Treading lightly across the lush floor of a forest before pausing at the top of a small boulder-lined dip to sniff, Rain was filled with fear and unease. He could hear and smell other cats quite nearby. Might they be hospitable, or will they tear me apart like the fox did to Ruby-- He shook his head quickly, as if shaking cobwebs off. No, I have to keep my mind off of her and stay trained on the present danger. The sound of someone approaching caused Rain to stiffen then crouch low to the ground. Who could these cats be?

Rain felt his eyes pinprick a bit at the sight of the much larger animals coming up to him, though he tried to hide it. Standing slightly on shaky legs, he managed, "I-I'm Rain. Where am I?".

Join? Now fully standing and a bit less shaky, Rain simply blinked. "Um, thank you... Roxas. I-I think I've heard of a 'Thunderclan'...". He trailed off a bit, thinking to himself, I do need a new home, and I'd love to help wherever I can... But I don't know much about the whole thing... "How many are you? W-what would I need to do to join?"

He perked up a bit at the mention of 'treehouse', as he loved to be in the trees. "I-I'm good at tracking and secret listening.. Er, I won't just be in the way, will I?" Just what I need, to be a burden.

He smiled back at their kindness, though the female seemed to have something else to say, something that looked to be clashing with what Roxas had said. No need to pry, I suppose... "Th-thank you! I'd love to join." He cautiously but happily made to follow to the camp, trying his darnedest to remain somewhat optimistic.

I remember the Elite from way back before my hiatus- actually started to join it before I left! Shame it's gone, I would probably join if it came back around.

Hi, I've been on hiatus for a really long while, and have simply started over character and story wise. Now, back then there wasn't much of a "supernatural" element to the game. Is it almost to the point of being mandatory these days? How does one go about playing a character with powers?

Brand new to the Clan and knowing nobody and nothing about it, Rain slowly walked towards the group now forming a 'meet-and-greet'. Unsure of himself and not wanting to interrupt their chat about... demons? What? He cautiously allowed a, "H-hello, I'm Rain." Oh goodness oh goodness so many strangers. But I suppose I need to get used to it now- I'm one of them!

Rain settled down in some short brush close to the group. Doesn't hurt to watch, right? I need to learn about the others here anyways. Maybe I'll join in, too.

Hey, might anyone be interested in your character mentoring mine?

Rain perked up a bit at spotting Roxas, one of the other members he knew. He was about to call out to the wolf, but hesitated upon thinking about it some more. I wouldn't want to intrude... Though he does seem quite nice...

That could make for some interesting conflicts, considering Rain's anxiety and introvertedness and such >w<

He had only been a member for a short while, but Rain was already beginning to feel like dead weight. Hearing of the option of having a mentor, he perked up. That would be perfect! Is there anyone who would take me? His mind drifted towards those he had met whom he would love to have as a mentor... Quietly, Rain made his way towards the clearing to try and find someone to talk to about this possibility. "I-is anyone around?"
