It didn't take much to stir the female from her slumber and Englishivy's voice, as low in volume as it was, proved to be no exception. It took her a moment longer to register who the voice belonged to but once she did, Dark was up on her paws and promptly answering the door. With a small smile decorating her features, she'd set her gaze upon the Harold and offer a respectful dip of her head in greeting. "Good day, Englishivy. I hope that you are well today." The Legate said as she exited her room to join him. She wondered what type of task he had prepared for her and waited in a lingering excitement.

Darkskies would approach the scene curiously and yet quietly, as it appeared that there was a reunion of the sorts going on between Englishivy and their visitor. It was the first time that she'd really been allowed a glimpse into their Harold's own life outside of his duties and she couldn't help but feel a little intrigued. With a gentle smile placed on her maw, the dark blue-tinted feline would offer Glitteringgold a small nod in greeting as she seated herself beside him. She remained silent for the time being so as not to interrupt the current conversation taking place, but would switch a friendly and interested gaze between both Englishivy and Canoris while the two greeted one another. -
As it usually did, the sickness in her mind would resurface during times of happiness and tranquility in her life only to remind her of what it was that she had done and who it was that she'd become. Self-defeating thoughts that would pop up at the most unexpected of moments and continue to drag her down for hours at a time. She'd spent a couple hours of the day already stuck in bed that morning with heavy thoughts and little motivation to do anything that was expected of her. She'd skipped her usual solo patrol around the boundaries, as well as her breakfast, simply to bask in the shadowy isolation of her quiet room. It wasn't until the female was nearing her third hour in darkness that the sudden and overwhelming feeling of escape began to pick at her mentally exhausted mind.Forcefully, the Legate dragged herself from under the covers of her bed over to her crafting supplies and began to rummage through her materials. Shoving them into her satchel, she made great haste in collecting everything that she needed so that she may flee from this depressing place and start in on an activity that she truly enjoyed. On her way out the door, she'd pick up the satchel and the brigandine armor that she had been working on some weeks ago and sling them over her backside. Afterwards, she'd promptly remove her presence from the castle and find a comfortable space along the waterside just outside to settle down in. Despite an experience of hers many years ago that provided her with an intense fear of the water, Darkskies continued to appreciate its overall beauty and the calming effect that it had on her to this day. As long as she wasn't in or floating atop any large body of water, her fears would remain dormant.
Her sterling grey gaze lingered on the shimmering surface of the water for a few long moments, simply drinking in its gentle appearance. She drew in a deep breath and then proceeded to place both her satchel and the armor piece on the ground next to her. The sun overhead was warm but not unbearable, and Darkskies appreciated its soothing touch upon her fur. It was a much needed distraction that the feline was more than pleased to have been granted. She was tempted to sprawl out across the soft grass and abandon her initial objective entirely, but managed to resist in some measure. Instead, she put the activity on hold for the time being and plopped herself backwards into the grass, eyes closed contently as she stretched herself out. Despite everything she had previously felt and thought, the female appeared to be blissful and at peace as she bathed in the sunlight. It was almost as though she'd forgotten how her morning had originally the started out and had transitioned into a completely different state of mind.

It had been a few days since the Presbyter's son had arrived to the tribe and Darkskies was surprisingly quite eager to see how the young male was settling in. It had been a while since she'd truly been invested in the lives of anyone other than herself and, until the day she'd resurfaced within the tribe, could not have pictured herself seeking out others with the purpose of simply checking in with them. It felt unusual to her that she had changed so much in the past month and a bit, though it wasn't something that was unwelcome in her life. She'd spent too long prioritizing only herself and, now that she was a part of something bigger than her, felt that the change was necessary. These were the animals who she lived and worked alongside - not to mention go to battle with when the need for it arises. It was important that she get to know her tribemates and establish a good relationship with them.It is for this reason that she was out and about that afternoon, casually keeping an eye open for Blacktop with the hope to converse for a bit. The only issue being that she wasn't entirely certain where he might be around this time of day. For the time being, she would remain in the courtyard and occupy herself with inwardly scheduling out the remainder of her week. It was still necessary that she visit the Volary Flights after being assigned as their new ambassador and she wished to do that, along with taking a trip to the trading posts, sometime in the near, near future. Perhaps, she'd ask the tribe if there was anything they'd like for her to pick up, within reason, when she did eventually leave the territory.
Biting down softly on her lip, the blue-tinted feline lost herself in her own thoughts while she waited for the sight or scent of Blacktop to pull her away. Surely, the male couldn't be too far?

