stormy !  maybe it's just me but i feel like elisabeth would try so hard to become close friends with michael. idk what it is but i feel like she would be drawn to him. lmao the friends that are so completely different but just click

let me know if anyone wants to plot with elisa! i'm literally down for anything

stormy ! oh yeah definitely! elisa is the type to sit back and observe and she would almost immediately see through him. she'd totally try to comfort him whenever his disorders act up and be there for him the best way that she can be.

Elisabeth's question was answered when she heard the familiar deep voice of Dashiki. Excitement covered her face at the sight of him. She had not seen or been in contact with anyone from the Guild ever since Aja had risen as Queen, and it was an enlightening feeling to see her old friends trickling in one by one. "Dashiki! It feels like it's been ages." She returned his soft smile with one of her own before taking the offered gourd from his hand and taking a swig before handing it back to him. Unfortunately, she had ran out of water a day or two before she arrived at the fortress. While she was always good at planning raids, heists, and cons, she was never one to successfully ration her supplies. Needless to say, she was thankful that Dashiki had offered.

The brunette's mood grew to be even better whenever she caught sight of Sercia coming in behind her brother. She gave a nod in greeting to the woman, a smile that represented how elated she was plastering itself across her face. Elisabeth usually portrayed herself as a stone-cold individual who was always down to business and hardly ever let her emotions get mixed in with work. However, now was one of the rare times where she couldn't bother herself to care about holding back how she was feeling. Her family was finally getting back together and she was beyond excited. A few minutes after the arrival of the siblings, Etta arrived. She chuckled at her remark, the mentioning of the ram causing her eyes to land on the carcass. Dinner was most definitely something she was looking forward to as well.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a figure making its way toward the group via horseback, the person catching her attention at once. Her mind immediately assumed them to be a threat and she couldn't help the instinctual reaction of her palm finding home against the hilt of her sword. However, when she heard the voice of the stranger and saw the familiar staff wave in the air, she knew that it was Caet, and her rigid body relaxed as she yelled back an answer. As she began to turn back toward the group, something caught her by surprise. A child toppled off of the horse that Caet was on and began running full speed toward the group, many emotions playing on his face but excitement being the main one. He ran over, asking questions and rambling to no end before catching himself and telling the group that Caet had told him to be respectful, for there was a Queen in his presence.

If Elisabeth had one weakness, it was children. While she wasn't the biggest fan of kids, she did adore them the tiniest bit. Instead of asking Max questions that the others would most likely ask Caet, she knelt down to the child's eye level and held her hand out for him to shake. "Nice to meet you, Max. I'm Elisabeth."

Despite being busy reacquainting herself with her longtime friends, Elisabeth had noticed the slight narrowing of Aja's eyes. The tension between the two of them was hard to not notice, and she was certain that the others had realized the dampening awkwardness between the duo. She pushed it aside, not wanting to bring up affairs of the past at the moment, or worse, end up causing a scene in front of half of the Guild. Instead, the brunette kept catching up with the other mercenaries. She had noticed the injuries that harrowed her ex-lover and her rigid, tense body, and couldn't help but feel a bit worried about her well-being. However, she turned her head and forced herself to focus on the child that was before her and the others. "I live in Brookhaven, but I guess I'll be living here for a while, too," she answered the boy.

The opportunity to help prepare the ram was one that Elisabeth considered for a moment. While she was a horrible cook, it would be the perfect opportunity to see how Aja truly was. She read through the I-Am-In-Intense-Pain-But-Refusing-To-Show-It face right as soon as she had laid eyes on her. Even if she were truly worried, which she wasn't (oh, but she was), she was quite certain that she would be the very last person on the leader's list of whom she would share her ailments with. In all honesty, she didn't really want to speak to Aja at the moment, the past seeming all too close to the present for her to ignore. So, she would have to resource to making sure Aja was alright through Rhys. She would also be able to get in some good training time if the man were willing to spar with her.

