[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The kitten came upon the small village of WindClan, her dusk-hued fur battered by the breeze. Her deep saffron eyes sharpened with determination, and she set paw into what would hopefully be her new home.
Scanning the horizon, she didn't see anyone - which could be problematic, as she wouldn't speak. No, not couldn't. Wouldn't. The self-decided mute smoke tabby tapped the earth near WindClan's border impatiently, waiting for someone to arrive.
You'd think they'd watch over their territory better, the small feline mused to herself. Someone could just wander right on in...
She smiled. That's just what she would do - wander right on in. Padding deeper into the village, the small fuzzball of a trespasser glanced around for any sign of life. It shouldn't be long now.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The little smoke had been caught - and all before getting to explore very much. Dang. But at least someone was here to assist her with the whole joining thing.
She nodded, whiskers twitching. She'd made it clear that she was joining, but how would she manage to introduce herself? Sighing inwardly, she shoved a paw to the earth and managed to scribble out her name:
M O R W Y N.
It wasn't especially neat and was probably just barely legible, but the tabby smiled proudly next to her creation.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]She nodded. That was her name. At least they'd understood. The second question wasn't so simple, though. She could talk. At least, she thought so. At one point she had the ability to. But... it had been so long, it was almost as if she'd forgotten how. At first it had been an act of defiance - no one would listen to what she had to say, so she stopped talking. But then it became habit... and now, well she just didn't know.
Furrowing her features, she shook her head. It wasn't the full truth exactly, but... even if she could still talk, she wasn't sure if she wanted to yet.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]She nodded again - something that she'd probably be doing a lot of. They didn't really have to take her back to camp, but it was a nice gesture... and since she didn't really have much of a way to express that she didn't want to bother them with it, they were probably going to bring her to the camp.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]She shook her head in response to the approaching female. Everyone seemed a little uncomfortable - but it was the norm to communicate by talking. Morwyn was sort of the odd one out it seemed.
She watched the others quietly through sharp visionaries of amber, taking note of any details they offered about themselves.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]Mor flashed a smile at Peachmoon, glad to know there was someone around in case she injured herself by... well, just being herself. It happened to her quite often - she'd gotten used to it and didn't whine about every bruise or scrape. She was more sensitive emotionally than physically by far.
She turned to Driftedpaw before he turned and left, still smiling. Smiling so much kind of sucked. Especially when you didn't feel super smiley but you still did it because it was one of your only methods of communication.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The smoke tabby kitten returned the torbie known as Boulevard's friendly smirk. Well, it was nice to know the agender feline's name, though she couldn't exactly call them that, since she wasn't speaking. But still, she wanted to learn everyone's name.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The smoke tabby padded over and watched the scene unfold with neutral features. She'd let the others take care of the questions - if she did it it'd take too long, since she had to write in the earth anything that was more than a nod or smile.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]She liked the gentle patter of the tiny drops of water as they fell onto earth, tapping against leaves and making little craters in the mud. She disliked how it made her pelt heavy and cling to her frame, though. It felt almost suffocating.
It smells nice out.
She caught a flash in the corner of her eye - Jasmineskies had been startled, apparently.
Hmmm, really? What do worms smell like? She pondered, watching the two converse.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]Mor just watched. It was what she did. Observed through bright eyes like little orbs of amber. She had no idea what was troubling Forgottenpaw, but maybe if the smoke tabby sat there long enough she would find out. Or he would tell her to bug off. Maybe he'd get mad because she didn't talk. To anyone. Not anymore. Either way, something would happen eventually.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The smoke tabby simply nodded. Dominique wasn't aware, but the kitten wasn't speaking. Wow, a microraptor. Morwyn didn't really know what that meant, all she knew was that a strange reptilian creature stood before her and the rest of the group. There was also a little ball of light with fluttering wings - some kind of strange bug maybe? She felt super normal now, at least in appearance, being a simple black smoke tabby kitten with amber eyes.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]Morwyn watched the equine silently, stretching her neck to get a better view. Just earlier today she'd seen a dinosaur for the first time, and now a horse. She liked watching these things. So many different creatures arrived at the small village's borders, it was sort of fascinating. She never greeted any of them though; just watched from the shadows. Maybe she was a little shy deep down or concerned about what others thought of her, but she wouldn't admit that to herself.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]Mor gave a brief smile as she padded on by, of course, not speaking. She didn't really mind not talking -- by now it was like she'd lost her voice somewhere within the far reaches of herself.
The smoke tabby kitten sat down, ears perked forward, listening as he spoke. A giant lion made of metal? She didn't see that everyday. In fact, she'd never seen one on any day... not until now. Her bright amber visionaries washed over him. His voice was surprisingly child-like, and she hadn't expected that. Was he basically a kitten just like her? She couldn't tell.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]The little smoke thought Forgottenpaw seemed pretty overwhelmed, and she didn't want to contribute to the feeling since she could relate. She often felt suffocated by others and just needed to get away -- especially if they were super cheery or overbearing.
She padded away to leave him with some space, barely brushing against him as she left in an attempt to reassure him.
He probably thinks I'm really weird, she thought to herself. But what did it matter? Others' opinions were just that -- theirs. She didn't have to think that of herself. And she liked her own company. She didn't think she needed anyone else.

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; width: 350px; text-transform: none][size=10][font=times new roman]Everyone was having those meet and greet things. No, Mor didn't really want to be like everyone else -- but she wanted to learn some names at least. It could be a little problematic though, since she wasn't talking and all.
She would have to get everyone's attention some other way.
Hmmm, the little smoke tabby kitten wondered, biting her bottom lip as she considered her options.
On a whim, as she spotted a spider she scooped it up in her mouth and was careful not to swallow it. Parting her jaws, she let the spider crawl back out and fought back a giggle at how absurd that was.
To complete her little presentation, she added a quick wink and grin to any potential audience.
