    punts bli over

okay so bli is eight months, and tbh i feel like he and mad could make a really interesting couple? well, he's in sunclan, which could make for a rather interesting plotting point, as blindingpaw holds a grudge against colouredclan and sees the clan as a whole as the enemy.

so, a little bit about him. bli is a rather typical-looking lion cub with a twisted hind paw, causing him an eternal limp, as well as white wings that he has yet to grow into. he's a full-blooded angel, although he doesn't really know that yet. the only power he has is teleportation, which helps him get around quicker, but if he uses it too much, he gets massive headaches and has to rest.

as for his personality, he's mostly just a little ball of grumpiness. he's pretty quiet, but he's honest, if not too blunt when he does state his opinion. although he's usually really grumpy, bli tends to stay calm, keeping his emotions in check. he usually doesn't think of others before doing something, and often has a hard time making friends. he's super loyal to his clan and pretty much values loyalty above most everything else.

and for a brief history, bli was born to phoenixsun and bittersweet, the former deputy & former medic of sunclan! however, phoenixsun had disappeared before bli was born, and as such he and his siblings never knew their father. bli grew up resenting his father leaving them alone, and after hearing stories from his mother of her childhold in colouredclan and how she had been driven out by permafrost, he also began to hate colouredclan, especially since sunclan and colouredclan were still enemies, although not at war. bli and his siblings disappeared for awhile, and when he reappeared in sunclan, his mother had moved on to become leader of sylvanclan, and, seeing as no longer knew anyone in sunclan, he moved to sylvanclan for a bit, before disappearing again. now, he's back in sunclan once more, ready for a fresh start.

okay okay so i can probably think of some plots for them, but for now i'm just going to leave this here, as i'm rlly tired rn and can't think of anything good cx

alsO i'd like to add that bli isn't a new character, but an old character on a new subbie. also, madpaw is super rad and really cute tbh and i'd love to be able to plot with him!

[justify]The lion limped heavily, panting slightly as he reached the Sunclan border. Bli would promptly lower himself to the ground, allowing his twisted paw a rest. His foot usually didn't hurt like this, although he had done quite a bit of walking that day. The apprentice would close his eyes for a moment, tail flicking restlessly. Bli was trying to remember what Sunclan had been like when he had last been here. Well, it had seemed rather peaceable at first, although it had quickly fallen when they had been temporarily taken over. And, the lion had known who most of his clanmates were back then. Now, he was only to assume that he would be going in totally blind, without knowing anybody. The notion was only a small bit daunting, though, as he had known the clan in the past, but hadn't made many friends.

The lion would open his eyes, checking to see if anybody had arrived yet. In his past experience, members usually showed up rather quickly. The young male would begin to subconciously tap his paw as he waiting. Bli was willing to wait awhile longer before making an attempt to call out for someone. He felt as if attracting the attention of a Sunclanner was uneeded because he was sure someone would show up any minute now. Shifting his wings into a more comfortable position, the cub kept his senses open to any indication of a Sunclanner.

[justify]Bli would listen carefully to the words of both females before answering either. "My name is Blindingpaw; joining." He would state with a flick of his ear. The cub would rise to his feet slowly, preparing himself for the trip back to camp. Bli would take in the appearances of both Vera Aphrodite, the big and small felines respectively. It seemed there was probably a good variety of creatures here, which was a nice thought. He might not find anyone he already knew, but maybe there would be other lions. Not that it really mattered.

He would flick an ear, turning towards Afro for a moment. "I'm fine, it's nothing big." He would state rather flatly. This wasn't the worst pain he'd ever been in, and it would probably die down soon anyhow. He really didn't need any help with it. The lion would make sure that, when he walked, he would place all four paws on the ground, just to reinforce his words. If the camp was far, however, he probably wouldn't walk like that the whole way. It was just a bit more comfortable keeping it somewhat off the ground.

[justify]Bli would frown at all the concern and fuss being made over him. He didn't need help with anything, and there were plenty of other more useful tasks that the Sunclanners could be doing. At least, he assumed there were more useful things to be done. If him showing up was the most interesting part of the day, and the best thing to spend time, Bli wasn't sure if coming back was in his best interest. Surely something else would come along soon and everyone would forget about wanting to help him. The cub would remain quiet, watching as more and more Sunclanners began to approach. He had known that plenty of people usually showed up to welcome new clanners, but Bli was certainly not used to this many other animals all at once. He had been hanging out on his own for quite some time, and it was all a little overwhelming for the male.