However, before she could answer, a voice from behind the group volunteered. Perhaps another time, she thought to herself. "I suppose I'll be heading inside now. It's far too cold out here," she said. The mercenary nodded toward the group as she departed, walking into the fortress and making her way through the labyrinth of halls. Eventually, she found a room that was fitting for her and walked through the open doorway, closing the heavy wooden door behind her. It wasn't necessarily a small room, but it wasn't a large one either; it was the perfect size for her. It had enough room to fit a queen-sized bed, a dresser, and even left a bit of extra empty space that would soon become the designated spot for her morning routine of stretching and preparing herself for the usually hectic days that came with being a mercenary. There was an average sized window that faced toward the courtyard that the group was currently gathered in. There were a few cracks here and there in the glass, and it seemed as if it would break in a few days, but it would be an easy fix of placing a thick blanket over the area.

Elisabeth threw the heavy pelt that she had arrived with on the bed, her hands reaching toward the sheath strapped around her hips. She unbuckled it and gently propped her sword in the corner of the room closest toward the head of the bed. The brunette rested her hands against her hips as she pondered how to spend her time until dinner came around, and eventually, an idea hit her. She was always fond of drawing, whether it be people, plants, animals, or even places. The woman always carried a journal with her, along with a few bits of charcoal in case the desire to draw ever came up. Elisabeth's hands went from her hips and toward the small cross-body bag she was carrying, pulling out the journal and a piece of charcoal before taking the bag off of her body and tossing it onto the bed as well. She slowly made her way into the common room, plopping herself down in front of the lit fireplace to warm up and have better lighting for her work. Opening her journal to the next clean page, she began drawing the reunion of the White Lions, her dark hair framing her face as she leaned over the pages in concentration and creativity.

this is completely unrelated but elisa hasn’t fought or sparred in so long that when she does finally spar with someone, she’s gonna get her ass kicked and i’m so looking forward to it because yES bring on the onslaught of “oh, you’ve lost your touch, elisabeth” and her just being prickly about it for the rest of the day and practicing her head off because nO oNe bEaTs eLiSaBeTh SlOaNe

also i loved the lil side eye that aja gave elisabeth.

i’m BEYOND ready to see max and rhys interacting more. it’s gonna be comedic gold

Elisabeth let out a sigh of relief as the spacecraft safely landed, watching as space dust flew around the spacecraft before slowly making its way back toward the ground. While they were not the first crew to ever land on the moon, she felt as if they were. Being in space, on the moon, was something she would definitely never forget. The brunette smiled as Max informed them of Command's congratulations, and then nodded whenever she was given orders.

Elisabeth lifted her arm, testing out the new level of gravity before unbuckling her seat. It was definitely something different. While Earth had a lot of gravity and space had quite literally none at all, the moon was somewhat in the middle. Finally, Elisa unbuckled her seat, her body floating up just the tiniest bit before her feet finally landed on the floor. She stretched a bit, moving her arms above her head and stretching her muscles as much as she could before bringing them down and twisting her body, a satisfying pop! coming from her spine. The crew had been in their seats for the past hour and a half trying to line the ship up with the correct coordinates before landing, and then taking what felt like forever to land on the rock.

"Come on, Mich. We got work to do," she said as she made her way past him, patting him on his shoulder. Once she got to the door at the back of the room, she pressed the button that was beside the door frame, and watched as it unsealed and quickly slid open. Elisabeth moved through the door, her hand grabbing the top of the door frame as her body floated upwards with her movement, and she pushed herself back down before continuing toward the airlock to check out the suits.

Elisabeth had only drawn the outline of the sketch, the drawing lacking all detail, whenever a bird flew from the hallway and into the common room. Her green eyes lifted from the journal, watching as the hawk landed on the mantle to enjoy the heat radiating from the fire. The presence of Ride, the bird, could only mean that Arden had arrived. She sat back in the cushioned seat she was sitting in, bringing one of her legs into the chair and underneath herself as her elbow rested on the armrest. Her chin fell into her palm and she watched Ride as the bird spread its wings and cleaned its feathers, the mercenary falling into deep thought.

