[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Oh. The desert. That didn't excite Maggie too much, to be honest it really didn't sound good to her at all. She did not want to live in a barren wasteland with no grass- was she supposed to eat cacti?- and no flowers, and no shade. She was semi-melanistic, making her completely black, besides the insides of her ears and the signature white tail. But she would probably get over it quickly, it was probably much better than the stories she'd heard. [color=pink]"Okay." the name wasn't bad, but she'd probably forget it quickly. It had been hard to stop thinking of the place as 'the empire of sartaq' instead of 'the tribe of many storms' and now it was changing again. But it wasn't so bad, she was pretty sure the name had changed many more times while Subaru had been living in the group, he'd been around for a couple of lifetimes, she was pretty sure.
Anyways, she had no belongings to gather, so she would just wait for everyone else to show up.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The doe nodded as the empress spoke, feeling uncertain about everything she was saying. Nothing sounded like the type of group she was used to, she had no interest in raids or battle whatsoever, and didn't like the idea of living in a desert. But she wasn't usually such a negative nancy, and tried to put on a happy front. [color=pink]"Oh. Okay. I don't mind either way." she bleated, wondering what it would be like to live in a nother group for a while. The only place she'd ever known was the tribe of many storms, and then the empire of sartaq. She wondered if Lily would ever come back, and if she would still be thirsty for war.

Her time as a lynx was over, it seemed, though she was still a bit on the thin side, even in her doe body. [color=pink]"Oh, cool! Where'd they come from?" the girl called as she made her way over, giving the fae a friendly smile. She still didn't know this person's name, so she'd just be nice.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]If he had never seen a deer, and was now just seeing a 'glorious white one', he could now lay his eyes on a black variation- Grey's sister. [color=pink]"Hello! Hi I'm Maggie." she bleated, approaching cheerfully. As her dark eyes spotted her alabaster counterpart leaving, she paused, glancing between the duo and the doe. Hmm.. She was missing something here. Maybe someone else would have been suspicious, but it seemed that, like the others, she was over-trusting. It had gotten her into trouble before, but she still hadn't really learned her lesson.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Maggie didn't exactly have an opinion on powers, Sutton's ghost mode had been interesting, and shape shifting was certainly cool. The doe herself could shape shift, but she didn't really enjoy the power, seeing as it had gotten her stuck in a lynx body for an extended period of time. She was back to her birth body now, though, and was very happy with it.
"Hello! I'm Maggie," she bleated, making her way over with her usual friendly smile and way of acting. She paused for a moment, thinking, her dark eyes narrowed in thought. "Oh- you're the Turtledove now?" she asked, her refined head tilted to one side. She hadn't realized that the serval was her mentor, she didn't remember ever being told such. Maybe she'd just forgotten, though, she did that sometimes. [color=pink]"That makes me your apprentice, then!"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px][color=white]Maggie wasn't liking this new territory. It was so.. so.. not her. She was all for sunshine, but the desert just wasn't doing it for her. So there the doe was, in a dark corner of one of the pyramids, coloring with some paint she'd found somewhere. Well, not exactly coloring, more like painting the stone a nice shade of pink. It was sort of difficult, since she was trying to use some strangely tough grass stuff she'd found in place of a brush or paw. She didn't really think about getting in trouble, since she'd painted tons of stuff when they'd been in the jungle, including one of the temples for Subaru's birthday party.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The doe had never tried to hold one of these, besides the one back when they'd first become the empire of sartaq, but she thought it was just about time. She hardly knew any of the members, which was kind of bad since she'd been around for longer than most of them- besides Subaru, obviously. So the melanistic female stood somewhere shady, bleating out loudly, [color=pink]"Hey, meet and greet over here, if you guys wanna get to know each other!" she tried to call loudly, but everyone was probably nearby. Anyways, she'd thought of a couple of games they could possibly play, and hopefully no one would be too shy to join in.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px][color=white]Maggie was starting to get used to the desert, it was boring and hot and way too dry, but one could get used to anything, really. At the current moment she was trying to have a bit of fun by digging around in the sand, when she uncovered a huge spider. The doe let out a screech, as one does when they see something scary, and launched herself backwards- she was a flight animal, after all. And, sadly, there was a cactus right behind her.
