[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]a young kitten, barely able to stand on his four white paws, wobbled his way along the camp ground. looking down, he watched his small paws as he stepped over dirt, grass, small rocks and sticks and other form of debris. this whole idea of walking was new to him, as he was used to dragging himself along the ground with his front paws and pushing with his back. but he was getting older now, and growing fast - which meant that it wasn't before long that he was able to stand and sort of move on all fours.

the slight wind of the day wrapped itself around pal's dull brown fur, pushing it and sending it in all directions. he was still a ball of fluff, and a tiny one at that - but it was alright with him. it kept him warm.. sort of. he was taken in by a lovely feline of the name showpaw, and although he was too small at the time to remember anything but blizzardclan, he would grow to be incredibly grateful for the young male in time. before long he smacked his head into a small boulder - since he was looking at his paws and not up he wasn't able to tell that it was there. palmer fell onto his bottom and decided to press himself against it, looking around with huge brown eyes, waiting for something to happen. he didn't know how to call out a meet and greet or he would have done so, but he secretly hoped that he would get to meet some of blizzardclan's valued members today. maybe he would be one of their valued members one day. the thought of it was exciting.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]turning his head, the kitten let out a little squeal. hopefully she hadn't seen his embarrassing smash into the rock - that wouldn't look very good on his part, would it? although palmer was glad the first to approach him was another kitten. she was still older but that was alright with him. he had in fact understood what the other said to him. he knew hi was a form of greeting, and he repeated it now. hi, palmer echoed. this was a word he'd said before on a few occasions. next was her name - he knew this too. what she said before her name was just a form of introductory, he supposed, which he also had used before. i'm palmer. he spoke. it was choppy but it was good enough for now.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]the next to approach the group was none other than a little furball that went by the name of palmer. he wobbled along and stopped next to showpaw before falling over into a heap of dull brown fur. hi, i'm palmer. he was getting good at this. with each and every time he spoke, the words began to flow smoother instead of the original, choppy syllables that they once were. in time he would be able to speak in paragraphs! oh, there were so many words that he hadn't even heard of yet. endless amounts of words. the thought of speaking excited him. it was so intriguing.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]palmer wasn't all that far off from where the femme was - he wasn't that surprised that she hadn't seen him, his fur made him look like a little speck of dirt anyway. he had definitely seen her, and what came from her mouth after was something he'd never heard before. palmer had recently been introduced to the idea of speaking, but never had he even thought that there was something else to do with words.

it was like speaking, but the way the words would be said and dragged were different. the tone of voice used. it was - beautiful. he waddled up to the femme, eyes wide. hi! he squealed. he wanted to know how to do that too. that sound.. good! palmer would have used something better to explain it, but he was still young, and his vocabulary wasn't all that wonderful as of yet. it was something he was working on.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]her excitement made the little kitten giggle. she threw together another few words for him, and he caught most of them. he took from it that she was happy to meet him, and he nodded afterwards. me too! the other paused once more, and spoke again. she wanted to be friends? of course! who would turn down an offer like that? i do! he meowed, proud of himself for already making friends so soon. and someone close to his age too? it would be wonderful!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]hi, the kitten meowed as he approached the group. he had been to a few of these meet and greets before, and enjoyed them. he thought it was a great way to get to know everyone around him. i'm palmer. he squeaked, looking at the cub. they were near the same age, and yet the other was so much larger than he. palmer would soon learn the differences between different types of felines soon enough.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]the dull brown kitten was the next to join the group. he didn't know exactly what was going on, although what he took from it was that one cub was looking hostile, and the other? well she was asking to stay. so she was from the outside? palmer approached her and sniffed, a little alert at first. she didn't seem too threatening. he knew the rules of blizzardclan, but it still seemed out of place for someone as young as him to say that she could join. what if he got in trouble? no, that wouldn't be the case. maybe the cub would get mad at him for letting her in without knowing all that about the outsider? in that case, the femme would be there and he thought he could wobble away pretty fast. you can stay. he decided to meow after all. i'm palmer.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]hmm? gifts? he'd never heard of these before. he padded up to everyone else saying thanks and looking incredibly grateful, so he thought he should too. thank. he meowed quickly, nodding his head and smiling. he couldn't see exactly what was inside the basket, but that was alright. he was bound to find out sooner or later anyway.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]ohahoeahoeahoohoeea

palmer could sense her constant shifts in mood, even at his age. he couldn't quite understand it yet, but pal would definitely work on it sooner or later. yeah! he agreed with decemberkit, and tipped his head when she trailed off for a few moments. the dull brown kitten waited to see what she would say next. it was a question. what did he want to do? oh, he had no idea at all. since this was his first friend, he didn't exactly know what friends did either. hmm. the male thought for a bit, before conjuring up the obvious thing to do. let's.. he desperately searched for the words in his head. play a game!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]although the first to approach wasn't one that the femme was looking for, palmer made a point to help the other out as much as he could. the dull brown kitten wobbled up and sat down near the other, but not too close. hi, i'm palmer, he began with the twitch of his whiskers. tama's here, i've not seen kingdom around, but i'm new. he let out a little giggle. don't take my word for it. they'll come 'round soon.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]the kitten nodded back. he had heard of this game a couple times before, although he had never played it. now was his chance. oo, that's good! he squeaked, before turning to neville. hi! wanna play? he asked and lifted a paw in the air to wave at the other.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]the next to come up was the little kitten palmer. he offered the unfamiliar person a welcoming smile before taking a seat a little way away from lostboy. hi, i'm palmer. he greeted toriel. he liked that name. welcome to blizzardclan.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]palmer wobbled up after the others, before coming to a shaky halt beside frisk. he decided not to say anything since no one else was after the initial question was asked. so he sat there and patiently watched the unfamiliar.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]palmer was on his own way when he heard something coming up - it sounded like a wild animal - one he'd never heard before. immediately the kitten's dull brown fur poofed up until it made him look twice his size. he was horrified. what was that? he crouched down and crept towards the noise, until he saw it. neville. is that you? he asked with a tilt of his head, still alert. all huff and puff?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]hi, palmer meowed lightly as he approached the quickly forming group. coming to a halt beside his friend decemberkit, the male offered the other a grin as he looked up. she was something he'd never seen before, although he hadn't seen a whole bunch of things yet. i'm palmer.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]palmer was the first to approach, and he sniffed the note. he wasn't able to read too well yet, and only knew a few of the words on the page. what's this? he meowed to himself. something about a ball, and games. what are we to? he tipped his head. what's this word mean? he meowed as he looked at the word 'invited'. there were so many questions he had.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]up now came a tiny little ball of dull brown fur that didn't know the other. palmer wobbled up, before taking a seat near the unfamiliar face. hi, he meowed in greeting, looking up at matty. i'm palmer. he squeaked.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-size: 14px;][justify][sub]palmer had never seen an instrument before. or ever heard music made with other than the voice. this was awe-inspiring for him, it was incredible. he couldn't help to sway side to side as he made his way over, half because he couldn't completely hold his balance yet and half because of the music. he decided not to comment and just listen to the beautiful sounds coming from the instrument.
