Dragonclaw looked sideways at Furnacestar, giving a look that said, we should tell her. if we don't, it'll just make her mad.

Dragonclaw gave a slight nod, telling Deer it was okay. "Go on, have a little fun," he said. "It might take your mind off your troubles for a bit."

((Sry for not replying to here in a while, i've been a little busy with some stuff.))

Dragonclaw sat in the middle of camp, watching events unfold. He sighed and thought to himself, This can't continue. Someone needs to do something about all the hate towards our fellow clan members. Well, at least Deer seems to be adjusting quickly, so i'm glad about that.

While all this was happening, Dragonclaw sat in the middle of camp, being the silent observer he usually was...that is, until something rustled in the bushes nearby, causing him to get up and go to where the sound came from.

((I'm thinking this would be a good spot for Sunpaw to come into the RP.))

Dragonclaw was still searching for the source of the rustling sound from earlier. He'd been searching for a couple hours without any sort of result, so he headed back to camp. When he arrived, he noticed Snowpaw lying on the ground, deep welts in her flank covered carefully with cobwebs. Alarmed, he ran over. "Snowpaw, what happened? I heard some yelling while i was out searching for something, or maybe someone, but..." He noticed Deer and Shadowpaw were nowhere to be found. "Where are Deer and Shadowpaw? Did you guys...have a falling out of sorts or something?"

Dragonclaw nodded. "Yeah, I'll find him," he said. He started to walk away, then turned and said, "I'll be back in 10 minutes, 20 minutes tops. If I'm not back with Deer by then, call for help."

((Can anyone guess the movie I'm referencing with the "be back in 10 minutes, 20 minutes tops"?))

He caught Deer's scent trail, then hurriedly followed it into the woods.

((It's Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" with Eddie Murphy as the dad. His "signature phrase" (at least to me) was "I'll be back in 15 minutes, 20 minutes tops. If I'm not back by then, go get Mom."))

Dragonclaw stopped when he noticed Deer. "Deer!" he shouted. "It's just me, Dragonclaw! Snowpaw asked me to come get you. She seemed worried about you. I think we should head back together so you two can talk about whatever happened, cause she tried to tell me "it was nothing," but it's obviously not "nothing."

Dragonclaw narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Don't lie to me, Deer!" he hissed. "People who lie to me quickly become my enemies, and you wouldn't want me as an enemy. Snowpaw asked me to find you, and I pretty much promised her I wouldn't come back without you, so you're coming back to camp with me one way or another!"

((Hmm. I dunno. It sounds cool, yes, but how would it work out? I mean, I don't believe there are any herbs that grow around a volcanic island that can expel evil spirits, so I guess someone would have to literally beat it out of Deer. I know Dragonclaw would do that for the clan's sake, and i guess afterwards Deer and Dragonclaw can have a sort of brotherly bond. What do you think?))

"Look at me when I talk to you, Deer!" he shouted. "I may not know exactly what happened between you and Snowpaw, but I do know that unless you get back to camp to sort it out, things are only going to get worse between everyone involved, and now that I'm involved, this could end very badly for anyone who gets in my way!"

((Ok, I just came up with another something to add to Dragonclaw's backstory. He's seen possessions like the one that came over Deer just now before during his travels, and he knows the only way to expel the evil spirit is to literally beat it out of the possessed cat. Also, he and Jasper have a bit of a history, as Jasper tried to possess him once.))

Dragonclaw raced back to camp as fast as he could. He'd seen this kind of thing before. Deer was possessed! But which Dark Forest cat could be possessing Deer? He'd figure that out soon enough. When he got back to camp, he noticed Deer standing over Snowpaw, grinning evilly. There's only one Dark Forest cat evil enough to do this and enjoy it with such intensity, he thought. "Jasper!" he shouted.

I'm thinking Dragonclaw could take on Shadowpaw as an apprentice, since Sunpaw doesn't seem to be here.

Dragonclaw scowled. "Possessing a mere kit, Jasper?" he hissed. "You've sunken far lower than I ever thought you could. Deer is under the protection of InfernoClan, so unless you leave his body and fight me like a real cat, which I know you're perfectly capable of doing since you're powerful enough to nearly possess me, I'll be forced to beat you out of him! And I'd hate to do that to the poor kit."

"Deer's body is stronger than you'd expect, Jasper," Dragonclaw snarled. "He can survive." With that, Dragonclaw pounced, claws extended, aiming to rake the Dark Forest cat across the face.

Dragonclaw nimbly leaped sideways, but not before feeling a slight burn in his flank. He turned and, with a loud yowl, leaped at Jasper, aiming to rake his flank in retaliation.

Dragonclaw nimbly skirted past Jasper's front paws and leaped on top of him, aiming to pin him down.

"I'm pretty sure i can handle this, but a little help wouldn't hurt," Dragonclaw said while circling Jasper, looking for an opportunity to close in. "Give up, Jasper," he growled. "You know you don't stand a snowflake's chance in the devil's land against me in a fight."

"Do I think I'm stronger than you?" Dragonclaw scoffed. "I know I'm stronger than you. You couldn't even possess me when I was still weak compared to what I am now! Or did you conveniently forget about that because it didn't go your way? Either way, I'm stronger than you, faster than you by a long shot, and definitely meaner when it comes to fighting, especially when it's against a lowlife such as yourself!"

((Wow, this is getting intense to the point where I kinda feel like I'm personally part of this!))

Dragonclaw expertly leaped sideways, laughing. "See?" he said. "You're mad because you know it's true. And since you tried to possess me once, I know exactly how you fight. See, during the brief time you were trying to possess me, I saw into your mind. That allows me to know exactly how to defeat you." He looked over at Ebonymoss. "Now!" he cried.
