Nico looked increasingly concerned, his tail beginning to twitch from nerves. Oh why had he listened to inner-Miyu? Now Miyu (the real one) was raring to go and fight a human!
What if he did? If the CEO was killed from a fight with a two-leg, it would have been all his fault. He just about fell to the ground at Rome's comment. Why was inner-Miyu such a bad judge of moments to speak?
"M-Miyu? I don't think that's a good idea..." He trailed off, trying to make the feline see reason. It was most likely futile, but he attempted anyhow.
-
Nico stared at the strange pile made up of Rome and Miyu. He felt relieved, as Miyu's flight of terror had missed him be mere inches. As he gazed down at Rome, he was suddenly aware of how lucky he was not to be in that situation.
Then he realized that his clanmayes were in that situation. "I-um...." He began, trying to form words. "Do you ne-need any help?" He questioned.
-
"Y-you are in The Enterprise." Nico said as he walked towards the kit. "Welcome. May I a-ask, but what is The Rift? I'm a-afraid I haven't heard of it..." He trailed off, embarrassed that he didn't know where the other was from.
-
"y-yes, it has been a little hard." Nicostrata stuttered as he approached Miyu and the guest. He stood, in his opinion, awkwardly next to his leader, trying for a welcoming smile. He wondered what was in the basket, but did not want to look for fear of appearing rude.
-
Nico walked up, whiskers twitching at Miyu's "incentive"
His eyes went wide at the offer of the position of nurse. "I-I would love to!" He replied, giving his bushy tail a happy flick. He smiled through the rest of the meeting, happy at his promotion. No inner-Miyu needed.

Save the miyuse
-
Nico nods briskly and smiled. "Of course, I would love to!"
-
Nico looked at Rome quizzically, racking his brain for references in books that mentioned 'sticks that made noise and killed people.'
"You mean dynamite, right?" He asked, still thinking hard. "O-or wait, a gun?" He questioned, more questioning himself than the other.

Nico, after much hesitation, hopped out of the car, his work leather sandals making a large whap on the pavement. Shielding his unusually sapphire blue eyes to the early morning sun, he looked at Rome and Haley. His strange silver hair (done tastefully in a undercut with his darker hair underneath), shined like dew in the misty light.
He stretched, feeling his drowsiness fade. His clothes, loose cargo shorts that were a little more like pants (hand-me-downs from Miyu that were easily 2 sizes too big), a baggy grey tank that hung off of his shoulders, and of course, his necklace, were all a little wrinkled from the long ride.
He smiled nervously at Rome, his bag framed eyes twinkling with excitement. "C-Come on! It'll b-be fun!" He stuttered to his stoic companion.
-
"W-what can I do to help?" He asked, trotting up towards Miyu and Rome.
-
"I-it explodes." He explained wearily. "Two legs use it to clear spaces. I read about I-it in a book." He remembered the book clearly. It was one about mines, and how they were made. Not particularly fascinating at the time, but he was glad he read it now.

Nicostrata walked up to the border, seeing a new face along with Sylvia. He looked at the poor joiner, who looked to be just as nervous as he. Summoning up what he could gather of Inner-Miyu, le looked at the ghost. "That's not very becoming to say." He began, feeling outwardly confident. Inner-Miyu believed in him. "And w-welcome! I'm Ni-Nicostrata and I'm a nurse here."
Fantastic, the stutter had returned. So much for confidence.
-
"h-hello?" Nico called, looking at the strange feline in front of him. "Can I help y-you?"
It appeared Inner-Miyu was on leave that day, or else he was just as lazy as Outer-Miyu. Either situation was plausible for Nico. Perhaps this was the beginning of him becoming confident without imagining his leader coaching him on in his head.
...
Nope, not today. Inner-Miyu survives to fight another day.

Nico's original mission was to find a place where he could put their herbs. A medicine den if you will.
However, he found himself bewildered by a suitcase that had Zeke's voice emitting from it. "Um... I-I'll try..." he stuttered, inspecting the case,
-
"Y-yes, can we h-help y-you?" He questioned, stepping towards the joiner a foot away from Halfpaw. He was comfortable in The Enterprise, but touching pelts was not something he took lightly.
-
"N-no. I don't Th-think there is any dynamite here." He struggled to say, trying to soothe his clanmates. It probably wasn't working, it was hard to be nervous and assuring at the same time, but it was worth a shot.
-
Nico looked bewildered. "U-um, u-uh... I-uh..."
Poor thing couldn't form a coherent sentence. All he could do was gape at the astral feline. He would never say that he was unhappy living in The Enterprise. Sure, a little nervous around some, but the Nurse wouldn't be the same person without living there. The people that made up the group was his home. He couldn't imagine leaving them just to die.
"T-that doesn't so-sound appealing..." He finally mumbled out, tail twitching nervously.
-
Nico nodded, smiling at the newcomer. "And if you ever get hurt d-don't hes-hesitate to come t-to me!" The stutter had returned, but Nico disregarded it momentarily. There would be time to mourn his inability to speak clearly around others later, he was sure.
-
"We-welcome!" He stuttered, trying for an excited smile.

"Wh-what are you doing?" He asked, looking at the ghost, then at the bubbles.
