    =|PERSONALITY|=
She is your standard punk on the surface. You say something insulting, she'll pay you back three fold and threaten your personal well being. However, she is really a timid, easily frightened, and is too afraid to partake in confrontations IRL. There is a select group that she has a longer fuse for however. That group is her eleven internet friends. One of which was a friend that she knew IRL before she had to move, (Jason, my other character), who introduced her to the others, along with helping her out with a personal problem as well.

Biggest goal: To become a world renowned chemist.
Greatest fear: To fall back into her old habit and ruin her future.
Darkest Secret: She fell into the wrong crowd at her old school, leading to an addiction to heroine, but she has long since detoxed and gotten over her addiction.
Does anyone know? If so, how did they find out?: Jason knows. He was constantly picked on by her when they first met, and he noticed the needle marks in her arm. They actually bonded when he got her off of drugs for good, but also made her realize what the real harm in bullying was, making her unwilling to fight with her fists.
Greatest strength: Highly defensive about her friends.
Greatest weakness: She talks a lot of smack, and is unwilling to back it up with the violence she promises.
Greatest accomplishment: Getting off of drugs and getting on the right track.
Biggest regret: Never properly saying thanks to Jason before she moved.
Are they more aggressive, assertive, or passive?: Acts aggressive but is passive in reality.
Emotional or stoic? Mostly stoic unless you light her fuse.
Which do they trust more, their head or their heart? Mostly head, some heart.
Are they an extrovert or introvert? Major introvert.

Jadeite finally returned from the barn with a few pieces of metal and a blow torch.

"I'll fix the crack now...but with the two of them numb for a while, we can't go right away."

Jadeite lets out a large, audible yawn.

"After I patch the crack, we should break for the night."

She then began to heat the metal, not to the weld it to the drill, but rather dripping the melting metal over the crack.

(OOC: I HATE COLLEGE HOMEWORK!! it's taking up all my weekend!)

Jadeite sighed as she looked at the two numbed gems.

"Please just sleep it off. It's going to be easier on you both rather than trying to force yourselves to stay conscious while numbed. That vapor may possibly be similar to the chemical nitrous oxide. It's a numbing agent that makes humans loopy, that's probably why you think it is hallucinogenic. Humans call it laughing gas for a reason after all, and not because it give you the giggles...what you do gives them the giggles."

Jadeite finished mending the crack, and is soon lying down on the ground, stretching out and letting her gauntlet return to her gem.

    "G'night lovelies..."

Jadeite then begins to sleep, her gem slowly fading into each color that she had like a chameleon.

Jadeite's gem stopped on yellow, and she began to dream. She dreamed of the past. Her past with Yellow Diamond, before the bad stuff...during the bad stuff...and after. Her dreams always went a mile a minute, recounting her past for her aside from the details of anything poofing her. It was thanks to that little trick her brain did that kept her from corrupting even though a majority of gems would have been long since corrupted from that time frame. Jadeite was in fact older than some of the dinosaur fossils discovered to date. Jadeite did lose track of exactly how old she was, so she just refered to herself as ancient. She also assisted in a large number of human discoveries. She taught humans her fusion dance, despite knowing that they couldn't. The waltz. She had accomplished many things. Whispering the idea for flying machines to DaVinci, and again to Orval and Wilbur Wright. Assisting Marie Curie as a lab hand while guiding her in the right direction...If humans found a great scientific exploit, there was a chance she was behind it. In fact, when she had first arrived on the planet the humans gave her a name of their own. Atlantis. She indeed was more advanced than them, and gave many technologies that they weren't ready for. She also helped form the homeworld language hoping it would spread. The humans now called it English, as she had begun in what would become England.

(OOC: I thought her dreaming would be a good time to clear up exactly how old Jadeite is, and how long she's been wandering earth. Yes. She is in fact the "city" Atlantis. She was called that because her knowledge was so advanced the humans believed her to have a brain as powerful as every brain in a city working together in unison, because of how advanced she was.)

Jason stared at the memo with a look of excitement on his face. It was so interesting! He knew that this was going to be the kind of thing that could keep his attention, at least for a while. Long enough to not just up and quite in the middle. If anything, it was something he wanted to see the conclusion to most of all. However, the time limit was somewhat exciting. It added urgency to the Idea. He had already volunteered to join the blue team back when it was first brought up, before the disks were even distributed. Jason was ready to log onto pesterchum right away and log into RoyallyInfinite, his account, but his hand stopped, and a look of pure disinterest crossed his face. He was Hyde. Hyde didn't care either way if he played or not. He knew he wouldn't enjoy that activity. He somewhat had an idea of what it would bring if that purple room he spent all of his "quiet time" in had anything to do with it. He did however acknowledge that he would end up playing anyway thanks to Jason. Thanks to that he simply decided to log out of his pesterchum account, EmptyStagnation, so that Jason could get on as soon as possible. However before he was ready to go back to that purple room, he decided to attempt a prank. In the closet was all of Jason's old junk that he stopped playing with over the years, and on the top was a wooden shield that was comically small compared to their body at the current time. He decided it would be funny to some degree to set their strifespecibus to Sheildkind, and basically just hope that Jason would have enough sense to think of a way to use it as a weapon.

Jadeite's gem started to cycle wildly, and she woke up.

    "What's going on? Did something..."

She went silent when she saw Clear writhing in pain.

