//its alright, i understand! Ive started back to school myself lol
Exton grew a look of defeat as Barnaby stood and exited the bathroom to gather his things. He took a deep breath and tried to bury his thoughts. He only saw them as distractions right now, anxiety ridden distractions.
He let the bathroom door hang open upon Barnaby's exit, only to grip onto the sink counter top and shakily pull himself to stand. He staggered in front of the mirror and fluttered his weak eyes towards the horrifying reflection.
Exton gave a look of distasteful pain, not only at the reflection...but the adrenaline of it all was started to flutter up from his wounded body. Exton moved his way from the bathroom, doing his very best to keep up against the wall. But as soon as he stepped through that bathroom door it was almost like turning the lights off. Barnaby's sweet heartbeat, the overwhelming smell of blood in the apartment. It may have smelt like blood to a human, disgusting and messy. But with the heightened senses and thirst of a vampire, it was almost sickening how appealing it was to him. He knew right where that blood was too. He could just...take it. Just a sip.
Exton could feel his mouth water, his uneasy feet starting to trail after the lovely scent weakly. He turned the corner and seeing the corpse turned that switch in his head right back on.
Thoughts and pictures entered his head at the sight of the corpse. Something that never bothered him before jarred him to the core at this very moment. All because of Barnaby. The fear Barnaby held...he didnt want that for his Bunny. Ever!
Shhh... It broke off into a fit of laughter and Exton slammed his teary eyes shut, turning himself away from the body and keeping right against the wall. Words couldn't explain how bad he wanted just a lick of it. But he wouldn't allow himself in this environment. Barnaby needed to be kept safe, Exton didnt need anymore mistakes.
Exton pulled himself together and, clenching his jaw and trying to stand straight. He sighed, sharp and shaky as he made his way over by the door to wait. He tried not to think of the pain that played with his head, it was awful. All over his body.
Exton hugged himself and stayed up against the wall. He didnt really feel the need to pack or being anything. Nothing of importance to him was here, except Barnaby of course.
