recover so I'm hoping you will work with me on this." So serious.

Here was the fun! She was pumped for this. Without warning she stood up and dug her claws into the floorboard, getting fired up in a matter of seconds. "Now, what you all have been waiting impatiently for! We're launching a raid on Solsticeclan right now to celebrate these new alliances and make sure to invite them all to the fun if they accept. If that's not fun enough we will also be holding a massive feast afterwards for all our new allies and old ones and maybe we'll smash some heads in and get drunk as well, good times. My task for you all is to make a friend in one of our allies- I don't care if it's on the battlefield checking each other's backs or getting wasted over cold turkey, just do it. It's literally a contest- for every friend you make (I.E. a series of five posts from each character interacting in either the raid or feast or a private thread invited through those two) you will get one thousand silver, and there's a first second and third place: getting one million, a half million, and a quarter million silver in order of such, if you get what I'm saying. First place also gets a special medallion to wear, except it's a snazzy eyepatch nicknack and more of a gag gift." She snickered. "That's all! I think. I might have missed something. Regardless, let's get scooting, we have Solsticeclanners to raid- I'll hold it tomorrow evening so be prepared."

    [TL:DR—

    - Personal apology and explanation for her behavior, allowing them to vote on her demotion.
    - Summerpaw demoted.
    - Crookedpaw and Auresque to Cannoneer, Basil to Quartermaster, Jekyll to Apothecary, Slippaw and Helix to Boatswain.
    - Kill Starlight on sight.
    - Requesting alliance with Boneclan, Bloodclan, Blizzardclan, Shadowclan, Scarclan, and Colouredclan.
    - Dropping ToSP to neutrals.
    - Helping Sunclan and asking 2-3 people to help her send supplies and help them recover.
    - Invite new and old allies to a raid on Solsticeclan followed by a huge feast to celebrate.
    - Challenge to make the most friends outside of the Skulls- winner gets 1M silver, 2nd .5M, and 3rd .25M. Proof by PMing Kuebiko either an interaction thread between the two characters with a minimum of five posts from each character, or five interaction posts from each (link all posts!!) in either/both raid and feast threads. You can reach out to them however you would like!

    /yee sounds good!!!! and THX!!

"Mo- Nighthawk!" Nighthawk froze like ice had settled into her veins before whipping towards Slippaw, afraid for the briefest moment that she would find her daughter strung up by her throat again, that her ghost was crying out to her- but instead she came face to face with a furious and slightly disheveled but still living form of her daughter. The brief twist in her expression settled as she let her body relax, frowning at the feeling in her gut. Here she was thinking she had no emotions, and yet she was worried for Slippaw.

It wasn't so much that she didn't have them but that she had worked so hard to get rid of them, to stifle them. As a kit she had been so cynical and detached that it had been an easy task and that carried through most of her warriorhood, especially after her parents died leaving her very alone and no longer protected by their ranks. She had moved to the Skulls shortly after Witchingstar had been displaced as a leader and look at her now. A fully functioning adult. The progression had been so rapid it hurt a little.

"Ah, Slippaw," she purred, feigning a smile that wrote across her maw slower than usual, her golden eyes betraying none of these thoughts as she seated herself and wrapped her tail around her paws, the pale scars under her fur seeming almost silver in this moonlight, making her shiver a little. Family- she didn't know how this worked. She had never really spoken one-on-one with Slippaw despite having carried her around for quite a while, and it was obvious by the way her gaze never landed on one particular thing that she was inexperienced and unsure how to approach Slippaw. There were no parenting books in the ship, only books on herbs and politics, so she was genuinely lost. Her parents had never really shown affection to her, it had just been a mutual understanding of blood relation, one that she hid under to protect her weak self from outsiders when they tried to call her out. "What- What's bother you?" It wasn't hard to tell Slippaw was angry and she could only guess at what being rather airheaded at this time at night.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt]just so you guys know ill be gone till Monday hiking with friends sorry for last minute !! i meant to mention it earlier but i fell asleep

I have a lot of awesome plots prepared for you guys so buckle up! Nighthawk is somebody who I'd like to think is a very unique and diverse character with a lot of potential plots behind her if you're willing to include yourself in them! Some plots have standards (like gender or personality) but a lot of them are open to anybody and can be claimed by several people!

To brief her personality: Nighthawk is inwardly detached and generally can be considered as somebody with no emotional attachments that she wants to get into. She was raised in Thunderclan and is the daughter of Witchingstar and Frogstar and lived in the shadow of their leadership, usually using her heritage as an excuse to avoid others by telling them it was her parent's orders to leave her alone. She often thinks that emotional attachments are a weakness and thus, loathes to enter them, however after spending time in the Skulls has begrudgingly realized that she loves her new home though still sees it as a weakness. Her familial bonds are weak and she struggles to be a poster mother but is failing pretty badly. Despite her emotionlessness, Nighthawk puts up a constant facade of being friendly and outgoing although socialization and commitment exhaust her.

Without further ado, the plots! You do NOT have to be a Skull to participate in them. You can also ask for MORE THAN ONE plot for a character if they blend well!

    - The mentor. Nighthawk is a trained huntress, elite traditional fighter and also excels in herbs, so no true mentor is what is being sought here. The mentor that Nighthawk needs is somebody who can teach her how to accept her feelings for the Skulls and also help her bond with her children- think of it as a therapist sort but also eventually becomes a role model. (REQ: must be of an allied clan at least.)

    - The enemy. Nighthawk needs a sworn enemy. She will find the only other strong emotion she can feel aside from love for the Skulls is hatred and she will find it in this character. They'll likely meet on an off chance where they manage to either mock her, taunt her, annoy her, or in some other way get her to the point of seriously loathing your character. We can continue from there. (REQ: can be ally or enemy or clanmate, older than a warrior, and have an abrasive personality.)