Darkskies brightened a little as she was greeted by the newly appointed Blizzardclan leader with a nod of the head and would promptly return the respectful gesture. She was thrilled at the idea of the clan hosting monthly or bi-monthly meetings for their allies and would be more than open to attending them herself, if given permission from their Harold. It would be a good opportunity for her to learn more about the daily politics that occurred in and outside their tribe, as well as acquaint herself with the key players. The very prospect of learning was something in itself that was exciting to the Legate and she was ready to jump at any opportunity to do so. Most of the time, there was no harm in educating oneself further. -
Grey eyes stared widely at their surroundings as their owner, a newly appointed ambassador within her tribe, approached the border line of the clan that resides here. As it was her first time ever visiting one of her tribe's allies, the feline was genuinely interested in learning the faces of the members that reside in Volary Flights and the roles they play. She wished to make great effort to ensure that she visited frequently and provided any help that she could to the clan.As she arrived at the border, the blue-tinted feline would place a traditional gift basket on the ground next to her and settle herself down comfortably. Inside the basket was a mixture of items simply compiled for her initial introduction and included goodies such as hand-made candles, knitted blankets, a few medical supplies, an assortment of treats and a few homemade jewellery crafted using the flowers from the Tribe of Unbounded Sky's own meadows. It felt right to include an item or two from her own home - like a little personal touch to the basket she had prepared for them. She figured that, on top of providing any requested items from her, the Legate would organize a different themed basket for each visit that she'd make here. Why not, right?
With a gentle smile decorating her features, the female would draw in a deep breath of the uniquely flavored air and proceeded to wait patiently for someone to notice her presence.

The feline offered Glitteringgold a polite nod of her head in greeting as he approached to join the conversation and then glanced curiously toward Windmaker to see how he was faring in all of this. Her ears would perk as her old friend addressed her once more and she turned a content grey gaze back toward him to deliver a soft nod in agreement. "It's good to see you too. I'm glad that you've returned. I wasn't sure when I'd see you again." She would say to the male while she temporarily seated herself within the group. Honestly, she couldn't remember the last time she'd actually seen the male and felt some guilt in the fact that she hadn't been able to keep herself going strong when he had been active within the tribe. Now that he had returned, however, it would allow them the opportunity once more to properly catch up and reignite their friendship. The Legate was looking forward to it. "I've been well, actually. How have you been?" She'd reply in interest. -
Darkskies would be the next to respond to the Presbyter's call as she'd arrive just after Englishivy with a small smile on her lips. "Good day, Glitteringgold. Good day, Englishivy." The female would purr in greeting with an additional respectful dip of her head. She'd then raise her gaze to Glitteringgold in hopes to receive a task for this week. It seemed like only yesterday that she had been assigned the task of hosting a lesson on her favourite hobby. Having enjoyed doing that immensely, the cat was both eager and curious to hear of what might be in store for her this week. -
In the lost world, thunderstorms were often interpreted by those who followed Starclan as a religion as an angered message from their starry ancestors above. It was a rare occasion that was gifted upon their followers as a hint of guidance from within the afterlife. When a clan committed a crime or an unethical war erupts suddenly between clans, their ancestors would make their disapproval known and issue a clear warning in order to re-encourage order and re-establish direction. The storms that would develop were usually severe in structure; loud, dark and terrifying as to prove a point. Though the old world was gone now, Darkskies still believed in Starclan and hoped that one day, though a part of her felt that she didn't deserve as much, she would be allowed into their good graces again. That perhaps far stretched hope would resurface every time a thunderstorm would arise or an event of great convenience would occur. It was Starclan that was occupying her mind as she glanced up at the darkening sky. She was out of camp on a casual stroll and would surely be caught in the storm if she didn't turn back shortly. Her face would fall in slight disappointment as she slowed to a stop and turned her gaze back toward camp, considering whether or not she should just abandon her stroll now and seek shelter, or accept the risk of a wet and uncomfortable pelt in order to continue. The feline hadn't but a few moments of thought on the matter before the wind, growing increasingly stronger with every passing minute, brought to her a familiar scent. Her ears perked to any and all of the sounds around her in an attempt to pinpoint the Harold's location. If he was near then perhaps the two of them could head back to camp together? A little company couldn't hurt and of course he need only voice a decline of her invitation if he did not wish to do so.
As she headed in the opposite direction of the blowing wind, closer toward his scent, she would begin to pick up on the rumblings of a voice nearby. Not shortly after, did she catch sight of the honey-coloured canine seemingly leaning in toward one of the thorn bushes. "Englishivy?" Dark would call, audibly yet softly as not to startle the male. "Are you alright?" From her position, it appeared as though the Harold might, or might have been, vomiting into the bush. She didn't want to assume anything but could definitely relate if that was indeed the case.

