[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:350px; font-family: sans-serif; font-size:11px; color: black; text-align: justify; padding-left:60px;]life was an exhilarating experience and all, but nothing in the world could've prepared her for the true adventure: death.
all her young life, she'd feared it. it was a shadow in the night, lingering and watching her and wrapping it's fingertips tightly around her ankles. she'd never gotten very far achievement-wise because this, and the cancer didn't exactly help either.
she'd fought it for so long; desperate to cling to the pitiful excuse for a future she still had, but something snapped inside of her one day, and the will to fight was gone.
there isn't any reason to fight if you've already lost the battle, right? just save yourself the trouble and stop breathing for a second, will you? maybe then you'll be able to get some peace.
she woke up in a cloudy forest of pink-dusted trees and shimmering golden grass. the world was lit up like a christmas tree, sparkling and shining and pulsing with vibrancy. it was absolutely astonishing and she simply couldn't hold it in.
across the fields she danced, black eyes filled with stars. her light paws hit the ground over and over and she tripped and stumbled but she felt no pain. no sorrow. the chains were gone. she was free. she was faded but not dead. it was a sensation indescribable.
she found the camp in the early morning, when the dew was still fresh on the petals of what seemed to be the most colorful flowers she'd ever seen. the building was tall and it held all sorts of strange scents. perhaps there were more like her; those who'd risen from their graves only to find themselves in what had to be the most peculiar and wonderful world in existence?
there had to be.
and if there weren't, well, she'd need to do something about that, wouldn't she?
