before you look and say: wow, she only has one post, please realize that i am a returning member to the site and do have roleplay experience.

- gen 1 characters: GIVE THEM A BACKSTORY. Sure, there are successful characters that are grumpy and rude all the time, but why? You don't wake up grumpy and rude without a reason. Sure, you can be easily upset, but you just don't plain get out of bed in the morning thinking (hopefully): "GODDAMN IT, I'm in a foul mood today. Let me go FUCK UP someone else's life." It's just not how it happens. Why are they skittish? What made them so mad? Why do they cuss all the time? Damn, for adult g1 characters, backstory is key.

- music. music music music. music=muse. Listen to songs when you're museless, because your roleplayer reflexes will force you to find good thread titles in there.

- never make anything official. like, seriously. don't write a 1000-word thread about their new personality disorder and then find you don't like roleplaying like that, cause then you're pretty stuck with it. that's a commitment, bro. always ease into things, and if you don't like where you're heading, steer clear.

- spur of the moment decisions are BAD. plots develop slowly. please, please please don't make your cute little princess all of a sudden get possessed and become a killing machine, simply because it just DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY. the more you can draw ideas from real life, the better.

so, so guilty of the personality thing. i did it with appearance to, for the reason that everyone else had like 1000 word sections and here i was with a lonely little paragraph. owo

So I have a pretty big plot in motion with my only character right now, and the plot is that she showed up in The Rift (TidalClan) looking for him, because he told her to meet there. But, shocker, he wasn't there, and soon she's going to realize that he was kidnapped and hidden in the Void (dream world.) She will go on a big quest to save him, etcetera, but then they'll get back to the rift and I'll be stuck playing two characters.

Bottom line, is there anyone willing to play him? I can write up a basic bio for them, or they can decide most of his personality, but here are the basics:

Backstreet
Born vaguely in 'The North,' on a mountain.
Melanistic wolf with golden eyes.
Chivalrous, noble, good guy. Goofy and friendly, but can get possessive and protective, and overreact.

I'm glad people are at least thinking through it instead of jumping at it and not playing him. <3

Kind of picky, kind of not. I'm looking for a fast paced group that's medium-small. I don't care if its front or back, but nothing massively huge like BloodClan or ThunderClan. I'd be willing to try WindClan, but I think it's pretty big, and I want somewhere where its easy to be noticed. c:

WindClan sounds cool! Besides that, I'd probably go with the KoE, because it's somewhere I've been meaning to try for awhile. But WC, man, 2 years on this site and I still haven't.
