Smiling sweetly and shyly at Klon and peter, they were both being so nice to her, and then turning her head towards the group’s lecturer as she started to speak. And with submissive eyes and slightly tilted head, Neveah listen closely to the instructions, not wanting to do anything wrong later on when she tried it herself. So charging, tackling and pinning? She thought she could do that, hopefully without embarrassing herself in the process. Like tripping over the dummie herself instead of just pushing it, that would be so typical her, doing something very smooth like that. Not that she were an especially clumsy person, at times she did successfully manage difficult tasks by herself without a problem, but somehow when there was a group, people that could be staring at her every move, she became so nervous she messed everything up in the most not-so-skillful way. But today she were determined for that not to happen. Of course she were always determined for that not to happen. Sighing heavily while taking her ground at some distance from the dummie and fixating her eyes to a point above its middle, she could only do her best and hopefully that would be enough, she bend her head down so her hard-scaled forehead were pointing forward, and took charge against the dirty beige sand bag. To her satisfaction she tipped it over easily, after all she were of a much greater size than it, and pinned it down with her claws piercing through its surface, leaving some grains to hurriedly find their way out. She thought she had done it right but was not sure how it had looked, perhaps she was doing something obviously wrong and were completely unaware of it. Viewing the other members of the group she tried to see if someone were looking weirdly at her, thinking they would probably tell her if she had forfeited the task.

In awe the copper dragoness walked through the beautifully decorated village, the lanterns flickering light played as a reflection in her millions of scales, making it look like tiny bright flames were living within her metal skin. They had all made such a fantastic job with everything, the ornaments, the shops and activities… Nevaeh felt uplifted simply being within this almost magical world born from the excitement of the holiday, and fund herself smiling for no apparent reason and not even caring that someone might thought she looked like an idiot. Ok that was not true, she actually did care a lot and suddenly she were in an unnecessary hurry to quit smiling like a happy fool and instead play it all very cool. Her home always looked like this, no biggie. Awwweee that heart-shaped crystal miniature teacup is so adorably cute. No! Stop it! She breathed in deeply and tried to calm herself. Why could she never just be cool?

The dragoness was looking into a small snow globe, constructed with a smiling pair in the middle, dancing around in their own ball-shaped world of happiness, pink hearts falling from the arc formed sky instead of the usual snowflakes when their word was shaken by an outside dragon-hand. Suddenly she felt as if someone was staring at her and immediately she turned her majestic head to find the source of the probably imagined sensation. Surprise lit up her gold-glowing eyes as she saw someone actually standing there, a male dragon were located only a few meters away from her. His features displaying one orange eye shining with interest and the other decorated with an incredibly cool scar “What a cool scar!” Nevaeh blurted without thinking twice, and immediately feeling the shame of doing so. What if the scar was a sensitive subject? And she had just pointed out the one thing the male really did not want to talk about? It was not normal for her to speak as quickly as she had, of course saying something that stupid though were very typical her she thought and looked down onto the ground, not daring to search contact with his fascinating gaze, and really hoping she had not offended him.

A scavenger hunt? How wonderful! Nevaeh almost skipped up to the scene, wings spread with each jump so that, for a moment, she were gliding only claw-lengths above the ground, feet closing in and then touching the resting earth. Just so seconds later she could through her whole being up into the air yet again, re-starting her self-made game. Well there, the dragoness gave Zurui a joyful smile, her usual nervousness a bit numbed by her excitement for the play hunt. That and also she were slowly getting used to the Wild dog’s presence; the fact that she seemed to be around almost everywhere had become something of a relief for the shy dragoness. It usually took a long time, or an amazingly well first connection, for her to feel like herself around someone, and not have to fear that lurking panic attack, just waiting for the most unfitting opportunity to charge out.

Just catching hold of the treasure-pictures she bend her gracefully built head much closer to have a clearer view, this scavenger hunt would be so much fun!

Nevaeh had been floating on the sky-strong winds, circling over the village so beautifully adorned with all the valentine decorations, when she had caught hold of the group gathered at the edge of their territory. She recognized Peter and Zurui, but who was the other dragon? Curious and a bit alarmed Nevaeh flew closer, until she finally landed amongst the others, her motions performed slowly so that they all would now her presence in good time and not be scared by a sudden arrival. “Hey there” she said to the stranger, and then giving the others her usual shy smile and a bit of a questioning look. Did they know who this person was? She assumed not since they all seemed a bit shield, and Nevaeh felt immediately happy or perhaps relived that she were the one amongst known clanmates instead of the outsider everyone were staring at. Until she realized the girl was hurt, bleeding from several minor wounds. Nothing too bad yet it seemed but if the small gashes were not taken care of they could, if the girl were unlucky, easily become infected. Nevaeh really wanted to help this stranger but was not sure it was her place. She did not even now which clan the other dragoness came from, what if she were an enemy? So before offering something Nevaeh were not supposed to, she turned to Peter and asked him in a bit hesitant but unusually clear voice; “Her wounds might need tending, is it ok if I help her?” then she looked over to the stranger, rising heartbeats silenced by her mind’s growing concentration on the possible task, “Where are you from, anyways? And how do you feel? Any other uncomfortableness but the pain of your wounds?” realizing she were already asking medical questions she rapidly shut up, why were she always so out of control? Of course, this situation were different, if someone were in possible need of care she just could not help herself not wanting to heal them, even if they were an enemy. The majestic dragon covered in shimmering copper scales, simply could not stand anyone else being in pain.

A herb training session? The slender copper dragon were surprised to see her student, well technically her student since she had actually never spoken herbs with him, host a lecture by himself about their shared obligations to the clan. If he had asked her she could have helped him out, but of course he could be more of a loner or simply wanting to do things his own way, and in any case it could be good for him to hold a lecture. It was a great practice, and good for her as well because now she would really find out how much he actually knew, she thought as she sat down in the corner. Deciding not to interrupt but to be there for him in case he needed her.

She breathed out in relief, her unplanned words seemed to have had a complementary effect and for once the dragoness really felt lucky. As he spoke she looked at him shyly but curiously, her eyes shimmering in their light liquid gold. His words were trollbonding, and when he ended with a question she almost forgot to answer him, “A dark Goddess? She must have been powerful… “ she said in her light voice, looking at his scar. To manage to give this dragon that the opponent must indeed be one with great power, “And my name is Nevaeh Armijo, and yeah the snow globe is really pretty… “ she trailed off, looking back at the cute globe holding that never-changing happy moment within, and then looked back at Anubis. “I like your name by the way” she said and blushed faintly, looking down on her claws as they started to dig into the earth a bit nervously.

She listened closely to Aria’s nice words, spoken so genuinely towards the dragoness and about the clan, when a wild dog joined their party with a message of welcome. Nevaeh smiled shyly to the newcomer, her heart rising slightly but as per usual she kept it completely cool; “Thank you so much, Zurui, thank you… And uhmm, oh well yes, thank you for that welcome!” well, it could have been worse, probably, she thought as she tried to quit breathing so fast. Slow breaths, slow breaths… Ok, what had Aria been saying now again? And why were she herself always so easily confused… Anyhow, something about the clan? “That sounds great!” she finally manage, then trying to speak to both of them, something that definitely did not help with the whole breathing slow concept, “How did you guys find this clan, or were you born here?” Yes! Finally a sentence without wired ramblings! “I mean I could guess or something where you’re from, but it would probably be wrong, I mean it would definitely be wrong, I don’t know a lot of names of places, or know a lot of places names… Or, umm “ Oh, oh well.