The male would give Vera a slight nod, acknowledging he had heard her introduction, before quickly turning to face someone else. He didn't want to be told what he should do by a total stranger, especially when it was leg. He was also quite sure that he wouldn't be asking anyone for assistance anytime soon. His gaze would shift over to Fallingkit. Ah, someone who wasn't asking whether or not he was alright, and if he needed any help or attention. The kitten had attracted his interest, just as he had attracted their interest, and he would nod a bit deeper in their direction. Bli noticed the shell, and would take a moment to gaze at it, thinking. He didn't own any personal belongings. It didn't bother him too much, however, as he had never really cared for those types of things.

The next of his new clanmates that Bli would turn to was Finaldeparture. It appeared that either she couldn't speak, or was choosing not to, seeing as she was using a notebook to write down her words. It took him a moment to make out the scrawled writing, as his reading skills weren't the best, and his nose wrinkled slightly at the words written there. Sinclan? Hell? What was that supposed to mean? The cub would shift his wings around, trying to wrap his head around why this Finaldeparture was referring to the clan as she did. Was it really that bad here? Man, he had no idea what he was getting himself into by joining Sunclan.

He would flick his ear to show he had read Finny's words, before turning to Hunter. He would stiffen slightly as the male would suggest getting help from somebody. "Like I said, I'm fine. I don't need anyone to look at my leg." He would state, gritting his teeth. At this point, the sheer number of people gathering around him, whether or not they were trying to help him or not, was starting to grate on his nerves. It was an odd sensation, being watched by so many others, although he was sure it was something he was going to have to get used to. He would quirk a nonexistent eyebrow as Hunter held out a paw to shake, frowning deeper.

Bli hadn't been intending to shake the canine's hand in the first place, but if he had, he would have been interrupted by the sudden appearance of Gameboy. Bli was slightly startled by the male suddenly teleporting in, although he managed not to show it. He could teleport as well, so it shouldn't have been that surprising, anyways. He listened quietly, somewhat confused by the Sunclanner's words. No one else so far had talked this much, or about beach balls and snakes. He wasn't even sure if he'd heard of a beach ball before, in all honesty. It took him a moment to realize he was being asked a question, and he would quickly reply, "I'm okay for the moment." As the feline moved closer to try and put some sort of paste of what appeared to be leaves on his leg, Bli would instinctively take a step back. He would stop there, however, and hold his ground. "What is that?" he would ask. The lion cub wasn't about to let a strange, grown man put some unknown green paste onto his leg without knowing what it was. Stranger danger, man. He did, however, know what poppy seeds were. It seemed like overkill to eat poppy seeds when it didn't even hurt that bad, but this Gameboy was the doctor around here, right? He was the one in charge of healing, right?

At the mention of the beach, the cub relaxed slightly, allowing himself to slip into memories of the beach. It had been a wonderful place, somewhere Bli had gone when he wanted to relax, away from the rest of the clan. Was it still the peaceful place he remembered? The lion hoped so; he couldn't wait to go and find out. It would be just like old times. And maybe, if he closed his eyes and was quiet enough, he could pretend his mother and siblings were there with him. He would switch his gaze towards Kuroo, listening to his words. The male was right, and Bli knew he was right, but the cub was still somewhat determined to combat their efforts to help him, if only out of pure stubbornness by this point. He would acknowledge him with a nod of his head, although he would look away after a moment, as if daring someone else to appear and greet him.

[justify][font=arial][size=8][color=black]Bli felt truly content than he had felt in quite some time. The cub was currently on the border of Sunclan, slowly weaving through the forest. This was where he had grown up, and despite being gone for so long, the areas and paths he had rested in and walked through were still imprinted upon his mind. The winged lion had spent more time in the woods than he had in camp, and it seemed as if this would still hold true. He had spent most of yesterday sleeping, and getting adjusted to being around so many others. It was still so weird to see so many creatures at once, let alone the species variety. Living out on his own for awhile had really done a number on the cub, and although he was somewhat enjoying his time back at Sunclan so far, going back to living as a loner was always an option. However, he didn't think he'd be going with this option anytime soon, as now that he was back, he was determined to stick around and support his clan.

