[font=Georgia]After a long few moments of weeping and openly nuzzling into the comforting gesture, Rainpaw finally processed that the kind blur was Elvis, and that Elvis had asked him something. He lifted his head from the ground and worked to stifle his sobs, resulting in hiccups and even more stuttering than per the norm. "M-memori-ies in dre-eams: A-auntie -hic- and th-the fox and R--hic- Ruby, a-and, and..."

His face scrunched up with emotion, ears flat back as he tried his darnedest to articulate his thoughts. Finally he blurted out- "I'm disgusting! I'm pathetic! Why even bother w-w-when -hic- when-- ..." He let out a huff as he let his head drop back down to the ground with the rest of him, face relaxing into nearly numb despair. "... When I'm useless."

Laying there, he realized what a ridiculous mess he must look. Rainpaw pushed himself up off the ground into a hunched-over sitting position. Head low, his face darkened a bit, though he coughed out a nearly humorless chuckle. "S-sorry, I j-just get like th-this sometimes. W-when I think too much."

He raised his eyes without moving his head much, taking in the now somewhat less blurry face in front of him. He could feel his face flush a bit, chest warm with embarrassment, and...? Flustered and a bit confused, he once again apologized. "S-s-sorry..."

And so he began to run, faster and faster, not wanting to upset or disappoint his mentor. At the start of the fourth lap, wheezing a little bit, he noticed himself slowing down. No, you pansy weakling- MOVE IT! With that inner scalding, he could feel his legs picking pace back up.

And at the end of the fifth lap, Rainpaw slowed to a jog to head back over to Deutschstar. Breathing heavily and still wheezing a little bit, he asked, [color=#77AAFF]"Good?"
