Asa tilted her head quietly and pulled out he katana. She thought about something breifly. WHAT Death had whispered to her. She glanced up at Leo and stayed to run to what she could clearly tell was the exit. “Come on Leo!!!” Then she heard Death talking again, [shadow=red,left]If you see that one, Jack and ask him to kill you. Maybe he will. I've always heard he is rather nice for a Dark. He spares one to become on of his own kind. [/shadow] Asa blinked. That's what these were called. Not demons, not nightmares, Darks. Or maybe it was a lie and Death was fake. She shrugge quietly.

Asa woke up suddenly. She opened her eyes and say Ryuu. Her only living family member. “Ryuu-Kun!” She said hugging her older brother and smiling as she looked at him. Ryuu smiled too. “That wasn't a very safe sleep Asa was it? Why did your heart stop working why dint you breathe?” Asa shrugged. She realized she was in a hospital. “Ryuu- are there other people in this hospital? Others like me?” Ryuu nodded. “Some died Asa.” Asa hit her lip. [i]innocent lives- just taken and their family will never know the truth.[/i] Asa almost tested up when se realized tht she saw someone out the window. The figure looked oddly like jack. [shadow=red,left]Oh it is Jack, [/shadow] Death was whispering again... [shadow=red,left]He can probably see you. In five hours you will be asleep and in the mind trap again. [/shadow] Asa decided to reply to Death this time. [glow=green,2,300] O don't think so Death. And if he can see me he will wave. And anywas bi can take espresso shots all night. Asa didn't notice Leo at first. She hugged Ryuu one more. “Now go Ryuu. The hospital will call you if anything happens. You know I know that you are a college student. Go!” She smirked slightly ignoring Death in her mind. She saw Leo and smiled quietly walking over to him. “Hey Leo,” Asa said kindly to the boy smiling. She tried to ignore tha nagging feeling. THE one that Jack had mentioned. Death decide to say it to Asa. [shadow=red,left]Only one can survive. And they will be made into something like me. If two or more survive. There will be a fight to the death. And that me! I'm Death,[/shadow] Death said in Asa's mind. Asa juddered looking at Leo.

Asa smiled quietly at Leo. She was sitting cross legged on the hospital bed. “I'm going to drink espressos all night to stay awake. You should do it to. Asa noddd quietly. “I just... I don't want to believe Andy of what happened last night was true but it is. The ones who iced. THOSES were the ones who didn't make it. Asa was sleeping. She tried so hard to sleep. To have good dreams. But the humans had taken her to a science lab where thy preformed experiments. It hurt Asa. Come on!” The scientists had grabbed Asa and taken her away to this evil lab. They explained to the people around Asa that she was a demi-human. She couldn't possibly be able to love around normal humans until they had tested on her. [/shadow] Asa woke up suddenly. She was in a test room. “Not again.” She saw a figure on the other side of the room. She knew his name. But she didn't like him. Takeru was his name.

[shadow=red,left]No! You must die Asa! [/shadow] Asa listened to death. She realized it wasn't Death speaking to her. Unless her sister Nao was death. “No Leo you, you deserve to live. But let's not think about dying. We onl have a few hours until we have to go to bed.“ Asa realized they had slept until two o'clock. It was three thirty and Asa was already feeling a bit tired. “How long do we have to stay in this hospital?”

“Yeah. There's a vending machine downstairs in the lower level of the gospital, wanna go get something good to eat? I hate most hospital food.” Asa smiled warml at Leo as she stood up and pulled her hair into a messy Bria d. Might as well look half presentable. She didn't want to look like a half dead zombie. She technically was someone hi had die and come back to life though.

Asa smiled as she walked out of he hospital room and down the stairs towards the first hospital floor. Once they reached the groun level she silently walked towards the vending machine. Asa glanced back every now and then to make sure Leo was still followin her. It felt good. Death hadn't spoken to her for a while.

IC~My eyes widened when I saw the syringes. I hated the needles just like I hated Takeru an all of his scientist friends. I shuddered and moved away from Takeru immediately when he said hold stoo. “What's in them,” I paused. “If you're shooting the needles into I want to know what is getting shot into my body. Tell me what thy do.”

Destroy the stupid idiot scientist that hurts you.[/shadow] I shook my head quietly. “Come on. You don't want to die do you?” I grabbed his hand quickly and ran out of the room shoving others aside.