It didn't last long, however. She was pushed out of her head whenever a woman walked into the common room. Elisabeth had never seen her before and was curious if she was from one of the smaller branches of the White Lions. She must be really good if she's from a smaller branch and got chosen, the brunette thought. She heard the woman mutter something to herself, though it wasn't loud enough for her to understand. Elisa watched as she wandered around the room, stopping every now and then to admire the dusty paintings and decorations that adorned the walls and shelves of the common room. Sooner rather than later, her curiosity got the best of her.

"I haven't seen you around before. Are you from a smaller division of the White Lions?" Her voice, usually clear, was slightly raspy. She had a slight Brookhaven accent that was thick enough for others to recognize that she was from the area, but not enough for them to also know that she hadn't been born and raised there. As Elisabeth spoke to the woman, she untied a thin leather strap that she had been wearing as a bracelet and placed it on her thigh as she started running her hands through her hair, gathering up the chocolate strands into a ponytail. She tied a loose knot around her hair with the leather strap, the ponytail sagging a bit due to the carefree knot holding it together. Strands of her hair fell free from the restraint and framed her face, including nearly all of her baby hairs. "I'm Elisabeth, by the way."

Elisabeth hummed and nodded along with Alexandria telling her about herself. She seemed to be nervous, but there was something else about the girl that she just couldn't put her finger on. The accomplishments that she had said were short and brief, and most likely nothing important enough that Aja would send a letter out for her. It just didn't add up. Despite this, she wasn't going to spend her time digging and asking questions that were probably going to be answered later on down the line.

The mercenary chuckled at Alexandria's question about receiving a letter. She nodded before responding. "Yes, I did receive a letter. It was actually quite surprising because I haven't been in contact with anyone from the Guild ever since we all went our separate ways a few years back." After answering, Elisabeth looked down at her opened journal, her brows knitting together as her eyes scanned the partially started sketch. She added a few details here and there with her stick of charcoal and the lifted the book up and blew the residue off of the pages before closing it and setting the journal and charcoal on the wooden endtable between her and Alexandria's seats. Her attention turned from the journal to Alexandria, to Dashiki, and then toward Ride whenever she swooped toward the floor and then into her lap.

A small smile graced Elisa's features as Ride rubbed her head against her arm, and she didn't hesitate to return the affection by gently scratching the back of the bird's head. Luckily for Ride, Elisabeth had a small bag of almonds that she had purchased from a merchant a city or two away from the snowy wasteland. She dug through the pockets of her pants, managing to pull out three almonds for Ride to enjoy. The bird's company had been greatly appreciated and valued before the Guild split, and she was glad that Arden had brought her along for the ride. Speaking of, she had noticed him walking back and forth between the kitchen and the common room, so utterly focused on his task that he hadn't had time to speak to any of the others. Finally, he had settled into one of the seats by the fire and hugged his legs close to his face, most likely to hide the flush of pink that usually colored his face whenever he was embarrassed.

The brunette let a soft sigh escape before she made herself even more comfortable in the cushioned seat. She leaned her head against the back of the chair and closed her eyes, relishing in the quiet of the common room save for the pleasing crack of the fire. As she began to realize how tired her journey had made her, she thought about heading to her room to take a quick nap, but decided against it due to the amount of dust that had occupied the room. She would have to clean it before she even thought about sleeping in there.

Her thoughts jumped all over the place, flitting between the Guild, her friends, the stray cat that always visited the library back in Brookhaven, and then to Aja. She was quite worried about her, and was currently debating with herself if she should go check on their leader. After what felt like minutes of arguing with herself, her green eyes opened. Elisabeth gently grabbed Ride and placed her against the cushion of the seat after getting up and laid the remainder of the almonds she had pulled out for the bird beside her. "Do any of you know where Aja's room is?" She questioned as she turned to face everyone in the common room.

[feel free to come up with any past events with Elisa as well!]
