Ahh, that's true. I thought about having the characters be childhood friends, going their separate ways in late adolescence or early adulthood, and reunited for a reason I haven't figured out yet. I would imagine the plot we have in mind above would become the central part of their adventure once it comes into gear or is discovered

I like that idea of the cursed character being cursed for her actions, growing evil, seeking out an old friend. The old friend (because they're not evil) wants to help after reuniting with their now cursed friend. I'd have to sit down and really develop a detailed character if you'd rather my character be the kinda evil one

Agnes DeChant | "Enthusiam is tempered in the furnace of the Earth."

Agnes coughed. The other Elemental's presence seemed week -- the woman looked fresh from battle. Agnes felt it strange that Life herself was losing it, but the irony in it ignited her passion. It was indeed time for all parties to exit the forest fire. Agnes was familiar with exactly two combat tactics: sundering the Earth (and using all the debris and magma that comes with it) or running away (or as she called it, "advancing in the opposite direction").

She looked to the sky to remember where the sun was before both the canopy and the smoke blocked it. "We go that way!" She cried, and took off in a sprint. She was heading the direction inverse to how she got her, and hoped the fellow elemental and her familiar would follow. It didn't strike her that the familiar would likely be faster than her, but Agnes was far more interested in just ushering them out rather than winning a race.

Agnes broke her sprint once the smoke was clear from the trio. She ended up sliding along the ground (think like a baseball player) once they made it to the grass beyond the trees. Once they had arrived to the grass, she felt Life's magic flare like a volcano, in a sense. She was silent as she watched the faerie struggle with her wound -- Agnes was stunned by both the sight and the shock of how much it seemed to hurt. Agnes had been in quite a few fights in her lifetime, although she couldn't judge to harshly as she has never had an arrow in her leg. "I'm no medic, dear... So, uh, this is gonna hurt. A lot." Agnes says, walking on her knees across the grass to the wounded lady. Her heart was still racing from sprinting out of the forest, and it kept going since she was being asked to pull the arrow out. While it was a bit shocking for the familiar to just... talk to her, Agnes didn't feel offended. There was a certain... urgency at play here. She gripped the arrow shaft and looked at the wounded woman. "Are... are you ready?" She asks. Her face and eyes showed great discomfort in doing this, mostly bracing for how gory or loud this could get.

Agnes felt a bit sick pulling out the arrow. She wasn't exactly a fan of stuff like surgery, stabbing, etc. Piercing the skin, essentially. It just felt... gross. She could see the discomfort and pain in Harmonia's facial expressions, which were not dissimilar to her own clearly uncomfortable expression during the "surgery." Although, the incredibly fast healing around the brutal wound seemed to hypnotize Agnes. She had never actually seen such magic before. "That's incredible..." She whispered to herself as Harmonia's wound closed.

"It's lovely to meet you two." Agnes said as she stood up. "My name is Agnes DeChant." She grinned widely after introducing herself, her snake influenced eyes and teeth becoming much more obvious. "I don't really know you, either, but I felt your presence through the Earth. It called to me..." She continued -- she felt obliged to explain the very much not coincidental timing of her arrival. "I purposefully navigated out here. I normally just travel around, helping protect the weak. The Earth guides me." She finished her piece, and then sat down in the ditch they had ended up in. "Tell me about yourself, Harmonia -- what had led you guys to being in that hell-scape of a forest?"
