"Thanks Haku.." Tao said softly. She really hated Thurr, and wanted him dead so much, but she couldnt bring herself to do it. And it was easier this way. An outside dragon killed Thurr. In Kaka society he wouldve had a trial first. Even if he had been found guilty and given a death sentence, it wouldve taken awhile.

"No, as much as Id like too.. I want to leave here. You know what I mean? Im tired of this place. I know the Kakas, theyll regroup, rebuild and fix up the situation. I believe in them. Ill be back soon. I have something else I want to do.." Tao looked at her fellow Kaka's when she said that last part. She turned back to Haku and Tayuya. "Lets go."

"Good.. I want to revive my mom. And my dad, and the rest of my family," Tao informed him. "We are going to find that witch."

Tao grinned. So finally Haku was up for it! Before he was against it terribly. Now that he showed his approval, she felt happiness.

"You guys cant leave yet! You need rest!" the nurse Kaka blurted. "You guys were just in a battle. Surely you know just how bad the desert can be? You need to make preparations before you can go!"

"Theres a way to make it easier to pass through the desert," the nurse Kaka said. "Just rest the night and you can leave in the morning."

"Just come back into the Palace. Ill explain later," she said. She and another Kaka carried Takeo back inside.

Tao nodded and flew back inside. Even she could see they needed rest.

"My name is Theakaka," the nurse Kaka told them as she led them to their room. "I mean.. I know who you are Tao, and Im sure you know me. But I dont know the rest. Who are all of you?"

"Oh... Well its nice to meet you," she said in a friendly voice. "Here, heres your guys room, she said motioning with her tail. "In the morning you can leave. Ill show you how to make crossing the desert easier. Now I need to get back to the wounded." Thea crawled away.

Tao waved her tail. She pushed open the stone doors and slid inside. "Well okay.. Now what?"

"Yeah.. Now lets get some rest," Tao said as she curled up and closed her eyes.

ooc: just had an earthquake here! :P it was pretty shaky XD

ic: Tao awoke the next day. She still felt sore from the previous day, but she got up and stretched her four wings.

ooc: i mean.. i was just sitting here, then the entire place just starts shaking and i started freaking XD

ic: Tao smiled at her friend. "Hi, howd you sleep?" she asked softly.

"Oh yeah, lets go get something to eat!" Tao said. She pushed back the doors and crawled out. "Here follow me guys."

"Yep!" Tao said with a laugh. "Lets eat!" she said, nudging a door open. The door led to the mess hall. There were many Kaka dragons scrambling around. Laid out were lizards and all sorts of other food.

"Oh yeah, our hunters go out every morning and catch this much food.. for everyone else. They are really dedicated and what keep the entire Kaka civilization alive. Everyone owes a great deal to them," Tao explained as she crawled up to a stack of freshly caught food.

"Yeah.. The Kakas have always been this way.. Ever since Tseptimkaka the 1st," she explained slurping up a snake. "Way back in the Tsemptim Dynasty. With a huge expanse of desert all around.. Its hard to live seperatly. So he united all of us."

"Theres been a few.." Tao said with a frown. "But ultimately the Kakas live on. Actually.. Ivisia didnt use to be all desert," she explained. "In fact at the very beginning it was pretty flourishing. Or so is told. Ever since my parents, and I have been alive its been a sweltering desert, but there used to be vegetation and water. Im not too sure how long ago.. Im not a history nut.." she said with a chuckle. "Honestly I dont know too much about our history."

ic: Tao shrugged, "I dont know.. Its been a desert for a century or more.. Probably more. I dont know what happened exactly. Maybe some Kaka does know though. Im not sure."

Tao frowned and looked down, "Well.. maybe I have my times messed up.. I told you I wasnt very good at this whole history thing."

"Of course, thats what its there for," Tao answered with a laugh.
