The ebony lab would cartwheel over, following Pyrotechnics. She was quite aware of her lateness but in a good mood nonetheless, attracted by the earthy scent of fresh soil and seeds and bulbs galore. An open smile was fresh on her maw as her interested blue eyes swiveled, taking in the sight of her Clanmates all partaking in Jericho's favorite activity - gardening. "Ooh, I'll help!" she announced, her blue optics glittering. There were lots of things that she wasn't experienced in, but gardening was one of the biggest. Especially since Jericho was one of her best friends and it was likely his favorite hobby, she made a decision to learn how to become the best gardener she could be.
Kate took another step forward, eying all the different herbs. [b]"Which one should I choose? And where should I plant it?" She didn't want to accidentally murder a plant, but wanted to help eagerly.

With every word that came out of this guy's mouth, Kate found the disgust inside her bubbling up more and more. She could handle him being rude to her, yes, but he was disrespecting each and every one of her Clanmates, and the leader too. "Fine," she answered him, because in a way she had to quite grudgingly admit that he was right, at least in the sense that she couldn't just be nice to him after being quite rude. First impressions were everything. However, the lab didn't quite care what this guy thought of her at this point. Lifting her chin and puffing out her chest, she bit her tongue to avoid spitting out any other rude words she had been about to say.
[b]"If you want to have a happy stay, you might have to shape up your 'tude," she said in a high voice, void of emotion. Without waiting for a response, the lab swiveled and stormed off towards the camp. If she stayed, she wasn't sure what she would've done - probably something that she'd regret.

She'd give a nod to acknowledge Heavenlypup's presence, before focusing her attention back on Austin. A pool party was fun - another awesome way to welcome summer to the islands of SunClan. An inspired grin appeared on the lab's face as she nodded to Austin. "I'll be looking forward to it!" she chirped. [b]"Any other summer-oriented things that would be fun? We could do stuff on the beach, like surfing competitions or beach volleyball games!" Her blue eyes glittered as she listed her ideas, looking around those gathered for any more input.

Seeing as Iason had taken care of everyone except for the deputy, Kate blinked and turned her attention to Immy. "Immy, let's see.." she trailed off, hunting for what would be an appropriate task to the immortal. [b]"Hold a combat training session of any type. Maybe on how to use a katana or basic knife skills or something?" Thinking of knife skills made her think of Bucky, which instantly caused her to plunge deep into a pool of nostalgia and sadness. For a second, her blue eyes glazed over before she shook it off and looked around, embarrassed.

Her line of sight snapped to Phoenixcrown as he spoke, and she nodded to him, grateful for the assistance. A strong plant was good; there was a less likely chance for Kate to accidentally butcher it, right? But there was a problem. "Okay! What is a rush?" She had never heard of such a plant.

As Jericho explained his idea, Kate made sure to give him a warm smile. She felt a bit of tenderness for the medic, especially after the one thing that had happened, and anyways she didn't have to fake her approval of the idea. The choose your own adventure did sound very fun, and it would definitely require the Clan to work together - therefore a great bonding activity. "I've never heard of anything like that before," she said excitedly to the small tabby, blue optics glittering in anticipation. [b]"I can't wait!"
Snow in July? Something that seemed to be physically impossible but definitely resulting in a ton of fun. Her lips curled up into an even wider smile at the sha creature's suggestion. Creativity was sparking high in this meeting. [b]"Yay! We haven't had snow yet in our new territory, have we?"

In the meeting yesterday, Phan had reminded the ambassadors to organize a one on one event with their respective Clan, and since Kate had been slacking she decided that getting it up as soon as possible would be the best approach.

And so here was the lab on the beach of the main island, sitting on a heap of sand next to a wide array of plastic buckets and shovels, along with sandcastle molds. There were countless tools for the SunClanners and SeaglassClanners to use to unleash their creativity and fashion the best possible sandcastles. Kate hadn't told anyone about her idea, hoping it would be a pleasant surprise.
"Ay, SunnysunsunClan!" the lab would begin, projecting her voice as loudly as she could. [b]"Gather on the beach for a sandcastle building competition. We're going to hopefully be joined by SeaglassClan, and if you want to help with judging then let me know!" She took a breath before continuing, feeling the salty tang of the ocean air in her nostrils. [b]"You can enter by yourself or as a team of up to three! Let's go all out with these sand castles." She grinned and cast a gaze around, waiting for whoever would show up first.

On the border was the lab who hadn't visited in a while and was relishing the familiar salty tang of the ocean. She had missed SeaglassClan, and was glad to be back here. Since being recently appointed deputy, she had been quite busy and was liberated at the opportunity to organize an event with SeaglassClan. She hoped that this wasn't a stupid idea, and the deputy of SunClan took a seat with her black tail curled around her paws.