Darkskies had to admit that due to the dark colouring of her fur and the way that she was with her personality, being more of a bold and generally less feminine feline, the Legate had half-expected to be handed a crown of a similar dark nature. She was a little surprised that her mother had instead prepared a very light lilac coloured crown for her, and Dark fell in love with it instantly. She gratefully accepted the gift with a bright smile beaming on her features and proceeded to delicately place it on her head. "Thank you very much." Purred the female. It was so unlike something that she would wear. However, rather than it feeling out of place atop her head, it in turn made her feel more confident, lovely and different than who she truly was. It was almost as though she'd been allowed a glimpse into the life of an entirely different version of herself, who was instead graceful, and elegant, and a genuine beauty whose aura demanded attention and attraction everywhere she went. Though she'd never audibly admit so, the cat kind of felt like a princess. She could cornily imagine herself prancing happily through the meadows like a carefree child.Dark would, of course, resist her urges, and in lieu of acting on them would simply sit back with a pleased smile on her face while her imagination went wild. This was a new feeling to her and she wished to bask in it for a little while longer.
-
Darkskies would promptly rise from her seat and offer the three that would approach her a respectful dip of her head in greeting. She noted the sickly coughing that emitted from the first clan member to join her and frowned slightly at the thought of him being in any discomfort. She supposed that she shouldn't be surprised that some animals here would be physically affected by the events that had occurred in the recent past but that didn't necessarily mean that seeing the damage with her own eyes - or rather eye, considering that she was half-blind - would be any less impactful. It made her stomach churn and the desire to help in any and all ways possible even stronger in its nature."Ah, hello, Enjolras." She'd speak his name more slowly, ensuring that her pronunciation was equivalent to how he'd introduced himself as. It was a unique name, indeed. "And good day to you two, as well. It is my pleasure to meet your acquaintance. My name is Darkskies Sioras. I am a Legate in the Tribe of Unbounded Sky. I've just recently been assigned as the ambassador for Volary Flights and wished to personally come to introduce myself." The Tribe of Unbounded Sky had been lacking in respect to their communication with their own allies and, because of such, the dark feline was eager to establish a good relationship with the clan that she'd be assigned to.
As she hadn't quite expected to see the territory in this kind of state, she'd neglected to provide many helpful items in her basket and truthfully felt some regret in doing so. Nonetheless, this was her very first visit and she was learning quickly. The feline gently pushed the basket toward Enjolras and the others, whose names she'd yet to learn. "I have brought some gifts for the clan to which you may do with as you please. I'd also like to mention that I frequently trade and scavenge, and would be more than open to taking requests for items, if you guys have any." She'd pause for a moment. "And- well, if you need anything at all from the tribe. Please do not hesitate to let us know. I'll be here every few weeks for a visit, and I'll be one of the first to greet you during any visits to the tribe as well." She didn't wish to step on any toes by assuming that they needed any help, but she certainly wanted them to know that they'd be there for them if they do need anything.

Unsure as to where you're going, T, but I hope you have yourself a great trip! We will look forward to your return in a couple weeks time. Much love to you! <3

