And she knew a certain game that was good at embarrassing everyone, as well as giving them a good laugh. She'd found a bottle, a wine bottle to be exact, and had created a nice spot in camp to play her game. With all of the new members, hopefully enough of the guys would show up so that it wouldn't be just Subaru.
"Come over here if you want to play a game!" she yelled, trying to sound friendly. She would be pretty embarrassed if no one showed up, as well as disappointed. If this game failed, she'd just think of another one, and hopefully it could take everyone's minds off of what was going on.

Maggie smiled, giving the Pharaoh a nod. She didn't look too enthusiastic. The lynx planned on changing that. At the sight of Subaru, she grinned devilishly. "Welcome." she tried her best to hide the enormous smile, though it was in vain. She was totally ready to publicly embarrass the stoic tom. It appeared that she didn't even have to try, he was already looking pretty nervous. But, for Subaru's sake, she hoped one of the other males of the tribe appeared, maybe Red, Sylas, Axel, Will, the new cub. There were a handful, though they weren't usually around.
"So you guys have played before? I haven't, hopefully it's really fun." and embarrasses everyone. Maggie seemed to have an ongoing obsession with this sort of thing. She waited for more people to show up, so they could hurry up and start the game.

She was fairly sure that Sutton couldn't, and also fairly sure that Crow could not either. She didn't know about Subaru, but assumed no, and -- Oh! Lily said could read! "LILY!" she called, feeling proud of her sister, being one of the few in the clan who could read.

Her smile lessened, but it did not slip from her jaw as she awaited a response.

She tried her best to ignore all of the glum and conflicted faces around her, and gazed at Sutton. But, the speech was a bit boring to her, even though she tried her best to listen.

At the mention of Lize, the lynx's ears lifted a bit more, though they quickly drooped. Poor Lize, she had been so nice. Most of the time. She worried for Will and Lize, she was sure that they had worked hard for what they'd achieved.
As Maggie's name was mentioned, she smiled brightly, still a bit sad for her friends. The lynx felt proud, and enjoyed the gentle smile Sutton wore. And, as if that weren't treat enough, she was asked to step up as Scribe.
"Wow, thank-you!" she was obviously holding in her excitement, and began to fidget, trying to sit still until the meeting was over. She seemed to only grow brighter upon being praised, though she tried her best to keep a cool air. "Thanks." she nodded to Subaru and Crow, not able to wipe the grin off of her face.
Right, join Sutton's side. She'd already done that, she loved peace, no war. War was bad. Her mind jumped around like this, mostly returning to herself after a few thoughts. No later than the moment after Sutton dismissed the meeting, Maggie was on her feet and bouncing around, not feeling nearly as conflicted as the others.

She was a pacifist, and the Pharaoh had advertised peace, which had won over the little lynx. Unlike Crow, Maggie was not paranoid at all. She sort of wished that Lily, Subaru, Lily's cousins, anyone from the opposing side, would appear. Maybe they would want to talk or play a game or something. At this time, the underfed cub was strolling through the jungle, gazing around at all of the flowers and vines. She didn't appear to have a care in the world, and she didn't. Not really.
"Hey Crow, How's -" her voice dwindled down to nothing, and she slowly backed behind a bush. [i]Meat. |
Nasty gross meat. She wished that she'd never spoken up, so that she wouldn't have to talk to Crow, and she wouldn't have to see blood and whatever dead item the she-cat had been carrying.

She skipped up to the Pharaoh, a bright grin on her face. She waited for a moment while Crow talked to her. As soon as the conversation stopped, she grinned brightly towards her leader.
