Tangleweed sighed. 'Of course they will like you Riverkit!' He mewed, nudging her into the clearing as he saw a familiar face appear. 'You like Riverkit don't you?' He asked the incoming cat.

The grey she-cat stopped in front of the little she-kit and smiled. 'Of course! She's going to be a great warrior!' Dawnpelt mewed to her niece. She could see that something was up with the little kit, but she didn't ask questions.

Thunderkit pounced on the leaf again, there was no way that he was letting his brother steal it from him.

Stripetiger could sense some knowledge stir in the apprentices beside him, but he wasn't sure what it was and he had no time to ask. A dark looming shape stood in front of them, threatening maybe without meaning to be. 'Who are you?' He asked, his voice edged with authority, he just hoped that they weren't in this cats territory as such. Else they were in double trouble he knew.

Emberpaw swallowed her fear and stopped a squeak of fear exiting her mouth. She had never seen a cat look so sinister... ever. Now she was wishing that she payed that little bit more attention in training. She thought that she might need it here.

[[ooc- All your cats seem to have some interesting backgrounds. Wish mine did haha.]]

Tumblepaw smiled but the compliment on his jump washed over his head. He didn't care about that now, he was just glad that his mentor was alright. 'That's good. I hope there are no more..' He mewed, scanning the ledges below in case. Then he waited for his mentor to progress down the slope, not wanting to go ahead first in case he wasn't allowed to.

Mistlepaw smiled as her new training buddy caught up to her. 'I do.' She mewed, but she wasn't going to admit that she hadn't actually had that much training on it. 'Do you?' She asked, wondering is this apprentice would beat her paws down.

Dawnpelt looked at her neice and the other apprentice and was glad that they seemed to be getting on. She was curious to see which one would be the stronger apprentice.

Thunderkit could see how hard his brother was trying to get the leaf from him, and the grey kit didn't like it. He had found it first. Playfully, but pushy at the same time he nudged his brother with his paw trying to knock him out of the way.

Dawnpelt smiled. 'Hi Lacedream. How are things with the family?' She asked politely, she was glad that her brother had found a nicer she-cat this time and had grown to quite like her. Her former misgivings were completely forgotten now.

Turning to Riverkit the grey she-cat smiled, but she couldn't help but glance at Tangleweed. She was wondering why on earth the little kit was asking such questions. 'Everyone will adore you Riverkit.' She mewed, nuzzling her on the head. 'Why wouldn't they?'

Tangleweed shrugged at his sister and they knew each other well enough for her to know not to ask anymore questions at this time. Then he looked at the two toms as they squabbled over there leaf. He was ready to step in if he needed to.

Mistlepaw smiled and nodded. But she did not speak, she could see that they were nearly at the training spot as the undergrowth began to thin out leaving room for battle training. She wasn't about to tell Larkpaw that she preffered hunting, or that she was better at that than battling. She was worried about the outcome of this training session and she hoped that the other apprentice wouldn't think she was a bad excuse for a warrior.

Dawnpelt carried on walking, senses alert until they came to the training spot. Smiling at her own niece and then Larkpaw she looked at Blacktail. 'What do you think we should have them do first?' She wondered, trying to think herself. This would be the first time she had ever trained an apprentice, and this wasn't even hers so she needed to get it right.

The striped warrior stared back at the sinister orbs that seemed to blaze past him and straight through the apprentices. He had recognised that he had not spoken yet but flicked his tail in thanks for Ebonypaw's answer. But how did he know this? Some light seemed to turn on in the toms mind as he looked at the apprentice. Their eyes were very much alike and he had put the answers together himself. Their father. He could see that Ivorypaw was somewhat terrified but he was unsure of what to do. They couldn't just leave now he had seen them, and obviously recognised them too. What other choice was there?

Stripetiger swallowed and stood tall, his body puffed out, but still he could never look as threatening as the cat before him. 'We shall be leaving now.' He mewed, and flicked his tail for the others to move slowly in the direction they were headed, he would keep his eye on the tom and follow after. Although he had doubts as to whether they would obey him.

