There was absolutely nothing to do at this time, her friends were probably out into the forest somewhere, the older members out and about, which she was glad that a snow leopard in particular she knew was likely to be busy, or at least somewhere not to bother her. Everyone was busy doing something, but there was nothing to cure her boredom right now, all she was doing was laying down, staring at her paws.
A breeze from the wind ruffled her brown-black striped fur, and she raised her head up as she blinked her blue-green optics to look around her at the village. You could guess it was okay for the peace, but Adaline was a hyped up young she-kit who always was looking forward to things, even helping out others. Nobody seemed to need help for anything though, but she kept looking for signs of anyone possibly going out into the forest or trying to carry something as a sigh escaped from her maw.
Why should she wait for anyone now that she thought about it, she could go out into the forest by herself, hunt maybe? That would pass the time surely. Adaline raised herself up, and once she got onto her paws, they started to take her towards the path to the entrance. She sped up from a walk to a run, and began to see more and more clearly of the entrance as she got closer. Once she got there, she slowed down to a walk once again, and stepped out, starting to feel the lush green grass under her paws.
Lets see... the feline thought to herself as she tread along the forest floor, looking side to side for any signs of prey. She had decided to go hunting, and maybe while at that, she could catch lots of prey, and bring it back proudly, all by herself. Ah maybe a goat? Thats what that snow leopard tried to catch but failed to do so. If she brought a goat back to the village, the look on his face would be amusing to see. But first, she needed to find a goat.
After spotting a mountain, her gaze rested upon it as it snapped in her mind that mountain goats could be there, but it wasn't likely, but she had to hope that at least one would be roaming around up there. That mountain wasn't that high, but that was good, in other words, she could climb it and catch something. Adaline turned into the direction of the mountain, shifting her paws to begin walking again.
When she only took a few steps, a voice, followed by another stopped her in her tracks. She whipped around and listened, hearing that it came from the border which was nearby. She turned around once again, as she was curious as to who these voices belonged to, as it wasn't of anybody she knew or recognized. Adaline started to speed up to a run as she had did to get to the entrance, turning around a corner and her fur brushing pass the soft bristles of a bush.
Adaline stopped as she arrived to see two small canines, about her age, standing at the border. She now stood a few feet away from them, and her blue-green eyes examined them for a moment before she began to speak. " Who are you?" She asked with a straightforward voice, she didn't think they were here to cause trouble by gut but, she knew she couldn't trust strangers. Wanting to join is what they said if she heard them correctly, and she nodded her head to their previous statement.
