@everyone -- I will be mega mega busy all weekend so I will get back to you guys sunday night or on monday when im finished with a bunch of stuff that includes helping my mother recover from a surgery she just had yesterday that has rendered her completely immobile. thanks so much for being patient with me, sorry for this sudden tiny burst of inactivity!

[align=center][color=grey] As soon as Shizuka had lowered her head to take a bite, she might feel a cold, steel opening end of a barrel of a gun on the back of her neck. "Mmh, sorry, but I don't think this was such a good idea for you, y'know?" A young man's voice cooed, and Jojo grinned sweetly down at the ghoul girl, finger ready to pull the trigger of his kagune-based weapon. "I hope you've got room for one more in your party, though...."
-
[align=center][color=grey]"Not as rude as making a meal out of another person." He shrugged as he felt the other ghoul's Kagune on his neck, flicking out his thumb as some sort of signal as a small metal ball rolled out between him and Ayato, bursting into a small cloud of snoke. Jojo managed to slip away from Ayato in the cloud, and now was perched on the ledge of a second floor window, legs swinging as they hung over the edge. "Mm, look, you've even gone and made a mess, and now we have to clean up after you, as usual...." He sighed, as another, younger boy jumped up onto the window sill beside him, tapping on his chin. "Jo, do we really gotta fight right now? It's so late, and my roommate is expecting me to bring home take-out.... You know, the sweet strawberry eclaires with that delicious taste? Ah, pastries feel so smooth on the tongue...."
Another boy was passing by the scene, but stopped at the edge of it, turning to look over his shoulder and watch the four argue, weapons all drawn out and ready to flash at any second. He stayed calm, sipping from his cup of coffee, even a smile one his face.
-
[align=center][color=grey]"A slow death? That's not a reward, silly mister!" the younger Dove mused, resting his large pickaxe-like weapon on his shoulder as he purred down at the ghouls. "Awe, it's gonna be hard to fight them when they're so pretty!"
(rushed) -
[align=center][color=grey]"You're really full of it if you think you can kill us," snorted the elder Dove as he jumped down from the ledge onto the street, his younger partner following suit. He waved his harpoon gun around in the air with a bored look on his face. "I know it won't be easy for us to do the same to you, either.... But, that's fine. It's about time we had a challenge to test our skills." Just as he aimed his harpoon gun at Ayato, there was the sound of wood creaking; the boy with the coffe had sat down on a wooden bench to watch, a live audience for the feature presentation of Doves vs. Ghouls. Chishio, the younger Dove, frowned at the boy, lowering his pickaxe. "...Doesn't he know ghouls are dangerous? What if they snatch him up when we aren't looking...?"
-
[align=center][color=grey] The younger dove, Chishio, shrieked as he was sliced across his shoulder by Ayato's kagune; he had been distracted worrying over the strange boy, too busy to dodge the attack. He dropped his weapon as he stumbked backwards, clutching his shoulder, while Jojo's harpoon shot swerved to wrap around the three Kagune that had been gathered to block the attack, holding them together and still. "Hey! Don't think you're gonna get away with that!"
The boy on the bench just clapped his hands softly, smiling as he watched.
-
[align=center][color=grey] Although Jojo had blocked the heel of Ayato's foot from jabbing his stomach too hard, he had still been kicked, skidding some yards on the street as he struggled to stay grounded. Chishio lifted his pickaxe and swung it, attempting to slice at Ayato's back while it was turned to him, while Jojo held his stomach in pain. "D@mn monsters...." He muttered, the chain from his harpoon gun slipping away from the ghoul's kagune and releasing him.
-
-
[align=center] Chishio deflected the Kagune attack with his pickaxe, struggling against the ghoul's brute strength to keep the Kagune from tearing down onto himself again. "Jojo...!" He growled, calling the other Dove's name, who had managed to swipe away his younger partner and his weapon, Ayato's kagune slamming into the ground. Jojo cursed and shook his head, whispering something to the younger Chishio, who covered his shoulder with one hand and molded his weapon back into a briefcase with the other, beginning to flee in an opposite direction. Jojo guarded him as he ran, standing between Ayato and his injured ally. "I really do pity you monsters sometimes," he said, swinging his gun in loose circles around his wrist. "Really is such a shame you won't just negotiate and work something out with us."
-
[align=center] Jojo kept his distance as his partner got to safety somewhere indoors, keeping his weapon ready to use. He lifted it and brushed his fingers over the trigger, though the second he flexed that finger, he fell forward onto his face. The strange blue-haired boy that had been watching had kicked the Dove from behind, a disappointed pout on his face. "Just go home already, there's no way youd stand a chance against several other ghouls, right?" His face was mostly hidden by a bandana sort of mask covering everything below his nose. Jojo, the dove, slowly got up, still clenching his stomach from where Ayato had kicked him earlier, beginning to back away, silently.
-
[align=center]"Your new friend! Ogazi Nesuda~!" The box pulled down his collar that hid most of his face, grinning wide and raising his arms up in the sky joyfully. "Mmmhm! You're the guy with the sister, right? Aya-something?" Has this kid been eavesdropping even longer than he had even been there. He was strange for sure, but not entirely creepy or bad -- just a friendly kid who may or may not actually be a ghoul.
