Andi sighed, the woman watching through feline eyes as the tracks of the bullet trains came into view. It was about time. Pulling up next to them, she carefully walked her bike alongside the road and listened. Nothing could be heard, which she supposed was helpful timewise. Lifting her right arm, Andi pulled back the edge of her sleeve to look at the screen of her tablet -which was inside an arm brace. She carefully examined the coordinates.
"Hah...Really is a bit of a jog, I guess. Though I have to admit the building's not too shabby for this sort of thing..." she remarked. Brushing her hair out of her eyes, Andi quickly revved her bike up and bolted off along the train tracks. The faint, green glow from her bike illuminated her armored (and armed) form. It was beginning to darken, considering the shadowy clouds were rolling in from the forests. The woman found herself wishing for Texton, as the dragon would have shot off into the stormy sky with her like a bullet. He was on Doc-Watch though, so she guessed his purposes for remaining were acceptable.
Laughing, Andi leaned outwards and watched as a train came zipping by. She quickly sped after it, keeping an eye on her tablet as she drove backalley of the building where the meeting would be housed. It had better be a d@mn good meeting if I have to work overtime because of it. Parker will not be pleased...[hr]
Parker twitched, the cervian yet again batting at Texton with a large book. He was trying to get something done! Couldn't the dragon see that?!
"You know what. We're going outside again, Tex. I can't even think with you jumping around like a puppy," he announced, grabbing Texton by his collar. The large beast whined, though was happy enough when Parker ruthlessly kicked the front door open. Sighing, Parker happily slumped down on one of the porch's steps -quilt and book shielding him from the wind as he worked on his tablet. It was colder outside, yes, but at least Texton was bothering the passerbys instead of him.
Impervious to the looks he received (I mean, really, why would anyone even bother to try containing something like Texy?), Parker continued to update and cover whatever he could from patients. He still couldn't believe several people got into a fight over something like a pack of kitten stickers. Who does that, anyways? And then there was the fact he'd have to find some coverage for sending half of his patients still bleeding back into the streets. He didn't exactly want to use the "I'm a fifteen year old medic who's sister is a top member of Harmony". It got him shot. So Parker just sat there on the porch, typing out "I was infected and fevered and didn't want to kill you," apologies, as Texton tried to interact with everyone passing by like they would give him free candy. Yep. A perfect night.//Feel free to jump in at any time w/ Parker, Magnet :3 I write a little different for him, but I honestly don't know how not to use that sort of tone for him.
Oh, and I forgot to say, Smol. -your fancypost is perfectly fine
I quite like it!Agnes was riding the bullet train, sitting near the front of the thing. It was very close to the destination. She felt quite nervous about this whole thing. I wonder what our purpose is doing this. It just felt mandatory I go. The train had a fair amount of riders. It wasn't a midnight train but it wasn't peak hours. I should call Parker when I get there. I'm sure he would have something interesting to say. I hate to have to leave the city, but I do what I have to. After unboarding, she called Parker.

"Parker...are you going to the thing tonight? Or did you find yourself just not catching a lucky break?" She navigated the city slowly, as the sun was preparing to set and the city was preparing to come alive for the night. "Or, or! Do you just not feel compelled to go?"
-
((Which one of you registered the CARNIFEX?))
-
"I'm not sure how to help you here. I'm sorry you can't go..." She frowned. "You have a sister? Has she already arrived?" She followed the directions she had written down while on the phone. She started feeling something she hadn't really felt a whole lot of...it's kinda like excitement and nervousness. Maybe there's a lot of life to live outside the office.
-
((Oh yeah I forgot to ask...what's a cervian))
"Fair enough...I'm sure you'll figure out what's happening vicariously." She hadn't quite arrived yet. She had stopped to finish her phone conversation. -
I like it...
-
"Nah, I'll be fine. I come armed everywhere. Even my operations." She smiled. "I'll call you or just use your sister to relay anything that happened." She checked her watch and realized she had to hurry along. She entered the building, which was several blocks away. "I'll have to talk some other time."
-
Taking in the details of the project felt made her feel more anxious. Almost a tugging from two ways feeling. She would accept the position. It's almost as if this was bound to happen. But why am I important here? How could I possibly help in doing this thing? The room is still more full than I thought. "Refrain from shooting? It's not like we'll totally murder the entire room." She mused at the thought.
((Does this mean we're THE EMPEROR'S FURY?))
((Don't feel bad about short posts. I usually find myself writing mostly filler...I just wanna get to the point with my RP posts))

Agnes would approach the group, waiting for conversation to spark before speaking.
((Something of a filler post to show that she's at least paying attention))

"Why doesn't the Commander lead us? Or perhaps someone with any actually experience in politicking and combat?" While she had neither of these experience, she was fluid in understanding and speaking the enemy alien language. She doesn't remember why or what for, though.
-
"Mm, right, friend." She followed Parker's sister. "Well, I'd be more than happy to lead if only I knew more about the specifics. The general explanation we received just isn't enough information for me to throw my name into the hat." She said with worry.
-
((well, now what))
-
((whatever works))
-
"Well, I-I probably shouldn't drink." She frowned. "I wouldn't want to have to deal with the liquid sloshing around inside."
-
"No, no, you don't understand! I don't technically have a liver or a kidney or blood."