Emberpaw was not hiding her fear now, but she also wanted to comfort Ivorypaw as best she could. She could see he was scared and she wanted to stop it. Draping her fluffed out tail over the apprentices back she looked from Ebonypaw to this Buzzardheart, also recognising the likeness. But she didn't know enough about them to make up any reasoning. At her fathers signal she started to rise for her paws. 'Come on..' She whispered to Ivorypaw, hoping his brother would come too.

[[ooc- Hee hee thank you. It's a bit daunting!]]

Thunderkit growled playfully at his brother and gave up on the leaf. Instead he pounced on his brother in a mock battle.

Dawnpelt heard Lacedreams' question and then Riverkit's statement too. She was shocked but swallowed it away. She had not been expecting her to say that, Mistlepaw had always been a friendly apprentice, except to her mother of course. She couldn't understand why the apprentice wouldn't like her little sister. 'Nonsense!' She mewed, flicking the kit with her bushy grey tail. 'I think she adores her new brothers and sister as much as I adore you!' She mewed trying to sound convincing.

Tangleweed sighed a little. Why did Mistlepaw have to have made it so obvious to the little kit. She knew that his older daughter didn't really dislike her a lot, but he could see something wasn't quite right between them. 'Do you know where Mistlepaw is, Dawnpelt?' He asked, hoping to go and chat with her now.

[[ooc- Yea sure. Anything to make things more interesting. :)]]

Tumblepaw laughed at his mentors remark about kits names. 'Me neither.' He agreed, although he had never really given it any thought, he was barely out of the nursery himself. As his mentor moved down the next ledge the cream tom prepared to follow, but he hesitated at he saw Nightwing flinch. His ears pricked and he knew that something was wrong but he didn't ask. Insteead, he made his way down the ledge too, his belly scratching on the rock again as he used his slidy trick. He was sore and achey now. 'Are we going straight back tonight?' He asked, hoping the answer would be no so they could stop and rest a little.

[[ooc- Guys just remember this is the Advanced thread so we aren't allowed to do simple one liners. Try and add as much depths as you can. Thanks. ;) ]]

Lola continued closer to the strange, warm light that she had seen from the barn. She could scent lots of cats and she could see them sillhouetted against the light too. As she got ever closer she stopped as the smell of burning came to her. She knew what this was! She had seen it in her time with the twolegs. It was a fire! But this one looked crazy and out of control compared to the small ones she had seen before.

Looking around with her eyes that now reflected the fire she found a spot that she curled herself up next to. The cream she-cat had a good view of the strange fire now and was free to talk to anyone that wanted to say hi. If there was anyone.

Thunderkit tried to cuff his brother around the ear and was about to bite him too when he thought better of it. He didn't want to her in trouble with his mother and he could sense that she was watching them.

Dawnpelt licked Riverkit on the head and could tell that the kit didn't seem any happier after her statement. But there was nothing she could do but wait for her to find out for herself. 'She went to the apprentices den I think.' She mewed, wondering why her brother wanted to know, although she thought that she could guess.

Tangleweed nodded and stepped up to take a step closer to Lacedream. 'I'll go and talk to her.' He whispered and headed to the apprentices den.

    --------------
Inside the apprentices den Mistlepaw was trying to make herself comfy in a nest close to the back, she had had a good training session but now she was tired.

Tangleweed pushed his way carefully inside the apprentices den where he could see Mistlepaw. Thankfully the others seemed to be out training or something, she was alone. 'I need to talk to you about Riverkit.' He mewed, straight to the point so she could not avoid it.

Mistlepaw looked at her paws and then at her father, her green eyes clouded by something. 'Ok...' She mewed, swallowing her anxiety. She kind of knew what he was going to say before he said it.

    -------------

Dawnpelt lifted a paw and wrapped it around Riverkit, playfully though. She might be an old warrior, but she could still act young. 'Don't you want to play with your brothers?' She asked, licking her again before looking at the two toms playing in the centre of camp. Other warriors were trying to make there way around them carefully.

Thunderkit toppled off of his brother as he tried to escape. But it didn't take long for him to try and pin him down again.

Lola watched as the cats wandered by in each direction. There shapes like shadows as the moon shone against them. She couldn't believe that a fire could be such an enjoyable thing to admire. She had always thought that cats feared fire, especially so close to their forest home. But maybe she had been mistaken after all.

The cream she-cat rose to her paws and stretched out her small shape, her claws scraping the ground. She would go and find someone to talk to.