    - The best friend. Nighthawk doesn't develop attachments easily but this character is special: they will discover Nighthawk in a vulnerable state (like suffering from a panic attack from her childhood) and instead of turning their back on her will help her out and support her. She will get scared and try to push them away afterwards but this character refuses and eventually she will find them in a vulnerable state and begrudgingly help them, entering an unstable friendship that eventually strengthens once they talk more and hang out more- this character will be like family to them. (REQ: not of the Skulls (for angst purposes LMAO), older than a warrior, willing to put up with her emotionless and annoyingly stubborn side.)

More will come! I just need to think. (:

Nighthawk was excited to blow off some steam, plus with their new allies they had a lot in store for them. Her golden eyes shone viciously as she scaled the ground leading up to their territory, slinking easily past the border and silencing the NPC questioning them by crushing his skull with a leap and a blow against a rock- the first bloodshed on her side. This was fun, and the Skulls moved like the ghost behind them, silent and also lethal as they made their way deeper before reaching camp where the ebony Captain lifted her muzzle and released a proud battle cry. "Loot them!" And thus, the fighting began. Hopefully it was satiate their bloodlust.

Nighthawk hopped onto the ship's hull (probably mislabeled this so if she's standing on the very tip of the boat ignore that) with her ears pinned to her head, a bloodthirsty glint in her fiery golden eyes as she lifted her muzzle. The day was finally reaching the dusk and the cover of night was her best cloak, if things went smoothly she would raid Solsticeclan at midnight while they were all vulnerable and asleep to scare their daylights out and have the upper hand. Or, paw. This was late but for the sake of time we were going to assume it was a day after the meeting since Kuebiko had been mountain-bound and living life to its fullest without internet for those other days, plus there was no need to rush.

"Skulls!" Her yowl was sharp but not booming as most anti-clan leaders sho three their weight around would do, lacking any bass but still clear and commanding unlike her usual tones. A Cheshire grin split her maw. "Let's show Solsticeclan who's superior. For those of you who sent alliance requests, make sure to invite them to this. Afterwards, we eat!" A jovial grin followed before she slipped off the ship and into the fading sunset.

"It's been a while since I've done one of these babies," Nighthawk murmured as she sauntered over. It had been, her last one involved herbs or some sort, right? Regardless the fem seemed back to her usual self, a cheery grin plastered on her face like a masquerade ball mask and her eyes glittering with false warmth as she seated herself and tilted her head. "Give me your best, Basil," she challenged her quartermaster with a smirk.

The sleek feline arrived on the border and if she had been feeling in a funny mood she might have worn a bandana around her head and some scrubs to exemplify the fact she was going to be helping pick stuff up, but instead she bore nothing as usual. She had been thinking of piercings since she was literally a Captain of a bunch of pirates, but something about that seemed like she was mocking a stereotype and she was actually pretty proud of her job. Though a piercing sounded ridiculously cool. If things kept up maybe Slippaw would cut her a few holes to put rings in, since she had managed to infuriate her poor daughter. She was awful at mothering, so hopefully this would help her figure out was going on.

"Ey, Sunclan! The Skulls have arrived. Don't worry, we won't attack you, we've got Solsticeclan for that..." she mused with a Cheshire cat's smile blooming on her maw. She supposed having a gang of pirate show up on your doorstep was frightening but in the sake of appearances her Clanmates were rather tame since most were apprentices or younger but Auresque was rather scary on her own and both Nighthawk and Ghostwriter seemed perpetually ready to cut a bitch, but right now she just looked a little hectic but eager, all a wonderful façade. "Anyways, we heard about your situation. Since we figured things must still be uneasy for you guys, we bring any aide you need for the next fourty-eight hours: Jekyll and I have medical knowledge, we can all hunt decently, plus we have any supplies you need at the flick of a paw. Just tell us what to do."

Their eager reactions gave her confidence but it didn't take an idiot to see the tension that still lingered, especially on the silence offered by Helix and Slippaw. She didn't budge though, determined to prove things right. Helix was dead on where she played her cards carefully and with thought, a mistake was deadly in this world. She had been cautious since day one. At Auresque's words she slid her gaze towards the dragoness almost disinterestedly but a smirk crept along her jaw with a look that said, Keep dreaming. If Slippaw had asked her if she felt the same now she wouldn't have had a sure answer so she made sure to dodge her gaze and instead lifted her head.

"You all can help by hitting some of the allies mentioned. Bloodclan, Blizzardclan, Shadowclan, and Colouredclan have been taken and leaves Boneclan and Scarclan for grabs. Let me know your results." She dragged her tongue along her teeth thoughtfully. "On that note, the raid was just posted and the troops to Sunclan can come with me. The friend game will have a thread soon, probably once the feast is up. That's all. Meeting dismissed!"

thanks!! and ive got it B^)

Nighthawk was no stranger to powers and as such, she had made herself adjust to properly accommodate them even though she had nine herself (and frankly, didn't want them.) She had grown up in a world where the only powers that existed were perhaps the ability to have more than six children and being able to reincarnate yourself- she had won battles then and she could still win them now. She was a huntress, her senses highly tuned and finely whittled to expect anything, and her reactions were down to a millisecond. All it took we to feel the slight gust of disturbed air near her, to catch the sound of added weight on the destroyed earth under her paws with radar-like ears, and then to hear the swipe of wind and feel it brush her face- before the blow could even come near her she had ducked her head with unbelievable speed and followed it up by narrowing her eyes and diving into the exposed area of Kate's chest, aiming to slam into her ribs with sudden force and try and slam her to the ground with bone-rattling, lethal force. "You're creepy as hell," she remarked in a gasp for air before also aiming to snap her paw out and smash Kate's jaw into the ground.
