The sound... the voice, rung through her ears still, wrapping around her, squeezing her tight. A few times it very nearly pulled her backwards, beckoning her back to a life of serenity, living amongst her siblings and, of course, the mother who called but never pursued. Her waste of space siblings. No personality, no goals in life. Sacks of blood fur and bones. And if there was one thing Carmen thought she didn't deserve it was hopeless wastes of space. Fake tears being cried about her having disappeared. Those would soon stop. Knowing that angered her, too. But it could not be helped. Not when she was way out here.

    Wherever here was.

Carmen could tell it was a warm climate, most if not all of the year. The ground beneath her shifted- sand. The small-statured stray glanced down. Paw deep in sand. Not a ton. Who knew what would lay ahead though. forward. A rock. "Ouchies." she muttered. Her voice fit her petite, crème-coloured frame. A very kid-like voice for a very immature looking kid. So everybody thought. Carmen lifted her paw, swaying off balance for a second. Examining the pink pad, she decided it was a minor incident and kept walking, following the scent she had been following for quite awhile.

Finally Carmen herself arrived in a very obvious place on SunClan's territory, hoping
a new life would present itself readily.

TD;LR sorry about that, not sure if i made it too long?? lmao. the last paragraph'll work if you dont wanna read all that.

[justify][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; width: 500px;][size=8]Sudden overflow of bodies. The first to appear, a dog. A small one, at that. A clever, snarky voice on top of that. The slightest tilt of her head gave away curiosity. A quick scan, an observation of the canine. Just as another canine, bigger this time. More leering, more intriguing than the last. No time for a very in-depth observation... she wouldn't be able to check him out without seeming dumb to the other one. "Carmen," a short sweet murmur. Bordering on a whisper. "Most certainly new." The other two appeared. This clan was the right one for her! The next two. One, green, like the trees. And most certainly out-of the ordinary, personality wise. She flashed a smile. He seemed to be a jokester, conjuring up things. A smile flashed onto her face, and a quiet laugh escaped. Carmen glanced at the final male, Alister. Horned. Winged. Large. A little bit too much to take in. Her head tilted back to get a full view of him, and the off-white feline took tentative steps back. But her smile still remained. "L-likewise." Carmen stuttered, followed by a nervous laugh. She smiled. "I look forward to joining your clan. I see this as a very fun time ahead of me." Eloquent. She was proud of herself.

[justify][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; width: 500px;][size=8]Hey, another cat. Since her joining she'd seen only few cats of a... typical colour palate, much less talked to them. She knew almost nobody in this clan.

Naturally Carmen had to keep a social standing in this clan. Or else it was just like back home. The creamy furred feline spotted the sad Russian Blue and the snowy coloured fox and walked over, an expression of concern splashing across her face. Oh, how wonderful it would be to help somebody in the clan! "Yes... are you?" She sat a respectful distance away, concern whisking across her fast-moving mind.

[justify][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; width: 550px;][size=8]Carmen allowed a smile at his first response. Everybody was okay. "That's good to hear," the off-white feline drawled. She had a very peaceful voice, quiet and childish to a point. Her olive eyes traced him, observing the male. Her ears twitched and Carmen hastily meowed a greeting, "Carmen! My name is Carmen, at your service." a quick smile, and the girl plopped down, tail twitching over her paws, facing the two animals hanging around. "Very nice to meet you both." Cheery. Carmen felt she was setting a good impression upon everybody. Her perfectionist attitude would allow nothing else, after all.

[justify][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; width: 550px;][size=8]Luckily, Carmen had been out of the line of fire at the time of the hail of bouncy balls. Now, hearing the ruckus outside, she emerged from a building, head peering out of the empty doorway, eyes searching curiously. Colourful bouncy balls. Carmen smiled, stepped out of the building and sat right outside the door. She silently watched the panic going on, wondering when everybody would calm themselves. A smirk crossed her face. This was pretty funny.