The woods were peaceful, and always had been- a place of solace for the cub when he needed some time away from all of his problems. Bli could always trust the trees to be silent and allow him some company as he thought through things, as weird as that seemed. The cub knew that plants could not think, but they were still alive, and sometimes it was comforting to have something living with you, even if it was only plants. However, plants were not the only thing the forest had to offer; the place was filled with all sorts of wildlife, ranging from the occasional deer to the small beetles that seemed to be all over the place. It was, overall, one of Bli's favorite places in the world. His most favorite place in the world would have to be alongside Bitter, Starr, and Bas, but he didn't think that would ever be possible again.

The cub released a sigh from his jaws, stretching out a wing in front of him. He had better stop with the memories now, before it got to be too much to handle. Bli would swipe a tongue over his jaw, chocolate oculars shining with interest in the world around him. He didn't often show his emotions freely, rather preferring to keep them to himself. He felt as if it were more practical to keep your emotions in check. It gave your enemies less to work off of, and it was simply easier to keep yourself in check. It saved time and nosy questions from others. He had already had enough questions asked of him in the past day, most of them having been the same ones repeated, albeit with different phrasing. The winged lion would cast a glance down at his foot, which admittedly was starting to feel better. Probably not because of any medical attention it had received, he was fairly certain, but simply because he had allowed it time to rest. Bli was still trying to avoid using it too much, just in case, but he was fairly certain it was all healed. Well, as healed as it would ever get, since it had been twisted like that from birth.

The kid would shake out his pelt, ears swiveling this way and that. He probably wouldn't stay in one place long, simply wandering about the forest border. Wanderlust was part of his nature, even when it came to simply hanging around the border and forest. Bli begin to leisurely stroll beside the border, carefully weaving in and out of greenery. Today was looking like it would be a nice day, filled with some quality alone time between Bli and the forest, which is what he wished everyday could be like. As he made his way through the forest, Bli kept all of his senses open, hoping to spot something you didn't see everyday- or, even something that you do see everyday. He wasn't feeling particularly picky, and besides, this was his first real day back. As long as he saw some sort of wildlife, he would probably be satisfied.

[justify]Bli approached slowly, a yawn drawing its way over his face. He wasn't usually interested in others who showed up on the border, and today was no exception. In fact, the only reason he was here was because he had happened upon the small group that had gathered. In a minute, he would probably wander off, bored. He lazily examined the visitor. A white tiger, nothing overly special about that. He stretched out a wing gingerly, taking a long moment, before peering off into the forest. There were so many other things he could be doing right now. With a flick of his tail, he would get ready to turn and leave, but something stopped him dead in his tracks. "By any chance, do Bittersweet or Sharkbait still reside here?"

The cub would stiffen at the mention of his mother's name, a heavy frown placing itself on his features. "What do you want with Bittersweet?" he would ask, tone low and gravely. Why would someone be here, looking for his mother? The cub knew the last place he had seen Bittersweet was in Sylvanclan, but he wasn't about to gice away that information freely, and especially not to a stranger.

[justify]Bli pricked his ears, twisting his head around. The cub thought he had heard something- a squirrel, maybe, or even a bird. Pausing, he would take a moment to scan the undergrowth, trying to find a sign of some sort of living creature other than himself. When he saw nothing, however, Bli was ready to turn back. The male hesitated for a moment though, wings shifting with a soft rustle. Maybe whatever it was out there would show itself. An impractical thought, yes, but maybe, just maybe, the animal would come out if it didn't feel threatened. He wasn't really an expert on animal behavior, but the male was going to assume that a lion of any age would appear threatening to woodland creatures, let alone one with wings. Of course, it wasn't like he was much of a threat anyways, with his twisted leg. Although, maybe he could use teleportation to hunt... He'd have to pace himself, sure, but that actually didn't seem like such a bad idea.

The kid had decided that whatever was out there wasn't coming back, regardless of whether or not he was still and quiet enough, and turned back back to continue along on his way. Of course, that was not to be the last of the sounds of rustling. Bli would whip back around, eyes darting back and forth as he heard the sound once more. It was louder, this time, and getting louder. The male was now able to determine that the sound was certainly not a small woodland creature, but something bigger. He couldn't exactly make out the size from the noises, but it was better to be safe than sorry, right? He would crouch down slightly, making sure his wings were tucked tightly to his sides. If it came down to a fight, he didn't need the appendages getting in the way. He was as ready as he could be, he supposed. The sound of some animal slipped through leaves and branches grew steadily louder, until Bli felt it could get no louder without the mystery creature revealing themselves.

