clarence's ears heated up a little, and he glanced down, "i-if it's not... not to m-m-much t-trouble." he stammered out, looking back up again at kizami. he tried not to look to far into the invitation, it was an odd invitation, but he didn't comment on it. he just wanted to get somewhere warm.

i really liked the way that they interacted when they first started interacting, so i made clarence have a crush on him. but now clarence is starting to move on with abother cat named florian.
[size=2pt]and if kizami started to return clarence's feelings, that would cause drama and it would be a beautiful mess, because clarence wouldn't know what the fuck to do.
clarence's heart fluttered a little when kizami flashed him that smile. he got clumsily to his paws and padded after kizami. his cheeks were flushed slightly pink under his thin black pelt as he padded after the large wolf, tail waving slowly behind him.
the little tom was some what dragging his paws as he made his way after kizami. he fluttered his ears when he mentioned something about a fire, and then pinned them back against his head, letting out a low hiss, "i could do without the fire." he said in a cool tone, closing his eyes briefly as screams echoed in his ears, and green eyes flashed in his vision. he let out a choked off sob and pushed everything back as he tried to remain calm.

[justify]clarence's whole body heated up and he sputtered for a moment, opening his eyes to stare at kizami for a moment. his tail twitched once and he tilted his head, "uh, i'm assuming that was a joke." he said, though his throat was tight, and making it more difficult to speak than he'd like to admit.
'don't you do this to me right now, you bastard.' he thought, but he didn't voice the words. he pushed them away and took another deep breath, "sorry for freaking out a second ago. i just... i've had very bad experiences with fire." he said, his voice more shaky this time.
'i lost my whole family in a fire.' he once again swallowed the words that tried to escape.

clarence was lying at the edge of camp, stretched out in the sun with his eyes closed. his tail was twitching slowly as he relaxed for the first time in a while. the quiet jingle of the rings around the black length was the only noise besides his steady breathing.
the young vampire felt that the world was at peace for the first time in a long while.

[justify]clarence heated up even more and he coughed awkwardly, flicking his ears. he listened to kizami apologize, but soon got distracted by the fireflies. he'd never seen any before so he was fascinated by them. his tail waved as he began to follow one of the glowing bugs, not hearing kizami's offer of blankets. he reached out with his paw to bat one down, but it flew out of his reach just in time. his eyes were alight with wonder unmatched by anything ever shown in his eyes before.

clarence looked back at kizami, "they're beautiful." he breathed, eyes wide. his tail waved slowly as he approached kizami, "i've never scene anything like them before in my life." he murmured. he was faster this time, catching one of the bugs between his paws. he opened them slightly and peered at it, "why do they light up like that?" he asked.

clarence was finally able to retract his fangs, "i'm from darkclan." he said, tail waving. he dipped his head and took a small bite of the mouse, before waiting for florian to take a bite. his ears fluttered and he looked over at the other tabby, "i assume you're from boneclan?" he asked with a small smile.

clarence's tail waved as he released the blinking bug. he looked to kizami, and then shuddered, remembering how cold he was, "perhaps..." he trailed off for a moment, watching as another firefly floated by in front of his face. "perhaps," he started again, "perhaps we should go inside." he said, glancing over to the cave. he sniffled softly and pawed at his nose which was running a little because of the biting night air.
his thoughts drifted, briefly, to life in the west. his mother's estate, picking berries with daisy. his life was simple then, before everything happened, and this made him sad.
he shook the thoughts away as quickly as they came and looked to kizami for confirmation that they could go inside.

[justify]clarence rolled to his paws, fangs sliding out to overlap his actual teeth. any relaxation he had dissipated, and he was now on edge. he looked up at the polar bear who had approached him, and the tension slowly ebbed out of his shoulders at the scent- albeit faint- of darkclan. "hello..." he said slowly, "can i help you?"

he still seemed a little tense, unwilling to go back into a relaxed state. he flicked his tail behind him, the rings jingling softly as he observed caecus, silver eye twinkling, the other eye looking dull beneath the long scar that marred his appearance.
