As much as he acted like he despised his clanmates and wanted nothing to do with them, he listened enough to know each of their voices. Seein as he was out on another walk to try and clear his head, it wasn't surprising that he heard this voice. He trotted toward the voice, ears pinned flat against his head and orange-and-silver eyes narrowed in frustration. Why did he always have to greet joiners?! "Who the heck are you, why the heck are you here, yadda yadda yadda." He said irritably, obviously not caring to put any effort into his greeting.

His heart was pounding in his chest, and beads of blood were forming on his left flank, which had been slammed into by the falling rock. He was terrified. What if he never escaped? What if he were to die? What about Razzi? He struggled, a small whimper escaped his maw, he couldn't call for help; that would make him seem weak. So he struggled until he was too tired to move, and all his hope for escape had been drained. "Help..."




    How did he even get in this situation, one could ask. Well, it was really a simple answer--he had terrible luck. He had been taking a leisurely walk around the expansive territory to clear his head, and the rocks had tumbled down a small rise much like the one he had met his boyfriend on. Except that time it had been a dark gray tabby that came tumbling down the hill, and this time it was a bunch of rocks that pinned him beneath them.

He didn't need help! He could get out of this by hims- Oh, who was he kidding? Swallowing his pride, he struggled to get the breath into his lungs to speak, but a last choked out, "Yes!" He could feel the rough edges of the rocks digging into his side, causing him extreme discomfort, if not pain. His thick pelt had absorbed some of the impact, but it could only protect him from so much of the damage. He was sure he probably had a cracked, bruised, or broken rib in there somewhere, and his side would be scraped up beneath his fur for a while.




    Then he heard scrabbling from the other older canine digging (hopefully he was; what else would he be doing?) at the rocka. That brought a new wave of hope to the apprentice--he wouldn't be left alone to die. Thank whatever gods existed, if any did at all!

  • THE NEW RIVERCLAN CHATTING/PLOTTING THREAD!!

    I have two in RiverClan (Aster and Soul), one in ThunderClan (Stormy), I used to have two in ThunderClan though XD
    And now I want to make this new character be born in RiverClan and be a colorful babe but at like four months he'll go to another clan and be a monochrome depressed bean

  • POKEMON TRAINER AU?? | what pokemon would ur riverclanner have?


    ● I chose more dark types and canines because I wanted to stick with the fact that Aster is a dog
    ● Feraligatr, because it's an intimidating Pokémon and Aster thinks he's intimidating. She was his starter, and she's much like him in terms of personality.
    ● Arcanine, because it's got a fiery appearance, just like his personality
    ● Sharpedo, because Aster can't swim very well and he needs some way to get across water
    ● Houndoom, because IT'S A MOTHEREFFING HELLHOUND OKAY
    ● Mightyena, just because that's Aster as a Pokémon
    ● Staraptor, because it's a speedy bird Pokémon and Aster's a sucker for birds
    ● I chose Silver as his appearance because their personalities are so similar
    ● He lives in the Johto region simply for my own personal nostalgia reasons
    ● He was given the Carvanha by an old fisherman he met who was giving newbies his Pokémon because he knew his time was almost up ((Tibereus in the Pokémon world)), and Aster worked really hard to evolve said Carvanha. He was overjoyed when it became a Sharpedo, and he has never taken it out of hia six-Pokémon team
    ● One day, when he was walking around trying to evolve his Totodile, a little Starly landed right on the croc's nose. Aster got a chuckle out of the bird's antics, and tossed a Pokéball at it. He was surprised that it didn't put up any sort of fight.
    ● He was angry after losing a battle and all two of his Pokémon (Totodile and Rattata) were knocked out, walking to rhe nearest Pokémon Center. What he didn't expect was for a random Growlithe to pop out of nowhere (it was actually following him the whole time, being a puppy as it was). He freaked out because, oh, he had no way to fofht it off of catch it, because he had dumbly forgotten to buy more Pokéballs. So when he turned amd ran, he was surprised that the pup followed him quite slowly, not quickly as a predator would have. He threw a rock at it, (he missed, of course) and the Pokémon picked it up in its mouth and brought the stone back, dropping it at his feet and staring up at him with a huge doggy smile. So he made a makeshift collar and leash for it from his belt. Eventually he bought an actual blue collar for it, but as soon as he bought more Pokéballs and had bonded with the Growlithe, he sat down and talked to the Growlithe (a one-sided conversation) for an hour, explaining everything they would be able to do once the Growlithe accepted being caught. Then he kind of awkwardly tapped it with the Pokéball, not knowing quite how else to do it. His Arcanine is now affectionately called 'Dog' by him, although he nicknamed it Zane.
    ● He got the Houndoom by evolving a Houndour he traded Soul in return for his Amaura, which he didn't particularly like the look of.

    Aster hadn't seen his boyfriend in almost a week, so he was beginning to not give a crap whether Razzi would care if he went on these blind date things.     Three others had come to greet him, and they were all...younger than him? That helped calm the feline's nerves somewhat, but he couldn't help but subconsciously hope their kindness wasn't just a rude to get him to trust them. Maybe they knew about him. "Oh, hello. I'm Sophomoreslump Iwakuma, but just call me Soph..." Shaking off his wariness as best he could, the beanie-clad male returned the smiles and wave.
