~ * ~ Thalia, The Queen ~ * ~
New Colt: Ghost (New born)
Colt, Ghost

Mentions: Sapphire
Lost in thought, Thalia almost missed the voice coming from the other side of the out crop. She poked her head out to smile at Sapphire and Hestia.
"Oh yes, Sapphire, all is well. I'm a little tired and feeling a bit weak, but that is to be expected when dropping a foal after a hard winter." As she spoke, she moved out into view, snow white colt at her side. He was a little thin, but that was to be expect too. However he seemed excited to see the world, but stuck close to his mother's side.
"This is Ghost."She reached around, nosing his lightly.
"Ghost, meet Hestia and Sapphire."Her voice was warm and loving as she watched the small colt step forward. He looked at both mares, then quickly drew back to her side. Thalia chuckled.
"Everything is so new...I wish I could remember that feeling." The retired queen was about to say something to Sapphire when she was shoved back into the outcrop, Ghost squealing in protest.
"What are you doing?!"At first she was angry but soon realized that Hestia was keeping them safe. She couldn't see what was going on but she heard the angry squeals of a young stallion and the unmistakably vocals of a large cat. With her ears pinned back, she shoved Ghost behind her and snapped her teeth, ready to protect him against all cost.

~ * ~ Hestia, Lady In Waiting to the Retired Queen, Mother of Pallaton ~ * ~
Mentions: Thalia, Sapphire, Pallaton
Hestia looked toward Sapphire, but remained quiet while Thalia spoke. She moved back as Thalia came out of hiding, looking around her carefully. She took a few steps to move closer to Sapphire, perking her ears as the colt came out to look at them. "I am sure as the days pass he will grow bolder." Suddenly her ears perked and she jumped forward, pushing Thalia and the colt back into the out crop, before putting herself in front of Sapphire. Her son's warning call and then sudden challenge call, put her on edge. "Danger!" She snorted loudly, wanting to run to his side as his cry suddenly turned into a pain cry to an angry squeal. She looked up where she last saw him, just in time to see him thrash and pummel a large tan feline into the ground.

~*~ Pallaton, Knight Apprentice ~*~
Mentions:
The young knight had watched as the retired queen and his mother had moved to a private location. This put him on high alert, knowing the scent of fresh birth and blood would draw in the meat eaters. His eyes contently moved as his ears twirled to and fro. He was feeling on edge as the time past and the sun began to set. He did give a small smile to see Thalia doing well with a foal at her side. This was short lived as a soft sound drew his attention behind him. Slowly he turned around, peering around. A soft ball size stone came rolling down the mountain and past him. Laying his ears back, he stomped and snorted loudly, warning who ever was there to go back. The creature almost blended in with the increasingly darkness, except for the flash of setting sun over it's eyes. Palllaton snorted and stomped against, rearing up to show his strength, despite his thin body. The large feline didn't seem to care at his size, it was hungry and the smell of birth meant an easy meal. As the feline began to move away from Pallaton, he jumped forward blocking it's path. The angry challenging scream pierced the air as the creature began to attack him. It wanted a much easier meal but this would have to do. It jumped back to avoid hooves, then lashed out, narrowly missing. The young knight, snorted and stomped, thrashing wildly at the feline, dodging and trying to strike at it. He jumped forward in attempt to stomped the creature, but it jumped aside then jumped onto his back, digging claws and teeth into his back and sides. A painful scream echoed up the mountain side just before Pallaton dropped and rolled on to his back, siding downwards a bit. He could feel bits of stones and small pebbles biting into his skin and fresh wounds. Quick as he could he scrambled upright, jumping on the feline before it could catch it's breath from being crushed. He may be thin, but he still had weight on his side. As quick as his legs would let him, he started stomping on the feline, taking a few more claw marks on his legs. Regardless of the wounds he continued to stomp and thrash till there was nothing but a bloody pulp left. Breathing hard, feeling blood oozing down his sides, he backed off to make sure the creature was dead. Legs shaking, standing in disbelief at what just happened, he just stood there staring at the dead thing in front of him.

~*~ Isis, Healer ~*~
Mentions: Rose, Gabrielle, Milan, Stella
The cream hue mare, moved toward Rose who answered her call. She noted the very scared ,Gabrielle, still new to the place. "Are you alright, Gabriella?" She asked as she turned her attention toward Milan, who appeared to need another check over. She beckoned for the two mares to follow her as she moved closer to the fiery mare. "Milan, it will snow and rain ice water in hell before we all give in, I think. Hear, I manged to get you some food, better then that stuff he dropped you." The secret barging struck to get it would her secret. Isis reached down her chest, pulling off a sack and dropped in on the ground. It popped open, spilling out some oats. "It's not much, but...well never mind, there you go. I'll be right back, I suggest you three stick together." She turned quickly moving to Stella. "Come on dear, you shouldn't be alone right now." Gently but firmly she herded Stella closer to the other three. "Now, that's better, we have to stick together. However once more I must go get my healing bag." After excusing herself, she trotted over to the gate, when the stallions stood. Some heated words were exchanged before they gave her healer's bag to her. Upon returning, she hung it on a thorn and began to work on Milan, carefully cleaning her wounds and applying a healing salve, she closed up her bag and returned it to the guards. Once she got back to the mares, she released a heavy sigh. "Someday we will get out of her, don't give up." She spoke mostly to Stella, sticking close to her side.
