Hello there, readers (:
After some exploring, I've come to realize that I have quite a few interests here, including:
-Harry Potter
-Realistic Humans (historical fiction, modern day, etc.[Merlin, medieval/royalty])
-Fantasy (medieval stuff with dragons and gryphons and such)
-Vampires
-The Main Game
-Romance (for any of the above ^)
If you'd like to start a thread under any of these topics, let me know! I won't bite, I promise c;

The window fogged on her breath. Cressida Grandstaff stared out of the frail glass window at the falling snow. Her head turned as she heard her mother enter the room. "Cressida, darling, get away from the window, and come closer to the fire. It's going to snow all night," Mrs. Grandstaff sighed, turning up the volume on the Christmas music that played as she trimmed the tree. The aging woman stood back to admire for a moment, before stepping back in to rearrange a few ornaments. Cressida watched her for a moment before she stood up, moving closer. "So I heard something interesting last night..." she started. Her mother didn't look up, as she adjusted a reindeer. "Oh? And what is it?" she murmured. "Papa said we're bankrupt." Cressida said bluntly. Mrs. Grandstaff dropped the ornament, it shattering in the porcelain floor. She turned to her daughter, fuming. "Do not bring this up again! It is none of your concern. Don't you dare say a word to anyone about this, do you understand me?"
-
Cressida was thankful that her parents always went to bed early. She was to meet Lucifer at the broken lamp post six blocks north from the Grandstaff Manor. After she ensured she was cozy in bed, and she had given her parents time to settle down, she quickly dressed, pulling on a cost and scarf. She grabbed her cell phone and climbed down the ivy wall from her bedroom balcony. Beginning to walk, she shuddered, watching her warm breath on the bitter air. The seventeen year old made good time, spotting Lucifer. What a strange name for a young man. She approached cautiously, never having really liked him. Actually, she hated his guts and wanted to post his head on a stake, but that was beside the point. "Lucifer." Cressida's smooth voice floated on the wind.

She looked down. "I overheard Papa tell Mother that our family fortune has run out," she murmured. She hated ad,it ting such a thing to him, but perhaps he could help. She didn't dare look up into his eyes. She played with the footprints her boots left in the snow, letting her hot breath float up onto her cold face.
-
She looked up at him, eyes piercingly warm. "Unfortunately, I am not. My mother struck me earlier when I asked about it and forbade I ever spoke of it again," she said, rubbing her hands together briskly, hoping to create friction. She did seem.. Not as energetic as usual. Exhaustion was catching up with her, for some unknown reason.
-
The young heiress suddenly stopped rubbing her hands together. Her eyes narrowed as she said, "We don't want your money, Satan. And no, you are not supposed to know this information. Have you not been listening to me?" The warmth in her gaze was gone, replaced by frustration.

Princess Maisie was a simple girl. She had grown up without a mother, and she was distant from her father. The princess herself was quite lovely. She was pale, like a porcelain doll, with piercing green eyes and dark curls to go with it. She wasn't but seventeen as maids prepared her for her birthday ball. The clouds outside darkened as carriages from near and far pulled up to the entrance of the grand castle, kings and queens, Dukes and duchesses, princes and princesses, got out to join her father in the ballroom. Maisie watched from her bedroom window, her curls pulled up elegantly. She wore a lovely blue gown, with a matching circlet in replacement of her tiara.

You can be her love interest. Whether that be a guard, or a prince, or whatever.
Princess Odette was the only daughter of the aging king. They ruled a sleepy kingdom, a population of only five thousand. They exported wines and produce, and their kingdom was on the high end of the wealthy bar. With the king's aging, he decided to bring her coming-of-age ceremony a year closer, just for safety precautions. Odette's watched from her bedroom window as darkening clouds gathered on the southern border, making it seem as though the light were coming from the north. It was the end of May, and very warm outside. Rain could be smelled from miles away. The princess was pale as a porcelain doll, accompanied with green eyes and soft brown curls. She shooed her handmaidens away, insisting she could dress herself. She wore a lovely burgundy gown, with a matching circlet in replacement of her tiara.

Anxiety coursed through her body. She nodded graciously to the secretary at the front desk, who had just called her in for the big boss to see before sitting down in a nearby chair to wait. Maisie Grandstaff was a British lawyer, very well known for her work. Though, she wasn't obsessed with her practice. She held degrees in medicine and music as well. Maisie tapped her heel on the wooden floors anxiously as she pulled out her phone, to check emails and such.