The overall state and appearance of the Tribe's territory was indeed breathtaking to rest your eyes upon and it was undoubtedly Darkskies' most favourite aspect of the place she'd grown to know as her home. Due to this, she wouldn't be too surprised to find the occasional wanderer slipping through the boundaries to bask in all its glory. Who could blame them, after all? The territory that her home resided within had beautiful and bountiful meadows full of flowers, an exceptionally gorgeous castle where the members here lived, cool and flowing rivers and bodies of water that emanated beauty at every glance, and the graceful and magical presence of wild unicorns that roamed the lands, leaving behind even more flowers with every step taken. To top it all of, the weather in these parts generally remained the same: warm with clear skies, and the occasional thunderstorm. It was rare for them to experience snow or intense weather changes here. It all remained fairly calm. The female, herself, could hardly believe that she'd ever been allowed the opportunity to live in a place such as this, and she frequently wondered if she even deserved this kind of luxury after everything that had occurred in her past. Nevertheless, these were not the thoughts that her mind occupied itself with as she traveled through the territory that day. Instead, she had been investigating the unfamiliar scent of another within the area after having been alerted to it by the gentle breeze that rolled on through there. It didn't take her long at all before Dark had the stranger in her sights but, despite the fact that this canine was a trespasser here, she did not approach with hostility. Rather, the blue-tinted cat strode toward the stranger with a confident yet friendly air around her.
"Hello, Stranger." The female greeted as she slowed to a stop in the canine's view. She wore a gentle and welcoming smile upon her features and yet her body remained a little tense. Dark wanted to appear as non-threatening as possible until she could determine the reasoning for this animal's presence there but wanted to be prepared in the case that this encounter takes a wrong turn. One could never be too careful. "You're on the territory of the Tribe of Unbounded Sky." She declared, keeping a steady gaze on the other. "Might I ask your business with us today?"

