Their eye was caught by a figure in the tress. This figure was both too white in color and too tall to be just any old human. Judging by their odd hair color and skin tone alone, the dazed gem could pretty much reach the conclusion of the other being a gem as well. Odd. They've been meeting a lot of them lately. Maybe there had been some sort of mass migration going on or something of the like.
They shrugged the thought off and raised a hand half heartedly in their direction and gave a little wave. It wasn't as if they wanted to catch the other's attention. No, it was just one of those odd impulses they had learned in that point in life when they had thought they were a human. They had a fairly human like body, their skin tone matched some of theirs and their gem was in no particular noticeable place, so it was easy to be mistaken for one.
How they had thought they were human was a completely odd topic all together. They just sort of...woke up one day. They had no memory, and was picked up by this human. She was a very kind human indeed. How ever, they had noticed the differences between them and the humans as years passed, main the point that the other human had no gem on their tongue. Odd isn't it? Another fact was that they didn't age, discovering that the hard ways after living though the hundreds years alone when their female human died. It's been so that they didn't even recall her name. Well, that was of no relevance today. Today was a sky day.

"White Granite, nice to meet you. I'm know as Smokey Quartz. At least, I think it is." They greeted in their dazed tone. They often forgot their name. Often enough to the point where they had to write in on the inside of their arm, but that was the human name given by their human. What what it called? Rachelle? Robert? Reilly? Not matter. However, the name Smokey Quartz calls out to them. It was something that just clicks.
At this point, they were sure this being before them was another one of those 'gems' as their kind were called. They could now clearly make out the gem in the center of the being;s forehead. "They sky is quite nice today isn't it?" they murmured aimlessly. There honestly was no point to the conversation they were trying to start, which leads them to the question of why try to start it in the first place? It will grant them nothing but the pleasure of company they would find with each other, but that alone was not worth much. It doesn't matter. They seemed to be doing a lot of meaningless things these days.
-
Smokey had trailed behind. They were still confused about their temporary lasp of memory, again. Though that time, it felt different. No matter. They had to focus on the situation at hand, or at least attempt to. They felt that they owed it to them after causing them trouble. They could tell what happened in that short time had upset them slightly, so they staid back and watched, silent and a bit more wary.
-
They blinked, surprise lighting their normally dazed eyes. They had what? They had never imagined, in their many hundreds of years of existence, dreamed if harming another sentient being. Okay, that was a lie..to an extent. However, those two were not snails. They did have some reason for living. Snails on the other hand, not so much.
They frowned, stepping back slightly, shrinking into themselves slightly. "I-" they paused, their voice wavering with confusion, "I'm not...a... forced fusion." they said, twiddling their fingers. "I have one gem in uniform face, you see?" they said, sticking out their tongue to reveal a dark cloudy brown gem. It was fairly normal looking, though looks can be deceiving.
-
The dazed gem watched from the cover of their vantage point, looking down on the other. The clear gem looked quite distressed in their eyes, but for what reason? What was really bizarre was the tail like appendage coming out of the gem's rear. They shivered as they imagined the feeling of having such an appendage. Repulsive.
They said quitly where they are, just content with gathering information on the other before even trying to interact with the other. They didn't want to startle anyone with their sudden appearance. They never ranked too high on the social ladder, though they made a good attempt.
-
The tittered nervously, their physical form becoming slightly more transparent as the stuck their tongue back onto their mouth. "I don't know." the said, voice quite and taken a back. Their dazed eyes were now swimming with confusion and pain. "I'm sorry, I really am. I didn't mean to you see..." they said, trying to apologize, trailing off lamely. They had no excuse for their actions, not will they try to come up with some.
They liked the silence, they really did. Shouting and harsh words frightened them. It made them nervous and anxious. They wrung their hands, feeling Kaynite's heated gaze on them. They hung their head, not wanting to make eye contact with the other, knowing that they had done wrong, regardless of them knowing it or not.
-
They shuffled their feet, choosing not to speak, though a small movement in a nod revealed that they heard Kyanite. They kept their gaze on the ground, much like how a young child would behave after a well deserved scolding from a parent. After a moment of pause however, they did decide to speak in the end. " S'okay." they muttered.
-
"Homeworld?" they questioned, looking up slightly. It sounded familiar, but from where? "Homeworld. Is that a place near here?" they questioned. They shuffled thier feet as they were prompted with another question. "My weapon..." the trailed off, as if trying to remember something important. "Is my own. I've had it since my awakening."
-
Smokey gave Clear an odd look. And they said they were the odd one. What in the name of all thing pure and clean in the world is that? They dark eyes held a peculiar light to them. Very odd, yet interesting at the same time.
-
They frowned. It seems like the other had gotten hurt. Well, they just happened to have what humans called a 'band-aid' on hand. With this, the approached the gem carefully from behind, not wanting to alarm them but they failed to realize that this is not how you greet someone.
-
They wrinkled their face in confusion. Was there a point in all of this? All the gems before them are doing things, intentionally may they add, to look silly. They didn't understand. On top of that, the other two were okay with being laughed at as well. The just didn't understand the nature of this gathering at all.
-
They tapped on the other gem's shoulder. "Excusee," they said in their dazed voice, "I noticed you were hurt. I brought a band aid." They said, holding out that item
-
Recap?
-
"A ply able adhesive for wounds." They murmured, giving the bandaid to the other gem. "Peel away the paper and apply the soft part to itm"

Smokey had long since decided to watch from the shadows. They knew the others did not feel safe in their company, but they couldn't bring them self to part with them. Be it that they had gotten attached to the kind nature of Jadeite of their natural curiosity of other gems like them, they didn't know. They rested in the form of a large, dark brown wolf curled under the bush, the gem pressing a bit awkwardly to the roof of their canine mouth. They were unsure to this form, but it didn't matter to them. As long as it was hard to recognize them as a gem and allowed them to watch over the rest, they were content. As long as they didn't stick their tongue out, the should be fine.
