The little sleek flakes of new snow clung to her paws, making her shiver slightly as she pranced through the field. Winterkit blinked her beautiful light sparkling eyes towards the light blue sky, the sun bright but cold. The air was crisp like how it always was when it snowed. The breeze ruffled her frozen fur, the cold gusts blowing snowflakes into her face and making her grimace against the wind. Winterkit trodded on, knowing something was calling her towards this place. Towards some place. But she didn't know where.
The young kit slowed her pace as unfamiliar scents washed across her nose. She twitched her ears self-consciously, blinking as she shuffled her paws and came to a stop. Winterkit sat down slowly, squeezing her eyes shut as the cold snow froze her bottom. She shivered slightly and huffed out a white breath of air, flicking her tail slowly back and forth as she waited for something-or someone to come to her. This was a Clan, was it not? They patrol and find newcomers? I sure hope so! I don't want to freeze to death out here! Winterkit pleaded in her mind, shaking her head slightly as her light blue eyes scanned the snowy horizon. She couldn't see anything alive. But that didn't mean there still wasn't animals out there.
So she waited.