Dark's ears perked at the mention of a patrol to the Yawning Grotto that Englishivy might be hosting in the future and a glimmer of interest decorated her scarred grey eyes. While the half-blind cat had never followed any religion other than Starclan, which no longer existed in the new world, she had to admit that she knew little to nothing of the religion that the majority of the creatures in Agrelos followed and celebrated. In fact, the name Naleren was completely lost to her. She had so many questions and so much desire to learn that the idea of joining that patrol was one she eagerly wished to pursue. It would allow her a wonderful chance of learning more about the religion outside of what the castle library could provide. For the time being, she would keep quiet on the matter and instead would wait to see what would happen. If their Harold were to accept the task and ask for volunteers, you'd better bet your bottom that Darkskies would be one of the first to do so.Turning her gaze and thoughts back to Glitteringgold, the Legate would offer him a pleased smile and grateful nod of her head. "I can certainly do that. Thank you." She'd purr in response then smoosh up her face slightly in contemplation. From her experiences in the past, it was quite apparent that the majority of those around her felt discomfort and some disgust at the sight of her feeding at events. More often than not, she ended up simply filling herself up prior to the event and felt that she should probably do the same this time around as well.
She turned away slowly, in almost a zombie-like fashion, in order to begin preparations while her thoughts continued to run deeply through her mind.
-
From deep within the confines of the library, the sound of the occasional loud thump and the struggled grunting of a tribe member could be heard through the entrance and down the hallways of the castle. It was the middle of the night and, while she was trying to remain as quiet as possibly so as not to disturb the other slumbering members of the tribe, the Legate was determined and on a mission. For almost a year now, she had found herself sickened by the fact that she was uniquely different from the majority of animals in Agrelos in the fact that she survived in life by draining the blood out of the vessels of others. The warm and thickly crimson liquid supplied her with the nutrients that her body needed to keep her going through the days. Unsurprisingly, though she never did kill anyone for the purpose of keeping herself fed, the idea of being drained of blood to supply another with such nutrients wasn't a popular and desired one. Oftentimes, she'd have no choice but to feed forcefully or the consequences of not doing so would leave an even harsher mark upon the world. When a vampire didn't feed, they risk the inevitability of losing all control. A vampire with no control and a strong urge to feed was not one that anyone would wish to encounter in their lifetime, for it too often meant severe blood loss which would take days to replenish or even the possibility of death.Darkskies had spent the majority of her life as a vampire and had conditioned herself over time to control her desires and only take what she needed, when she needed. Regardless of this, the feline still found no comfort in that ability. She had been but a mere child when her master and later mentor had gifted her the vampire strain. At the time, the young Darkkit had known deep inside that this was what she had wanted. Though, despite her mother's own warnings at the time, the now three plus year old feline had lost sight of that reason. As her mother had predicted, Dark would grow to regret such decisions and those regrets weighed down on her, feeding into the depression that she felt inside and the self-defeated thoughts that accompanied. For a very long time, it was believed that there was never a way of turning back. She truly believed that she would remain this way for the remainder of her life and have to live with the consequences of her actions until death. There was a lot of consequences resulting from decisions in her lifetime that she would have to deal with, but if there was any way at all that she could rectify her wrongs, Dark would make every effort to do so.
It was for this reason, and the fact that she had heard rumblings of a potential "cure" for vampirism, that had lead her to the library that very night. It was a small hope, supported by information that wasn't necessarily reliable, but it was enough to set her into motion. She was so in tune with wanting to reverse what she had done that she simply could not wait until morning to start her research. She was exhausted of the life she had chosen and felt mentally drained (ha) by what she was forced to do in order to survive. The vampiress delved into book after book about her own kind, reading each and every word that they could offer to her before plopping them down into a expanding pile on a nearby table. The books themselves were old, dusty and appeared to have been untouched for what seemed like ages to her. Each one she'd pick up, the cat would effectively clean off before proceeding to read them. She was perhaps on her fourth book, with the thickness of a twentieth century phone book, when she finally stumbled upon a glimpse of useful information. It was not what she had been hoping for- the exact recipe for effective removal of the contaminant - but instead acted as a guide to yet another book of interest that may have the answers she seeks.
Turning away from the book, Darkskies began shifting through the shelves in search of the one book in particular that had been referenced, and began to grow impatient and perhaps a little panicked that it was not easily found. Her heartbeat seemed to quicken a little as every place the feline looked lacked the book that she needed. "Where is it?!" Quietly grumbled the Legate as she skipped over the titles of each book present in that particular section. "Please, Starclan. Please, I need this." She sniffled emotionally to her ancestors, despite the fact that they no longer existed in this world. Tears began to well up in her eyes and she aggressively wiped them away, denying herself the anger of not finding the book. She had only been researching for a few hours. There was still plenty of time to do more and no reason yet to subject herself to such powerful emotions.
With a deep breath, she temporarily dismissed what she was feeling and continued her search for the book.
-
Darkskies felt absolutely exhausted from her late night rummaging in the library. Yet, despite her tired and bedraggled appearance, the Legate was alive, active, and already working on preparations for the picnic she was to be hosting that week. She'd spent the better half of the morning hunting down different types of prey and hauling them back to the castle for the picnic. There was a wonderful selection of various prey, including, but not limited to, squirrels, mice, sparrows, robins, vole, and even a lizard. She had taken particular care in not including rabbit out of respect for Windmaker. Along with these, she'd collected a classic checkered blanket, some vegetables for anyone who might prefer such, and a few homemade treats purchased by a trustworthy source at the Trade Center. To top it all off, in exchange for a couple pieces of armor, she'd managed to secure themselves a traditional picnic basket for their little event. When all was said and done, Darkskies would store what she could into the basket and then very carefully transport it over a lovely shaded area just on the outskirts of the meadows. The basket and its contents were quite heavy and the cat struggled immensely with bringing it to the area. She was not used to carrying such a weight and, as such, had to stop every few minutes for a short break. Eventually, she did make it her destination. It was a great location for a picnic, with plenty of shade to keep cool under, sun to bathe in, as well as a wonderful view of the beautiful meadows and the nearby river. She'd set the basket on the ground and immediately begin unpacking and setting up the items accordingly, starting with the blanket of course.
When she was done, Darkskies would take a step back and briefly admire the work she had done. She had managed to complete a hefty amount in a short amount of time and felt some pride in that. With a bright smile decorating her features, the Legate would then settle down and wait for her tribemates to arrive. Hopefully they all had received their invitations which she'd slipped underneath the door of their personal rooms. Each stated that the Picnic would be held at noon.
/Sorry guys. I had meant to post this on friday but ran out of time.

The dark feline offered a nod of her head in approval to the words of the Presbyter, and another nod of the head, this one in greeting, to Windwaker as he arrived to introduce himself. Her gaze would then refocus on the newcomer with a glimmer of happiness within them. "Kairi, it will be a pleasure to have you here. You may call me Darkskies, or Dark for short. I'm a Legate here in the tribe, and would be more than pleased to help you in any manner while you're staying with us." She would say to the wolf. "We have several rooms available to use in the Castle. You may pick which ever you'd like to stay in." Honestly, it was a little exciting to have another new face around here, and Darkskies was genuinely looking forward to getting to know Kairi a little more in the future.
