[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]Instinctively, she jumped back when hearing him, especially noting that he was male. But the crippled feline forced herself to calm down and took a deep breath, calming the anxiety that had spread through her so fast - that had made her blood go cold. He was asking if she was okay so he certainly wasn't a threat. Even so, Delilah would err on the side of caution, not really wanting to take any chances. She didn't want a repeat of last time.

Before answering, she allowed herself to look him over. The first thing she noticed was how worried he looked. She bit her lip, looking down at her paws instead of making eye contact. That always happened. It was always the same old pity look that everyone gave her. First it started with her weight and then it turned into worry when they heard what had happened to hear. Worry for her life. As she was staring at her dark feet, she saw the bandages wrapped around his forepaws out of the corner of her eye. The first thing that went through her mind was, Woah, how did he do that? Did he fall? And then Del realized that those weren't injuries that happened by accidentally slipping and hitting a rock. It had to be self harm. She bit her lip again, tasting blood in her mouth. She wasn't suicidal and that was a good thing, but it broke her heart to think that he was. And she didn't even know him.

"Oh yes, sir. I'm okay. Just wasn't expecting company, was all." Her voice was as sweet as honey and although it was more dull now than it used to be, her words still rang like bells. It was a pity, that some never heard her talk before this dull time in her life. It was exquisite, the way her voice sanded. And it still sounded beautiful now, but just a little more bland. "Might I ask what you're doing?" She tilted her head, intrigued at finally seeing someone else in this little garden. Was he studying the plants like she so often did? As she was thinking about how wonderful it was, it dawned on her that she was being completely rude. And she wasn't raised like that - no matter what was going on in her life at the moment. "My name is Delilah. And you are?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]Well, technically, that didn't answer her question and Delilah tilted her head, a smile gracing her features as he joked with her. It was nice, to smile so genuinely like that. He was nice and made her feel less shitt-y today. The seal point took a steadying breath and cleared her throat before responding, "Well, then it makes sense why you are here and it makes my reason for being here a little more dumb." A small chuckle escaped her lips. "I like to study the plants and herbs that grow here." It sounded childish - like she was playing with them and she bit her lip slightly, hoping that he wouldn't think she was completely ridiculous.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Billy Bibbit. I like your name." Delilah nodded encouragingly at the other feline, hoping it would reassure him. The underweight female saw the worry take over his features again and she let her warm blue gaze drop back down to her paws, not wanting to look him in the eye and lie to him. "Well, I've been a little sick lately, but I've already been looked at and given some medicine." If she was smarter, she would have come up with a better lie because honestly, that one was ridiculous. There were hardly any diseases or sicknesses that would cause her to loose as much weight as she had lost, without it being fatal eventually. And she didn't sound sick and she didn't really look sick - except for, of course, the horribly skinny body she was walking around in.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]It was getting more and more difficult to continue going on like this. Never going out of her colorful house on the hill. And if she did, she flinched and pulled away at anyone's touch. She avoided everyone around her, hoping that no attention would be drawn to her. This often led her out of the ColouredClan camp. This was pretty difficult for her, considering her "problem leg". The leg was always dragging behind her and the pretty girl had no control over it and had learned to strengthen her other three legs and use those instead.

Today was a good day physically. Delilah was able to make it all the way out of ColouredClan's territory. But the seal point soon became exhausted and was forced to take a seat on top of a rock in an tall grassy field. The day was warm, so the strikingly beautiful feline set her head on her paws, trying to relax.

That clearly wasn't going to be the case today. Today was obviously going to be a bad day emotionally. The young ColouredClan warrior squeezed her eyes shut, wondering how in the world she was going to keep doing this. She missed Castiel - her love. She missed the babies that died inside of her. Oh, how badly she wanted to have a family. But it seemed like that would never happen for her.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px][justify]The very petite feline was sitting at the garden that she had been taking care of for the past couple of months. It was right down the street from her secluded house on the hill and the seal point considered this her little hideaway. She grew things from common flowers to strange herbs that she really had no use for. She nursed them and planted them and took care of them. It was almost as if these little plants were her children. It was quite possible that that was exactly why she was pouring all of her time into this little garden. Her litter was still born so she was giving these plants all of her love and attention.

Right now, the sad girl was picking some of the flowers, putting them in a small satchel that was across her shoulders. Her bones were protruding from her beautiful fur, making the bag sit awkwardly on her back. She didn't notice. Delilah was careful to not crush the plants as she placed them carefully in the brown bag, humming to herself.