Bli tensed, jumping slightly as a small white body suddenly appeared, flying right out of the bushes. The cub was at attention as soon as he recovered from his moment of shock, assessing the situation and the mysterious white feline who had so suddenly appeared. He looked rather small, probably still a kit, and it appeared as if he had tripped over something. Probably a branch or something. Well, no matter what it was that he had tripped over, this stranger didn't look like he posed much of a threat to Bli. At least, as long as he had no powers. As the white feline looked up at him, shock rippled throughout his pelt, although he did his best to quickly cover it up. This stranger had three eyes! It was rather startling, and arguably more startling because he had met someone else with three eyes. It had been a long, long time ago, but he still remember it.

She had been a tiger, and her name had started with an A, he was pretty sure. She had lived in Sunclan around the time he was born, and he had found the mystical being somewhat intriguing. The tigress had helped him with his new-found power of teleportation, setting him on the path of learning how to cope with the headaches and how to make sure he didn't use it too often. Other than that, however, he didn't really remember much else about her. Bli blinked slowly, eyes narrowing at the smaller being. This stranger wasn't at all like the tigress had been all those months ago. They were different species, and he was fairly certain the tigress had been rather graceful when she moved. In fact, from the limited amount of information he had at hand, the two seemed like total opposites, having only an eye in common with each other.

As the male suddenly chirped out a greeting, Bli would simply stand there for a moment, staring, and trying to wrap his mind around what was happening. Some random, three-eyed domestic had just come out of nowhere, startled him, and now was offering a casual greeting? He had known that returning to a clan would be different, but he honestly could say he hadn't expected something like this to happen. He remained silent for another moment, trying to collect his thoughts and gather a few words. "Who are you?" he would begin, ignoring the other's greeting for the moment. He wasn't in the mood for socializing, especially not after acting surprised in front of a total stranger. The winged male's gaze remained locked on the domestic's third eye, not really caring if he seemed rude. Had he been born with the eye, Bli wondered? That would certainly make sense, although Bli himself hadn't been born with his wings. They had grown in, which had been quite the interesting yet slow process.

Shaking his head ever so slightly, he would remain in his partially crouched position, although his gaze would soften a little bit now that he knew he wasn't being stalked by some creature. "And what are you doing out here?" Bli would add. He hadn't noticed it until just now, but the younger male had a scent about him that was distinctly unsunclan-like. So, either the odd male just smelled weird, which wouldn't really surprise him, or he was from a different clan. The lion was assuming different clan, as although everyone he had met carried different scents, he had never met someone with a scent so much different than any others from the same clan.

[justify]Bli watched from afar, squinting in confusion. What on earth was going on over there? The lion cub was quite sure he didn't want to know. He might have been wishing for something interesting and exciting to happen, but not something like this. Besides, Bli was pretty sure it was just a guy falling out of a tree. He was sure that happened often enough. Well, probably, at least. The lion hadn't really seen anybody climb any trees yet, in fact, so perhaps this was an uncommon occurrence. Either way, Bli wasn't going to be doing any tree cimbing anytime ever, and he wasn't exactly entertained or interesting in watching others fall out of trees. And, not only had he fallen out of a tree, he had missed the pillow that had appeared out of who knows where. That was potentially dangerous, though he couldn't really find himself caring all that much whether or not a random clanmate was injured, especially in such a stupid way.

[justify]Bli often found himself wandering about the borders, and he frequently ran into others. Perhaps a bit too frequently for his tastes, but he didn't have to interact if he didn't want to. Nothing was stopping him from simply limping off without a word of parting. However, as the lion approached the pair at the border, he didn't feel a need to walk off. Instead, he would amble closer, wings tucked tightly to his sides. "Welcome to Sunclan." he would state in a flat tone, looking over the stranger.

    BLINDINGPAW AETERNUM COR LEONIS

[justify]Bli would find himself with a bit of a smile on his face, something that was unusual for the lion. He had been resting a little ways away from Lani when the female had caught his eye with her attempts at flying. Bli had slowly gotten up, stretching for a minute, before deliberately making his way closer to the wolf. As he walked, the male would take note of his own wings, tucked nicely to his sides. Truth be told, he didn't know how to fly with them either. They had starting growing in only a few months ago, and he wasn't sure if they were even fully developed. If they were capable of flight at this point, then soon the lion would need to learn how. He'd probably end up looking like a fool, even if no one was around to see him. As he reached his destination, Bli would unceremoniously flop down onto a patch of sunlight, he would keep a single eye on Lani as she continued her obviously-futile attempts at flying. He would remain quiet for now instead of pointing out that she couldn't fly, instead choosing to wait and see how long it took for her to realize that herself.
