the thing about tacitus is that he is a simple guy, in reality. other than his defect, his muteness, he is not very weird or rare, nothing is very odd about the tiger. he has no powers, no weird mutations or anything like that. tacitus is regular, and it a fresh feeling when tacitus sees all these odd things happening in his clan, with the powers or ghosts or whatever.
however, something is going to change today. the strawberry tiger can no longer be considered, normal. he will no longer be powerless or anything simple.

tacitus was simply walking around the city, trying to map out all the building and roads in the camp so the tiger could easily walk around without getting lost or not understanding how to get to a certain building. as his paws easily brought him out of a side road and into the main road running through the camp, tacitus felt a small prick of pain. almost like hitting a blackberry bush or a rose bush. tacitus just shrugged it off, not truly worrying about it simply because he had no idea what had happened. if you came upon tacitus, you'd freeze in confusion, or awe, maybe even fear. Tacitus's eyes were currently switching colors, from red to orange to yellow to green to blue to indigo and finally to violet. the colors kept running through each other in that order, making a rainbow if you watched his eyes change long enough. the change of color happened every five seconds, and the poor cub had no idea it was happening.

[justify]trying to communicate was hard, and tacitus truly didn't know how to communicate any better then body language and movements. as tacitus got comfortable, he listened to his relative speak and thought for a moment, trying to figure out the best way to express what he was feeling. it'd be easier to just smile and hope bumblekit got it, but that truly wasn't how tacitus was feeling. he hated that he couldn't speak, so with a somber look the tiger simply shrugged his shoulder with a inaudible sigh, shoulders crunching down after the shrug.

so weird saying relative because i ship them so hard
and i'm evil cause taccy is going to be without telepathy for a while

tacitus couldn't even image what talking felt like, how it felt to feel your tongue form words or how you could force air from your mouth and make a noise others could understand. he didn't know how it came to easily to some, and then there was bumble who had a harder time with speech. however, the straerry tiger just listened, fluffy ears swiveling here and there to catch the words spoken by his tabby friend, before once again stopping to think of how to answer the male. the male gave a smile to bumble, his pearly teeth flashing before he flicked his tail at bumble, aiming to playfully pat his head, a soundless chuckle escaping his maw. tacitus was mainly trying to answer the part about teaching him to read and write, while the tail whack was to cheer bumble up and push the frown off his maw.

[justify]tacitus walked over to his brother, watching him for a moment before he decided to silently sit down, tail scrapping against the ground to announce himself. tacitus hadn't thought of what he wanted to be when he got older, all he thought of was wanting to speak, the inability to do it caused the male some stress and depression, but he could hopefully speak sometime soon. probably not.

[justify]tacitus let out a silent sigh and simply shrugged, not truly sure how he was holding up. yeah, he was good and everything but he hated how he was disabled! it would of been so much easier to live when you were able to speak, and tacitus was beginning to understand that.

[justify]tacitus let out a silent laugh, a s mile gracing his features as his brother's tail flicked and hit him. it was nice to just hang out with someone, even if he couldn't communicate well enough. as for reading, tacitus did remember bumblekit telling him about it as well, saying once bumblekit learned he'd teach tacitus. tacitus shrugged, as if saying he wasn't sure about it. it'd probably be hard to constantly write stuff down.
