She couldn't help but giggle at his severe reaction to her offers. She had a feeling he wouldn't be too inclined to do any such things (aside from the pillow part and she wasn't joking there, she was notorious in the nursery for being a communal pillow for the kits thanks to her soft fur and her sweet scent.) Still, his reaction relieved her a little, she hoped that meant there wasn't anything he wanted to yell about but them again, that felt like wishful thinking. Her silver gaze softened as he called her kind. Sam had told her the same thing, or at least implied it, but sometimes she wavered. Was it true kindness or a selfish desire to be liked that made her like this, her body and mind corrupting itself to be this behavior for the affection she craved? Thinking about it made her stomach twist and she shook the thought away. "You're kind too! I'm pretty sure the kits in the nursery worship you after you brought them back so many rabbits," she purred proudly, remembering the awe on Fleecekit's face especially when she told him. He was so adorable, so was his sister, she wanted desperately to snuggle the two as if they were her own kits sometimes.
His next words made her relaxed expression fall if only for a moment before she swiftly recovered it before it was too late. She felt he only said those things for her sake and while she appreciated it, she could not change the past. She was done dwelling on it, too- she wanted nothing more to move on. And for him to move on, to grow, to become stronger and realize how great of a person he was. Which was an admittedly long-term project. She offered a gentle smile at he finished and tilted her head, tufted ears flopping to the side a little. "Well, everyone's unpredictable! Life would be boring otherwise." She laughed, the sound light and singsong as she eagerly changed subjects. At his invitation she purred gratefully with an eager nod, bounding into is room and pausing.
It was clean. She didn't know what to expect but she knew what she remembered: things in disarray, a snapped rope, a limp body and the dust settling from everything, the smell of herbs and tea. It still had a similar smell but now it was considerably muted. The noose was gone, thankfully, but the cleanliness seemed almost deliberate like he had been scrubbing dirt from between his claws trying to erase any thought of it ever being there. Regardless, she didn't dwell too much on it and padded into the room with a yawn, settling into a sit with a big grin on her face. "Man, I never realized how comfy the cabins are! I must have grown used to sharing breathing space with the Interns before, and now I just sleep in a cave-" Oh, whoops. That's why her rambling was dangerous. She seemed uncertain for a moment before pretending to laugh it off and move on quickly. [b]"How's your leg? It bums that you broke it, you were a really good climber! I'll have to climb with you one day, I used to be really good but I was also super reckless and those things don't blend well."
