Flare looked at Phoenix and Dark Magician Girl. "Luma's, um, my girlfriend," he said.
Phoenix's eyes widened. "Wait," he said. "You're the same Luma that Flare never stopped telling us about?"
Dark Magician Girl looked at Luma suspiciously, judging the Sylveon's character. She seems nice enough, the Zoroark thought to herself. But is she really the right Pokemon for our leader?
-
"Pika, what did they do to you, man?" Phoenix asked. "You're, like, a cyborg now!" He shook his head. "I'm not so sure how Red is going to react to that."
Flare shoved Phoenix. "Phoenix, why you always gotta bring up the dark side of everything, huh?" he asked rather harshly. "I mean, come on! We've all had it pretty f**king rough at the Labs, and we're just now getting our sh*t together, and then you come and dampen the mood! What's wrong with you? Show a little respect! Just because you got off easier than the majority of us doesn't give you the right to be a f**king douchebag about it!"
Dark Magician Girl nodded. "Flare has a point," she agreed. "You got away with just a second ability and a color change, while the majority of us have major physical differences, like wings or...or robot parts, or...or being stuck mid-evolution!"
-
(oh, so now it's a 4th wall break war?! I can join that!)
Flare looked at Luma. "Well, in the rules she did say that cursing is allowed but it has to be starred out, which my RPer did do," he said quite smugly.
-
"Dragon believes that sometimes, the simplest way to convey displeasure with a situation is with an actual curse word," Flare shot back.
-
(well, leadership kinda seems to be between Flare and Pika, so there's that.)
-
Flare looked around. "Come on, guys," he said, "we gotta get moving in case more Rockets come after us." With that, he started heading south, away from the Labs.
Phoenix nodded and flew slightly above the trees, keeping an eye on Flare and Pika, making sure they were okay.
Dark Magician Girl sighed sadly as she was walking. I miss Yugi, she thought.
-
(bajeezus! I leave for a while to do some stuff on facebook and this thread explodes.)
Flare felt Luma's presence leave his side, and he frowned to himself. He really enjoyed having her beside him. He looked at Pika.
(idk what to do at the moment!)
-
Flare heard Shadow and Luma's conversation and whipped around to face Shadow. "Are you trying to flirt with my girl, Shadow?" he asked accusingly.
-
Flare sighed, not fully convinced that Shadow was just making friendly conversation with his girlfriend. "My name's Flare," he said, a bit harshly.
Phoenix continued flying above the group, keeping an eye out for any potential threats.
Dark Magician Girl walked along silently, thinking about Yugi and hoping he wouldn't mind her mutations.
-
Flare looked at Luma. "Sorry, it's just...I'm a little protective." He turned to Pika. "What did you want to talk about, old friend?" he asked.
Phoenix kept an eye out overhead, watching everyone as they continued walking.
Dark Magician Girl sighed sadly, thinking about Yugi and wondering how her friends were.
(Could Dark Magician Girl get an old friend to catch up with?)
-
"What about it?" Flare asked, looking at Pika in concern.
(Sure, rabbit!)
-
(Her trainer is Yugi Muto...she's always been known as Dark Magician Girl due to her Illusion ability, just like the card Dark Magician Girl is a Spellcaster monster)
Flare nodded. "Of course he does. I saw him in a dream, where I was back home. He told me that he doesn't care that we're mutated, because we're still his friends, that he'd be at home when we got back, and to tell you that he never abandoned us. He dropped us off at Oak's lab after his loss at Mt. Silver at the hands of Ethan since he needed some time to get himself together. That loss really crushed his spirit, you know. But he's fine now and back in Pallet Town at his house. Oh, and, uh...that kid, Ash? Apparently he started his Pokemon journey while Red was training on Mount Silver. He met up with Ethan shortly before Ethan beat Red. Apparently some big stuff happened while we were trapped in there. Mewtwo got free and nearly destroyed the world, and Ash stopped him, Arceus nearly destroyed the world, too, and Ash stopped him...the list goes on, but Ash still can't compare to Red."
-
(Ack! gone for...how long was I gone? and it explodes again)
Flare nodded. "Exactly my point," he said. "Red's the best there is."
Dark Magician Girl spun around, recognizing the Irish accent. "Emmet?!" she exclaimed in surprise. "What...what did they do to you?"
-
(okay, other than Flare, who were my characters? and geez, this thread got active all of a sudden while I was away. update me?)
-
accepted! nothing's really going on right now, so feel free to make something happen.

I just remembered why your cat's name looked so familiar... You were in InfernoClan with me!
good to see someone finally got the messages from the old clan! welcome to DragonClan! i decided to name it DragonClan instead of FireClan because of the sheer amount of FireClans out there. :)
-
Dragonstar padded back into the camp, holding a squirrel in his jaws, which he dropped on the fresh-kill pile, then noticed Ambergaze and walked over to her. "Ambergaze," he said.
-
"Rather well, thank you. I appreciate you coming with me and Deer when we chose to start this clan. It... means a lot to me." He looked down as he felt his face go red.
-
Dragonstar smiled at Ambergaze. "I know you would. That's why I truly appreciate the fact that you came with me and Deer when InfernoClan fell apart after the incident with Jasper." He shuddered at the memory of standing inside Deer's mind. "I still haven't forgiven myself for beating up Deer, you know."
-
Dragonstar nodded as he looked into Ambergaze's eyes, trying to read her emotions. Suddenly his old wound from before he joined InfernoClan flared up again, and he winced, leaning on Ambergaze for support.