So there she was, limping her way into the main camp area, tears trickling down her face as she looked for someone to help her. They had mostly gotten stuck to her left flank, but also parts of her leg and underbelly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Maggie smiled at the stranger- Louvreart was her name-, excited that she wanted to join. Oh, that was right, Tribe of Ancient Stones. Oops. It was kind of hard to keep up with the name, she was only just getting used to called it 'The Empire of Sartaq'. [color=pink]"Well, welcome to the tribe, then! My name is Magnolia tree where pink blossoms grow- but just call me Maggie, since that's way too long." she introduced herself, sort of stealing the way Eternal liked to tell people about himself. She really liked it though, it sounded nice.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Maggie kept her friendly smile as she listened to the lady- Grey was her name. That was a pretty cool name, it was nice and simple. She found herself wondering if it was spelled with an 'a' or 'e', though. "Oh-," she was drawn from her thoughts at the rather surprising question, and then felt something like a quake starting in her heart at the doe's words. "I- I don't know where I was born- not here-, but my name is Maggie," she felt a bit awestruck, and found herself questioning many things. Where did she come from? She didn't remember, but she knew that Lily had been her adoptive sister, and had helped her come up with the tribe name of, 'Magnolia tree where pink blossoms grow', since she had said her name was Magnolia. But where had the name come from? And how did Grey know her full name? [color=pink]"You.. you know me?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The girl's dark eyes blinked a few times as Verona approached her, and she nodded, dropping to her knees, and then her right side. [color=pink]"May I have something to bite, if you plan on pulling them out." she glanced at the cactus-daggers, wondering how her mentor was planning on treating them. She was at least glad that this had happened to her, and not someone else. The doe seemed to get herself into trouble a lot, though the last couple of times it had been having her blood taken. She hadn't consented, obviously, who would? She still had a puncture wound in her back from where that guy had poked a needle in her- what a strange little dude.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Maggie smiled at the lady, Veronasomething, and felt her heart skip as she stated her position. [color=pink]"Oh- well I'm Maggie, the dove." she bleated, not returning the head dip. She never really did that sort of thing, it wasn't as if she was rude, it just wasn't her. She didn't remember any announcement of Verona getting the position, but maybe she'd just missed it. She was missing Will, though, he'd been such a great guy, like her father or older brother. It seemed a new generation had started, though, and they seemed less like her family and more like her, well, tribe mates.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The doe didn't need to be told to eat the seeds, she took them quickly and held the stick in her jaws. She was pretty sure she knew what was going on, Verona was trying to distract her with conversation so she could pull out the needles. But she knew how much it helped to be distracted, and bleated through her full mouth, [color=pink]"Oh, I get in trouble a lot. But I became a dove because, well I guess because it just seemed like something I'd like." she wasn't sure why she'd taken the position of academic when she'd been offered it so long ago, maybe because she wasn't about to be a vizier, or because she respected Will. Maybe not that second one as much as the first, she just really didn't want to train fighting at all, she'd never had a day of battle training. She'd have to do it eventually, but for the time being she was completely defenseless.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The doe tilted her head to face her mentor, giving something resembling a smile before setting her tool down. "Oh, just painting," she bleated, giving a small shrug. It was a bit bland inside the pyramid, to be honest, everything was the same shade of tan , and a pop of color seemed like it would do the place some good. [color=pink]"Oh, I've just been hanging out in the shade. It's a bit much going in the sun for me- my fur's all dark you know." it was true, she'd only gone outside once in the past couple of days, she was pretty good at not eating, but she'd had to go out eventually to get some water. The water was pretty fun, actually, maybe she'd go swimming eventually. Or maybe eat the little fruits or whatever they were growing on the trees, they looked pretty good.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]The girl smiled at her new mentor, a bit unsure what not being good with conversation meant. Maybe like Subaru, she guessed, he never did talk too much, and when you did talk to him he either made rude comments, sarcastic jokes, or ignored you. But he did talk, and so was Verona, so she didn't see the problem. [color=pink]"Seems fine to me! How are the cupcakes?" she asked, trying to think of something that would let the serval talk more. She certainly wasn't going to try them, but maybe being told about their taste would be interesting.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]//for sure!
Maggie nodded along with the story, beginning to feel her body relaxing. "Oh, yeah that makes sense," she mused, wondering what had happened to her brother. And, having no real sense of what was her business and what wasn't, the doe asked innocently, [color=pink]"What ever happened with your brother?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px][color=white]maggie is currently a dove (healer trainee) in the tribe of ancient stones, which has a pretty bad activity level. i've been meaning to get her in a relationship for a while, so here goes. she is strictly heterosexual, and is a semi-melanistic doe. since she is a sort of big animal, a relationship with something small could be cute? just ideas. i don't really care about the personality, though i would prefer extroverted, and i don't care about relations or anything like that. i'd have to insist that the character joins the toas or does a dual-membership.
this could be long term or short term, it kind of depends on the character.
go ahead and throw stuff at me, i'm kind of open to a lot on terms of the plots, it doesn't have to be 'true love' or anything.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=12px][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 450px; margin-top: -10px;][justify][size=11px]Maggie loved the coffee shop, she could meet up with friends, or just sit around and chat, and the place was pretty cozy. At the current moment the teen had nothing to do, so she'd decided to walk the block from her family's apartment to the place. She planned on meeting someone to be her friend, maybe, or if she was lucky one of her friends would be there. As she opened the door, she realized this was not the case. She'd just have to meet some new people, it wasn't that hard. The girl paused to adjust her dress, something pink, and rather short. It would have been a lie if she said she like feeling pretty, she enjoyed dressing up and doing her hair and maybe even makeup- though on this particular day she'd thrown her blonde locks into a bun and called it good. [color=pink]"Hey, mind if I sit here?" she asked towards Lorelei, going ahead and pulling out the chair in front of the lady and sitting down. She looked pretty interesting, so hopefully she'd want to talk.