The lab did a sort of double take at the approaching feline, wondering where she'd seen her before. Trying to hide her moment of undisguised shock, Kate gazed at the feline and wondered why she was so familiar. A memory of collecting seashells on the beach suddenly came to the SunClanner, and a smile crept onto her face. "Louvreart!" The leader of SeaglassClan had lived in SunClan before - that was where Kate knew her. SeaglassClan was just getting better and better.
Kate took a heartbeat to compose herself. [b]"Er, Louvrestar, I mean!" she corrected herself, blue eyes warm. [b]"SunClan is doing great, how are you guys? And I came on behalf of an, er, invitation. We are holding a little sandcastle building competition and wondered if you guys would like to attend as some one and one Clan bonding!" There was more to be exchanged, but she had to get the basics out of the way for now.

The familiar scent of BloodClan as well as the buzz of her conversing clanmates were what drew Kate over, tail wagging and bouncing energetically on her paws. Her spirit dampened a slight bit when she realized she didn't recognize the russet wolf with the gifts, but it wasn't too late to become friends, right? The deputy lifted her chin and focused her bright blue gaze onto Russiansiege, giving him a sunny smile. She'd introduce herself after he responded to the four other SunClanners so as not to flood him with words.

The lab whose roleplayer had been MIA lately was listening as her Clanmates swapped suggestions, and her ears perked up at Heavenly's lesson idea. Phan had said something about art and it reminded Kate of one of her previous weekly tasks - to hold a berry painting session, just like the old SunClan days. "Ooh! We should learn about old, ancient SunClan traditions. Like.. uh.. Familiars!" Saying the word brought a rush of nostalgia about the deputy, and she nearly swayed on the spot. Remembering Sharkbait and his little firefly familiar made her feel so disappointed - such a strange emotion. She felt strangely responsible for these customs that had died over time, and she felt proud of herself for coming up with this idea to preserve ancient SunClan in a way.

The recently promoted deputy was quietly listening in, unsure of when to put her input out there. She was in the presence of some very commanding figures, and although she was quite comfortable with Phan and Immy, the other leaders could be a bit intimidating. Cocking her head slightly at Anima's suggestion, she gave a few wordless nods. She wasn't going to say anything just yet, since she was still a little less-than-updated on the situation with DarkClan, but would wait for a moment when she could add something useful.

aye so I know my activity has been a little under the weather lately, i'm on summer vacay with not a lot of access to a computer but I will keep going online daily and get in as much activity as I can! just a little note for why I haven't been as active as I used to.

The lab mix eagerly returned the leader's hug, smiling widely. Seeing old friends, unexpected or not, always made whatever she was doing feel worthwhile. She hadn't been too close with Louvreart, but they had had enough interactions to make her feel like a longtime acquaintance. It was nice to see where her path had taken her - clearly she was doing great things. As the leader accepted her invitation, a wide smile crept across Kate's face. "I can't wait!" she said excitedly, her eyes travelling to the next ones to arrive. She gave them each friendly nods of acknowledgement, happy with the enthusiasm shown.
Of course, what was a visit to SeaglassClan without seeing Kyou? [b]"Hey, Kyou! It really has. Gosh, it gets so busy in SunClan. Oh - I've been promoted again! This time to Noblewoman, which means I'm a deputy!" As she relayed all of this information to the SeaglassClanners, her blue eyes twinkled with obvious excitement despite the fact that she was completely rambling about things that didn't quite matter.
[b]"Oh, it's okay if you aren't good. I've never really built a sandcastle before - it looks easy, though, doesn't it?" A giggle accompanied her words and her tail began to wag again. [b]"We'll have fun anyways." She straightened up, aimed to give both Kyou and Louvrestar a quick hug, gave a smile to Slayer and Judith, then turned to leave. [b]"I have to get back now, but I'm glad I got to catch up, even though it was kinda brief. See you guys soon!" she'd say before trotting off, going over things in her head.

Looking at both Iason and Phoenixcrown, she'd give them each a nod and a smile. "Sounds good, thank you guys. I'll judge too!" Kate would then flounce towards Kyou, grinning at each person who approached. [b]"Hiya, Kyou!" The lab called cheerily, attempting to encase the SeaglassClanner in a quick hug before grabbing a plastic bucket. In a few minutes' time, the lab had managed to drag it down to the ocean, collect some water and messily drag it to a spot in the sand. Then the lab would dip her paws into the bucket, getting them wet, and begin to mold a shapeless wall of sorts out of the sand. It was a mushy process, but getting dirty had never bothered the fem. [b]"I'm going to build my own, but it won't be part of the competition!" Kate barked, before getting to work.

This would have been a cinch for Kate if she hadn't lost her wings. Now the lab mix was stuck on the ground on her four paws with two small stumps on her back where the feathered appendages had previously been attached. She tried not to think about it, and focus on the positive aspects of this bird hunt. First, she'd get to become friends with Partyanimal, who seemed to be an exceptionally fun person, and second, she'd be able to improve her other skills, like jumping and stealth. So, Kate would trot after Par happily and without batting an eye. "I'll come with you!" she quipped, gazing around and searching for any signs of feathers.
