(personality) T'Challa's primary mode of living is focused externally, and he deals with things rationally and logically. His secondary mode is internal, where he takes things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. T'Challa lives in a world of facts and concrete needs. He lives in the present, his eyes constantly scanning his personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. Luke honors traditions and laws, and has a clear set of standards and beliefs. He fully expects the same of others, and has no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. Luke values competence and efficiency, and likes to see quick results for their efforts. The man is take-charge kind of guy. He has such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that he naturally steps into leadership roles. T'Challa is self-confident and aggressive. He is extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. Luke can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because he holds such strongly held beliefs, and is likely to express himself without reserve if he feels someone isn't meeting his standards. But at least Luke's expressions can be taken at face-value, because Luke is extremely straight-forward and honest. The man is usually a model citizen, and pillar of the community. He takes his commitments seriously, and follows his own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. Luke enjoys interacting with people, and likes to have fun. T'Challa can be very boisterous and fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work. (history) T'Challa is the son of T'Chaka, late king of the African nation Wakanda. When lawless ivory hunter Ulysses Klaw murdered T'Chaka in an attempt to possess the country's rare Vibranium deposit, a grief-stricken T'Challa swore vengeance and succeeded in thwarting the butcher's raid. In the process, the young prince destroyed Klaw's hand. Educated at the finest schools in Europe and America, T'Challa returned to his homeland bearing a degree in physics and ready to assume the mantle of leadership. To do so required he pass two tests: defeat six of Wakanda's greatest warriors in unarmed combat, and obtain the secret heart-shaped herb that grants the country's chieftains their powers. Successfully carrying out the dual challenge, T'Challa donned the ceremonial garb of the Black Panther, totem of the Wakandan people. Under T'Challa, Wakanda has become one of the wealthiest and most technologically advanced nations on the planet. That did not stop SHIELD from coming to his homeland, and in an effort to keep his people from being harmed T'Challa offered himself over to SHIELD in exchange for the safety of his people. T'Challa has been at Boarwood for six months now.