"W-What's happening to Clear? I...I'll help any way I can!"

(I edited it to fit Moony's post. Muscovite disease makes the gem brittle and gradually flake away into irreparable sheets while not allowing a gem to retreat to prolong suffering.)

Jadeite nodded in acknowledgement. Her gem finally stopped cycling on red, and she summoned a pole arm that was red and gold, It belonged to a Fire Opal she had once known, and it ignited when she focused hard enough. she kept it on standby in case a corrupted gem were near.

"Indeed. Calcite Virus is a fate I wouldn't wish on anyone. Let's make sure we procure enough to treat you as well. You were directly fused with her after all."

Jadeite knew that roar...Of course she did. She had been here before.

"You have the cure, go ahead, I'll hold it off. And don't worry...I'm never alone."

Jadeite pulled out a black bubble, and popped it. This allowed the bright orange gem contained to start to take form. Soon Jadeite was standing on the head of a Giant Snake. Calling out Fire Opal was proof of how serious she was.

"Fire Opal and I will only be able to hold this thing back for so long."

Jadeite smiled gently as she watched Kyanite run off. Another roar echoed through the woods. It was much louder, as it was much closer than it once was.

    "Just keep safe kiddos."

She turns back to the direction of the roar, tapping the bottom of the pole arm on Corrupted Fire Opal's head, causing a fierce fire to ignite from the blade.

(OOC: My home internet is down for now, so lets say that the warp pad was too damaged for Kyanite to return to help fight. I'll have it to where Jadeite found her way to the kindergarten warp pad for her return once my internet returns. And as for Obsidian, I never needed to think one up because Black Jadeite holds an Onyx Gauntlet, that is similar to the arm of a suit of armor. However, Obsidian daggers were all the rage in mayan society, so maybe that could work? Or maybe a spear with an obsidan tip?)

(ooc: at a Library that's about to close so I'll make this quick. My internet will be back by Friday at the soonest and I'm not sure at what time. If it is not on by Saturday i will post an update from the library again. Please don't go dormant on my account. Clear should heal, and perhaps Kyanite could propose a search party in the mean time? I just want you all to have fun in my temporary leave of absence...also check out Story Of Jadeite on AO3. I haven't updated for a while but people were enjoying it before my hiatus started. Maybe you could draw some ideas from that. Oh, the librarian is heading this way to send me off, so i'll be going now. Bye, see you soon!)

(Hey everyone update time. My internet will be back within 24 hours. My mother forgot to pay the bill and now we have to wait for them to turn it back on now that it's paid.)

OOC: Jadeite arives to see all of this mess.

"I'm gone for a few days and I come back to this? Ha...this is why I see myself as your collective mother. Time to sweep this mess up.

Me: Oh great. She's gone full mama mode. Don't let her see your messy room! (BTW I'm back thanks to finally noticing the little " Take me to normal site" button on my phone. Service providers are jerks.)

    (IC)
Jadeite supported herself with the pole arm. Whatever that thing was, it was strong. It had poofed Fire Opal like it was nothing, and smashed the warp pad as well. She was barely able to escape and scoop up Fire Opal's gem.

Okay, so we'll be skipping classes and whatnot, teacher roles tend to drop out of rps from my experience, and that kills a thread. Instead, everything will happen during lunch, between classes, and after school. everyone will be students, and any educational roles that need to be taken, such as detention roles, I'll handle that, don't worry. So on to-

    The Story

We are the new generation. We were born into this world with such a privilege...but we aren't the first. Three generations ago, heroes were born into this world. They were rare, but their powers were great...but now, we're everyday occurrences. Everyone has a power, some stronger than others. That's why we have to attend schools that are focused on controlling and culturing our powers, along with the thinly veiled urging of teachers that one should only use their powers for good. We are the most powerful, most diverse generation. It's up to us to shape the future, so I guess it's up to teachers, and each other, to prepare us for that responsibility. The only question, Is do you want to be an everyday person? A Hero? or...A Villain? That choice is yours.

    The Form

    My Form

Jadeite continued to hobble through the forest, using the pole arm as a walking stick, and something to make sure she kept standing. She was covered in scratches and bruises, but she was not going to let herself poof here.

"Kyanite got away and saved Clear...That's what's important. You did good Jadeite...but you're not going down here. The others are prolly lookin' for you now. After all, that warp pad is gone..."

Jadeite heard a large thud from behind her. Not close, but certainly not far. That thing... It was chasing her wasn't it? Of course, whatever that thing was...Jadeite couldn't tell. Was it organic, or was it gem? She couldn't tell. It was a mystery, and a monstrosity. She noticed a nearby cave, and made her way there. Once she was inside, she returned the pole arm to her gem as she collapsed. Her gem cycled back to green, and she drew her sword. The mouth of the cave closed tightly, and Jadeite shoved her sword through as a marker for the others. Either Kyanite or Garnet could easily break through together, but whatever that creature was would not.

Jadeite found herself shivering, both from the cold and from fear. She slid herself to the wall of the cave. The only light provided to her was from luminescent moss. she pulled out all of her bubbles and hugged them close to her.

    "It's alright kiddos...The others will be here...I hope. L-Let's hope...that they don't run into I-It..."

OOC: I was just imagining it as some sort of creature of an unidentifiable nature cloaked in a perpetual shadow...but giant. Maybe like...a shadow draped golem?
